25/12/18 Week 5 Flower Merry Xmas! All 4 plants are doing well, growth seems to have slowed down so I think the next few weeks are just packing on weight and then ripening. Gonna give them all some pk 13/14 on Friday - had a small problem with fungus gnats in my bathroom which eventually led them into my grow tent. Been waiting extra long between waterings to minimize the chance of them spreading - I know they love wet, mouldy coco. Got some peroxide just incase they become a problem any way. Looking to chop 15th-22nd Jan, depending on how the trichomes are looking. Lots of users commenting on how much weight GZ packs on, really hoping to get some nice dense golf-balls. My previous grow, which was two plants yielded just under 1.5oz, would really love to see a yield around 2.5oz with my current 4 plant set-up. Merry Christmas - more updates in the new year!

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Grow Diary – Day 56 (Flowering Day 36) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom Status: Everything is running perfectly! At Flowering Day 36, the Sour Frootz plants are thriving in the mid-to-late flowering stage. Bud development is in full swing—dense, frosty, and increasingly aromatic. Trichomes are now clearly visible across the flowers and sugar leaves, signaling the beginning of the ripening phase. The terpene profile is becoming more pronounced: a pungent, fruity-sour aroma with subtle gassy notes is filling the grow space, pointing to a promising final product. Nutrient Program: This grow is fully organic using Green House Feeding’s Bio Line: • Bio Grow has been applied since the vegetative stage, providing a slow-release base nutrition. • Bio Bloom was introduced after the stretch ended, precisely when the plants shifted focus from vertical growth to flower development. This timing has proven ideal—plants are vibrant, healthy, and showing no signs of deficiencies or excesses. Observations: • Stretch has completely stopped; canopy remains stable and well-managed within the SCROG net • Buds are continuing to swell and frost up • No signs of overfeeding, nutrient burn, or pests • Humidity remains under control to prevent mold or bud rot Looking Ahead: The plants are now entering the ripening phase. The focus going forward will be monitoring trichome development, aroma intensity, and bud density. In roughly two weeks, harvest timing can be assessed based on trichome color and desired effect (e.g., milky vs. amber).

We are cruising now, 8 week and a day done of flower. The Blue Sherbalato and Wedding Cake are finished both have done poorly compared to the others. I said in my first posts neither plant was vigorous compared to the others. Maltezerz should make a fair yield and is also pretty much finished .Considering it did not have best speck and did not stretch as much so ended up being overshadowed a bit by everything else, it's done ok. Orangesicle has smashed the room, I can't wait for a proper taste off all of them. Of course I have quick dried samples from all, except GTH2,3,4.. I am not holding on to cuttings if they are not good. WC and the BS cuttings were launched weeks ago, They had no vigour, took almost a month to root so the plants just were not up to it. Yet the other weak seedling GTH2 has took off as a cutting and has needed more control than the rest. All the tests were pretty potent, not a lot between them, nothing disappointing ( I have been disappointed many times in the past with potency levels being no where near the claimed effects in the catalogues.) There was nothing unpleasant in the quick dried taste test, and a lot to look forward to. The outdoor plant has started flowering at around 45 days from germ, though it sprouted in an old chemdogging pot, I think it is from a GG auto mother, it has her structure with large calyx and heavy buttressed lower branches. I have gave her a light touch of pollen from the reg photo scotts OG male. So there will be a few seed in her, none would be Auto in the first generation, will I get the time/space to play with them?

Here we go into flower. If what they say is true, we're in for a nice color show.

The buds are ripening up. No amber tricomes as of yet but going to start keeping an eye on her. Cut back on all feeding minus molasses and coconut powder

WEEK 12 - 9/10/2021 - 15/10/2021 10/10/2021 - topped up with 10 gallons of water mixed with the following: Liquid Silicon - 1ml/gal - 10ml Cal-Mag - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Micro - 3.5ml/gal - 35ml Gro - 2.5ml/gal - 25.5ml Bloom - 3.5ml/gal - 35ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal -20ml pH - 6.06 EC - 1.16 mS/cm T - 23.9 I've decided to remove the plant with genetic disorder. The other 3 plants are in their 4th week of flowering while the deformed one is still vegetating. I'll be changing to mid bloom nute regime soon and it wont be suitable for veg plants anyways. Plus I'll be wasting the nutrients on it. Oh well... At least it was a good learning experience. I really thought it was some plant viral infection and was quite worried about it infecting the healthy plants. Didn't get much response from forums, so I actually asked Lex Blazer (the Youtuber) about it. He thinks its a type of abnormal growth is caused by a rare mutation and it's not some viral infection. 11/10/2021 - I changed the light to Migro Aray 8 since the stretching has stopped. 15/10/2021 - Minor defoliation done.

Essa planta demorou mais na Vega porque eu transplantei tarde devido ao grow de flora estar ocupado com outro ciclo. Dediquei um tempinho treinando e ajustando o Scrog, creio que agora não precise mais moldar os galhos, pra 1 armário 60x50cm tá apertado lol Subi um pouco a Quantum board para garantir que fique 35cm do topo central. Agora é só apreciar a floração.

Mimosa is looking the pick of the bunch early on here , a bit of pre flower stank hit me when I was tying her down … verr nice . Transplanted her into her forever home and tied her down , looking to double size again the coming week

First flowering week has started. I feel stupid because in my case, at least in a similar setup to mine, you can't use any organic nutrients. Everything goes to hell, the pH goes to hell, etc. I wasted years on this. In ress, the water cleared up just as clear when I cut out all organic nutrients and everything stabilized. I think this should be talked about more and emphasized to new dwc breeders like me. I had also calmag defiency but it should be ok now.

Day 30; Both plants showed signs of going into bud stage so I top dressed & feeding. 1st, 24hrs before I prepared worm tea. I put 3tbsp Molasses, 5ml/gal Cal/Mag, 10ml/gal Seaweed/Fish extract, .5ml/gal Orca, 2-packs Green Tea, 1-1/2cups worm castings. aerated 24hrs. 2nd, Prepare coir for top dressing, remove all LST ties & stakes, Scoop out cedar chips from surface. Add 1/4cup Dr. Earth Organic 4-6-3, 1/4cup Bone Meal, 1/8cup Bat Guano, 1/2cup Coffee Chaff, 1/2cup Worm Castings to surface. Hand mix in dressing into top 2" of coco coir. Re-apply Cedar chips, do LST. 3rd, Top Feed 3/4gal per plant, Bottom Feed 3/4gal per plant. By day33 plants had doubled in size so I re-LST & light leaf removal, sprayed Neems Oil on both ladies, the stretch was on... Day35, watered 1-1/2gal ea. 5mil/gal Cal/Mag, 5ml/gal seaweed/fish extract. Lil LST and light leaf removal.

Week 6 (27/02 - 05/03) During this week I will continue to feed the plants with Bio-grow, Bio-bloom and Top-max every other day. The two fat banana are in flowering stage by an entire week, while the blue cheese is in early stage of pre-flowering. The parameters remain unchanged with respect of the previous week: - light: 100% power, 18/6 h per day; - inkbird: 23.5°C, +1°C cooling, -3°C heating; - extractor: 50% power, 18h per day. 27/02 D35: removed a couple of lower leafs to the plants, they were a bit dry 28/02 D36: 1.5 liter of tap water each plant. Today I noticed some brown/orange spots on leaves of fat banana #1. Thanks to golden advises given to me by @GrowingGrannie, I will try to adjust nutrients in the next days. 01/03 D37: first day of recovery, sprayed leaves with tap water. 02/03 D38: second day of recovery, added 1.5ml of Bio-bloom and 1 ml of Top-max to 2.5 liters of tap water (almost 0.8 l each). 03/03 D39: third day of recovery, sprayed leaves with tap water. 04/03 D40: watering day. Added 2ml of Bio-bloom and 1ml of Top-Max to 2.5 liters of tap water. 05/03 D41: end of the week. The blue cheese has grown a lot this week reaching the taller fat banana #2. All three plants seem to be healthy.

I skipped a week sorry y’all! Anyways man this blueberry muffin is a masterpiece… I think next year I will be growing this baby In a 20gallon pot want to be able to stock up lol.. she has loved everything I’ve given her and I think she could take more if I have it but she doing just fine so no need to add more to her. Starting to smell yummy definitely not a typical cannabis smell it’s very pleasant ( although there is nothing like the smell of some skunk! ) and the buds are filling out very good. After checking out a few post on her I haven’t seen any massive buds but some small perfect ones so maybe I’ll get some them heavy colas. But anyways still Dealing with spider mites but they’ve slowed down a lot still every now and then hitting them with keen oil when I start to see them pop up. Probably going to be removing heavy grow nutes and blast more bloom and boosters. Anyways thanks for checking me out I know I ramble Peace,love and grow my friends!
