1 week of VEGETATION ...oh man, what a week.🤧. On Monday, the weather was still halfway decent. But what followed was just classic “Sauerland weather.” It was cold and rainy. I have to admit I moved the plants back inside onto the windowsill for a few more nights. I hope the next few days will be much better. Otherwise, this is starting to feel like a full-time job.😆 Saturday was finally a ray of hope. And the little ones🌱 could finally soak up some sun again. Conclusion: Growth looks stable, but you can tell the plant is lacking warmth and light. But that’s just how it is, and I’m sure it can only get better. One of the first serrated leaves is slightly deformed, but I don’t think it’s a problem.

6/14 These are some thirsty girls. It seems the roots have filled the grow bags. The added wind makes it so that I need to stay on top of the water. I also need to spray again. When defoliating I saw some WPM on the very inside of a couple plants. I killed a few aphids on one plant. It seems if I just manually kill them it takes a while for them to repopulate. Also found a worm. I should bust out the BT but I am undecided considering I have the WPM as well. Foliar spray will probably be Dr. Zymes or lost coast plant therapy. Note LCPT seems to not do shit against aphids. Will update as the week progresses. UPDATE: Went back over after noticing strong wind. 15mph sustained wind had my plants going as sideways as possible. Luckily the vertical trellis and supports I made have stopped any major damage thus far. I decided NOT to put tarps up on the south which is where the wind is coming from. I hope I do not regret that decision. I plan to spray tonight. 6/15 Rained all night so I was unable to spray. Surprisingly no damage from all that wind. 6/16 Rained during the night and soil was still wet so didn't water this morning. I noticed markings on one of my transplanted seedlings. Found Thrips. I've never dealt with these before. I was planning on spraying BT but now I'll need to switch to something else. LCPT, Dr. Zymes, or spinosid (captain Jack's dead bug). Considering I have been dealing with PM I'll try to use something that will deal with both. I'll update as I go. I have defoliation I need to do on at least one plant. I also need to reevaluate my space and consider moving a couple plants that way it isn't to crowded. Another windy day but it's from the north west which is better as the tree line and tarps help.UPDATE Went back over and watered all plants. One plant had a slight droop which is surprising considering the two days of rain. The wind dries those grow bags out quick and it was sunny day. I watered the one that looked a "little" droopy first before applying Lost Coast Plant Therapy to the entire garden with a half gallon pressure sprayer. I hope this was a good idea. The droopy plant got treated last. We shall see tomorrow. 6/17 Everything looked great this morning. Lightly watered before feeding 2 gallons. Replaced microbe brew with kangoroots this time. Plants looked very happy. No negative results from the lost coast plant therapy. If anything they look better. My cage is getting overwhelmed. I need to remove at least two smaller plants. They are exploding in that 50gal and the tote. If I removed just those two I think it would work a lot better. I would have more room to work as well. 6/18 LCPT doesn't seem to effect aphids. I noticed a few on ONE plant and had been killing them manually. Population was only on literally a leaf or two. I think my follow up treatment will be Spinosid. It works great and hits pretty much everything. I've used it once already. Plants are incredibly healthy. Leaves were wet so it lightly rained last night. I lightly watered as the soil still seemed moist. Different size containers makes a consistent watering schedule difficult. UPDATE: Went over and watered tonight. Checked the one plant that had a few aphids for aphids and found like a dozen lady bug larvae instead! They survived the wind and had babies! These are just wild guys that are all over the place here. Couldn't find a single bug other than that lol. 6/19 I watered early this morning lightly as the soil was not totally dried out but then it started pouring. Plants looked great this morning. After the rain I'll do some defoliating and check for any remaining thrips. Later in the day we had torrential rain that knocked out my cameras. Plants look fine as you can see and all cams and motion sensors are back online. I have backups but still. 6/20 We had torrential rain but plants are fine. Watered what needed it lightly. Bags dry out fast and I've found I need to water often or some will droop. Found spiders that had killed a couple of my lady bugs. I killed what I could. Still need to defoliate and apply second application of whatever I decide.

Zeit sich zu verabschieden. Habe viel gelernt und dafür war die PE von Barneys echt perfekt... Hat selbst durch die Trauermücken zu Beginn, die Überwässerungsfehler an Anfang und das viele Trimmen und Training sich einfach unbeeindruckt gezeigt und ist stetig gewachsen. Bin mit meiner Ausbeute mehr als zufrieden und werde die kommenden Tage nochmal trocken wiegen. Einzig, dass die Buds ein wenig luftig sind und ich mir noch mehr Geruch gewünscht hätte, stört mich ein wenig. Geruch zieht an, dürfte aber für meinen Geschmack noch mehr sein. Habe die Blüten 1 Woche in Kartons getrocknet und inzwischen in Einmachgläsern mit Boveda Packs und Hygros bei stabilen 61-63%. Neulich schonmal einen Krümel genascht und der erste Eindruck war, dass es ziemlich redselig macht. Hat Spaß gemacht. Berichte demnächst noch genauer über Geschmack und Wirkung. Bis zum nächsten mal! Even through the fungus gnats at the beginning, the overwatering mistakes at the start and all the trimming and training, it was simply unimpressed and has grown steadily. I'm more than satisfied with my yield and will weigh it dry again in the next few days. dry in the coming days. The only thing that bothers me a little is that the buds are a little airy and I would have liked even more smell. The smell is attractive, but should be more for my taste. I dried the flowers in cardboard boxes for 1 week and have since in preserving jars with Boveda Packs and Hygros at a stable 61-63%. This week has been all about environmental management and keeping the plant’s metabolism at its peak despite the winter chill. 📏 Precision Measurements & Training -Height: Steady at 37 cm. Vertical growth has stopped as she focuses all her energy on flower production. -Canopy Management: The LST has done a great job. The canopy is perfectly flat, ensuring that every "pompom" gets the same light intensity. -Visual Check: I’ve taken the plant out of the tent for some photos under white light to show the real progress of the trichomes without the LED distortion. 🌡️ Environment & Climate Challenges -Temperature: We’ve faced some tricky nights at 12°C, reaching 27°C during the day. -The Strategy: To prevent the plant from stalling due to the cold nights, I’ve started watering with lukewarm water. This keeps the root zone active and ensures nutrients are still being absorbed effectively. -Humidity (RH): Stable at 40-45%, ideal for keeping the developing buds safe and dry. 💧 Watering & Organic Pest Control -Nutrient Strategy: Still going strong with the full Biobizz schedule (Bio-Grow 1ml, Bio-Bloom 2ml, and Top-Max 1ml) in 1L of water. She is responding beautifully with no signs of overfeeding. -The Cinnamon Trick: 🛡️ I noticed some fungus gnats last week, so I applied a generous layer of ground cinnamon on the soil surface. It’s an old-school, 100% organic remedy that acts as a natural fungicide. Result: The gnats are completely gone! 🌿 Flower & Resin Evolution -The sugar has arrived! ❄️ Resin is now heavily coating the sugar leaves and the buds are thickening up fast. The plants are no longer growing tall for the light; they are focusing all their remaining power into hardening those colas and finishing the resin production. 🎼 The Vltava Ritual I’ve introduced a new element to the grow this week. Every morning, as the lights roar to life, I play "Vltava" (The Moldau) by Bedřich Smetana. They say plants react to vibrations, and what’s better for a flow of life than a classic masterpiece? It’s become a ritual—the rising sun of the LEDs accompanied by the rising strings of the symphony. The girls seem to love the high-class treatment! ❄️ Status: The Final Ripening The Banana Purple Punch Auto is looking world-class. The frost has moved from the buds onto the sugar leaves, and the density is getting serious. • Trichome Report: I'm seeing a sea of milky white heads. We are very close. I’ll be watching for that first 5-10% of amber to decide on the final flush. • The Fade: The nitrogen yellowing we discussed last week has progressed, which is perfect. The plants are naturally depleting their stores, ensuring a clean, smooth smoke without that "chemical" green taste. 🛠️ Maintenance & Environment • Defoliation Check: The air is moving freely through the canopy after my previous heavy leaf-stripping. 🌿 Grow Diary – Tag 84 | Blütetag 24 „Radikaler Haarschnitt, erste Harzschicht … und die Schädlingspolizei dreht wieder ihre Runden“ Diese Woche war klar: Schere raus – untenrum einmal Kernsanierung. Die Ladies wurden ordentlich gelollipopped und ich hab wirklich nicht gekleckert. Der Eimer war am Ende randvoll mit Schnittresten. Alles, was unten nur Energie klaut oder im Schatten gammelt, ist beinahe konsequent rausgeflogen. Ab jetzt geht die komplette Kraft nur noch in die Tops. Die Kush hat mir dabei kurz den Puls hochgetrieben. Etwas instabil im Aufbau, beim Schneiden halb auseinandergefallen – ich durfte erstmal wieder puzzeln, welche Triebe ich eigentlich behalten wollte. Kurz Zelt-Chaos … aber wieder eingefangen. 😄 📏 Höhe & Stabilität Der Stretch ist jetzt offiziell vorbei. Endhöhe: ca. 1,10 Meter – besser hätte es fast nicht laufen können fürs Setup. Viel höher und wir hätten Licht-Tetris spielen müssen. Zur Stabilisierung hängen jetzt überall Pflanzen-Jojos. Diese kleinen Rollen mit Nylonschnur, die die Äste sanft hochziehen und schwere Buds stützen. Schön gleichmäßiges Blätterdach, nichts kippt weg, alles entspannt. Echt kleine Gamechanger. 🌸 Blütenentwicklung Jetzt startet die eigentliche Show: Buds stapeln sich sichtbar erste Trichome / Harzbildung leichter, süßer Duft im Zelt Man merkt richtig: 👉 Produktionsmodus aktiviert. Jeden Tag ein bisschen frostiger. Ernährung & Feintuning Allerdings zeigen sie langsam klar: 👉 Phosphor- & Kaliumhunger Die BioTabs-Tabletten waren top für den Start, aber in der intensiven Blütephase einfach etwas zu träge. Plan: Mikroben pushen → Bodenleben aktivieren moderat PK nachdüngen → Blütenaufbau unterstützen Ein kleiner Schub, damit die Buds richtig Masse machen. 🐛 Reality Check: Nervensägen-Alarm Und ja … natürlich gibt’s auch die weniger glamouröse Seite des Grows. Tripse und Trauermücken zum Beispiel. Doppelt hält leider nicht besser. 😅 Tripse → silbrige Fraßspuren auf den Blättern Trauermücken → kleine schwarze Nervflieger über der Erde Nichts Dramatisches, aber einfach maximal lästig. So dieses typische: „Könnt ihr bitte einfach verschwinden?“ Werden natürlich beobachtet und in Schach gehalten – aber eingeladen war hier definitiv keiner. ✅ Wochenfazit Lollipopping erledigt ✔️ Stretch durch ✔️ Höhe perfekt bei 1,10 m ✔️ Jojos stabilisieren alles ✔️ Harz & Buds starten durch ✔️ Tripse nerven ✔️ Trauermücken nerven leider genauso ✔️ Unterm Strich trotzdem: richtig guter Fortschritt. The ladies got a proper lollipopping session, and I definitely didn’t go easy on them. By the end, the bucket was completely full of cuttings. Everything down low that only steals energy or sits in the shade had to go. From now on, all power goes straight into the tops. The Kush caused a bit of drama though. She’s slightly unstable structurally and basically fell apart while pruning, so I had to puzzle together which shoots I originally wanted to keep. Short chaos in the tent… but fixed. 😄 📏 Height & Support Stretch is now officially over – finally. Final height: around 1.10 meters, which is pretty much perfect for the tent. Any taller and we’d be fighting the lights. To keep everything stable, I installed plant yo-yos everywhere – those retractable supports with nylon strings. They gently pull branches upward, support heavy buds, and keep the canopy nice and even. Small tools, big impact. 🌸 Flower Progress Now the fun part really starts. You can see it every day: buds stacking up first visible trichomes/resin light sweet smell filling the tent That moment when you open the zipper and think: 👉 “Alright… production mode activated.” Each day gets a little frostier. Nutrition & Adjustments What’s becoming obvious now: 👉 early phosphorus and potassium deficiencies The BioTabs tablets worked great so far, but during heavy flowering they’re simply a bit too slow. So the plan: add microbes → boost soil life moderate PK supplementation → support bud building Just a small extra push so the flowers can really bulk up. 🐛 Reality Check: Pest Squad And of course… it wouldn’t be a real grow without some annoying visitors. Thrips AND fungus gnats. Double trouble. 😅 Thrips → those classic silver streaks on the leaves Fungus gnats → tiny black flies hovering around the soil Nothing catastrophic, but seriously annoying. That constant “can you guys just leave already?” feeling. Week 14 Day 92 (13/11/2020)💧: Great start to the week with watering today and because all the girls are entering their 4th week of flower, I will again be increasing the BioBloom as per the commendations on the watering chart, but since the pH has been increased they are definitely looking great and have enough nutrients between the watering days. So today I gave the girls 4.5 ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5ml of TopMax for 1.5L of water. I think I will be giving the same nutrients for the rest of the week as well. Day 93 (14/11/2020): Not that many updates today actually. The girls are looking amazing as always Day 94 (15/11/2020): I wanted to check the trichomes on the girls today with a loupe to see how they are developing up closer but I have no idea where my loupe is :( Really wanted to look closer at the flowers but will have to find it first to take some close up pictures as well Day 95 (16/11/2020)💧: We watered the girls today and gave them the same nutrients as before. They were watered with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow and 1.5ml of TopMax. I think the TopMax is definitely making the buds fatten up Day 96 (17/11/2020): Took some lovely pictures of the girls today. Was finally able to capture on camera the redness of the flowers (or at least on girl#1). It’s quite difficult to the get the true colours because of the way the camera perceives the light. Day 97 (18/11/2020): Just can’t get enough of the smell of the girls omg they smell so great. It’s kind of a mixture of citrus and spicy at the same time. Cannot wait to taste them Day 98 (19/11/2020)💧: I keep wanting to measure the pH to make sure that it is still above 6.0 but I haven’t had enough time because it takes a while, but I will make sure to measure the pH before the next watering. So as mentioned at the beginning of the week, I will be giving the same nutrients. I watered the girls with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5 of TopMax. So far the girls are looking good and happy with the nutrients. I’m only noticing yellowing leaves at the very bottom because there is not enough light, other than that the leaves seem like all the nutrients are balanced well. Also it looks like have finally stopped stretching length-wise and started focusing on growing the buds because the height is the same as last week. But really amazing progress this week, I’ve included a video of all the girls in the tent as well so it’s easier to see how different they are!

My PPM was 180 in plant B and 190 in plant A, today i gave I little bit more nutrients to both of them, rising the ppm to 290/ ph 6,15- plant A - and 320 / ph 6,1 plant B.

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering.... I think. I'm finally seeing flowering on all 5 plants now. A couple of them took their time showing their white pistils. Looking very sativa-ish in here. The tallest plant is over 80 inches and might be growing through the roof vent before it's done. Plant #3 is the keeper of this lot... but it has a strong, lemony, used laundry water, type of smell to it. Sleepy Joe has this type of smell too. Been hot in here this week. I've had to water by hand each day to avoid wilting. Haven't felt very well this week... Got a flu or something.... Feeling better today.. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Start of week 8. Week 7 went very well for the Do-si-dos, she also filled in her buds, very dense and lovely smell! She's got crazy trichomes and is almost as sticky as the Glueberry OG.
