9/13 Took the last special Kush today. I had too. Those fucking locusts were eating more and more. At least the trichs looked good. The second plant is straight fire! They're ALL good. I'll have to do the review. Tenth planet is swelling up and trichs are getting cloudier. They are starting to eat the chem dog too but it needs to bulk up and the trichs aren't there yet. Mk ultra natural may be some of the best quality this year. I'm losing SOME to the locusts but it seems they avoid the frostier stuff. At least I'm hoping. This is a great plantvand despite the nugs being so tight and stuff it just needs more time and im going to give it to her. Pink kush is actually look9ng like it might finish. But the locusts have STRIPPED a lot of that. I'll keep an eye on them and keep this uuodated. I got a notification saying congratulations on a harvester diary. I know these outdoor seasons are long but what difference does it make? Hopefully I can still add week later. 9/14 Weather is good bit it's so dry that the locusts are deafening. Thrips are still around and there's not much I can do about it. Looking at the tenth planet I isolated I can see that locusts stripped the middle some and it was stunted from the thrips. The pink kush looks good but I'm losing g some to locusts. The 10th planet, Chem Dog #4 and the MK Ultra I left natural are bulking up and trichs are exploding! Since I safely have some quality cannabis I'm go8mg to let these ride. Unless I continue to lose substantial amounts. Then my hand may be forced. The pink kush is nowhere near ready though. The others would still be good taken now. Smell is strong and I've looked them all. 9/15 Rained last night. Plants were wet. I probably should've watered. Had to remove two branches due to mold. I also removed a couple small buds that had molded. These 40 degree nights don't do well with rain. I'm losing more and more cannabis daily from those locusts and from some mold that comes with the damage. I've never had a year like this. The sounds the make are deafening. And it's not just at night, or a specific part of the day. It's ALL. THE. TIME. I'm not growing again without floating row covers. I'll loon for some today bur that's like closing the barn door after the horses got out. Oh well. That big 10th planet is ready. I was just waiting for more amber bur I'm not taking a chance losing more branches. I'll think about it and I'll update what I decide to do. I might take that today. Chem dog had thr most damage but last I looked it wasn't where I needed it to be. EDIT: DIDN'T TAKE ANYTHING. IVE GOT MY HANDS FULL TRIMMING AND DRYING ANYWAY. SURPRISINGLY THE TRICHS WERE ALL MILKY! THEY EVEN HAD SOME AMBER! CHEM DOG WENT CLEAR TO MILKY REAL FAST AND THE NATURAL MK ULTRA HAS BUDS THAT THE STIGMAS HAVECTOTALLY RETRACTED AND THE LOOK COMPLETELY DONE. AGAIN. TRICHS ARE ALL MILKY. IT THE BUDS ARE EXTREMELY DENSE AND I WORRY ABOUT ROT. BOTH THESE PLANTS COULD COME DOWN ANYTIME AND IM SURE ID BE HAPPY. I JUST HAVE A LOT RO DO AND THE WEAYHER LOOKS GREAT SO AS LONG AS THE LOCUSTS STAY AWAY THINGS WILL BE FINE. I ALSO watered everything a gallon. I may have been underwatering for fear of overwatering. Tomorrow's a new day. We'll see what it holds. 11% chance of rain. But after that it looks like it will be good. 9/16 Guess I didn't do a video. Went over this morning and then again around one. I brought my loupe and checked everything. Suprisingly some of the pink kush are MILKY already and legit hard as a marble. I won't get much from them but I bet it will be good. The tenth planet I probably should've taken. I was tired though and another day or so isn't going to hurt it. I took off a few of the fan leaves that were left but most have dropped already. The strain SAYS it takes longer but the loupe doesn't lie and the buds arent increasing in size anymore. The chem dog has caught up to it by now and the 10th planet WAS much further ahead. They both have been through the same stressors. This cold weather has sped shit up. I've got all MILKY with amber on thatl tenth planet and I don't want to keep losing more shit. The chemdog has swelled to almost the size of the 10th planet and are all MILKY as hell!. The mk ultra's stigmas have retracted on half the buds and are very dense. It has a few ENORMOUS calyxes on it. The only reason its still standing is that ive noticed A FEW clear tricombs and the plant is healthy. It can survive a little longer but its a September strain and we've had some cold weather already. Some have some stigmas still reaching upward (mostly on the cola) but other flowers have no visible stigma on the top. Theyve reached what looks like perfection and are all milky. That plant it frosty. It might be my best quality. Only time will tell. That plant doesn't have as much damage but I'd like to see a little more amber and see if the buds decide to connect. This strain is on time according to the breeder and ive just decided to oush it. I hope I dont regret I have a bud that rotted off a tenth planet branch so at least i can try it before i take it. Same with the chem dog but it's not dry yet. I'd would be good to try a tester bud before I made my decision on pulling the plant.

Transplanted on last day of the week as the other 1 liter pot just didn’t hold water long enough. Add slow release palates, crushed bone meal and a bit of mycorrhizae.

Started low stress training on June 29th in the first video. Second video is July 1st she grew quite a bit since adjusting the stakes. Really looking forward to her training seeing how big she can get.

Hello everybody trichoms said a time is now. So I made a finaly defoliation. After that I let it three days without water and started to to cut it ✂️✂️✂️

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

Hey Guys, Growth has taken off a lot this past week, have had to add a heater to the grow which isn’t ideal but with warmer months coming this should only be temporary. I have the thermostat set to start the heater when temps go below 23°c. Watching Dr Bruce Bugbee on YouTube, he stated that growth does start to suffer below this temperature. One of the plants has some odd colours and growth which I’m pretty sure is Mg deficiency, which is probably due to that particular girl being more sensitive to PH swings than the rest of the ladies. I have had to insulate some of the circulating pipes as the water cooler was struggling to keep the water baths cool. Seems to have helped keep temps down a couple more degrees, I mate have to reconfigure where my water cooler is in the piping run after this grow Finally a special thanks to the GD team for selecting my previous diary for DOTM, very flattering considering some of the great content that was submitted for March 2020! Week 1: Transition to Flowering Welcome to the fifth weekly update of our cannabis cultivation journey in Germany! As we transition from the vegetative stage to the flowering stage, our strains—Pulp Friction, Cookies Haze, Eleven Roses, Poddy Mouth, Critical Lemon Kush, and OG Kush—are ready for the next phase of their growth. Before entering the flowering stage, we took a few important steps to prepare the plants for optimal flowering. Key Developments: 1. Pre-Flowering Preparation: - The plants were defoliated to remove excess leaves and improve light penetration and airflow. - Each plant was repositioned to ensure they have ample space and light exposure. 2. Growing Medium and Setup: - The plants are grown in a mix of living soil, coco coir, perlite, and clay pebbles. - The soil mix includes mycorrhizal fungi cultures to support healthy root development. 3. Watering and Nutrient System: - The plants are watered from the bottom using an AutoPot system, which provides a consistent supply of nutrient solution. - The pots are equipped with air domes connected to an air pump, delivering oxygen directly to the roots to enhance growth. Steps Taken: 1. Defoliation and Positioning: - Carefully removed excess fan leaves to improve light distribution and airflow within the canopy. - Repositioned the plants to ensure each one has enough space to grow and receive adequate light. 2. Watering and Nutrient Management: - Set up the AutoPot system to supply a balanced nutrient solution to the plants. - Ensured the nutrient solution is appropriate for the flowering stage, with a focus on supporting bud development. 3. Air Domes and Oxygenation: - Connected the air domes to an air pump to deliver oxygen to the root zone. - Monitored the air pump to ensure consistent oxygen flow to the roots. Next Steps: - Monitor the plants closely for signs of flowering and adjust the light cycle to 12 hours on and 12 hours off to initiate and support flowering. - Continue to observe the plants for any signs of nutrient deficiencies or excesses and adjust the feeding regimen as needed. - Ensure the AutoPot system and air domes are functioning properly to maintain optimal hydration and oxygenation. Day 50 - Opened her up to expose lower and central flower nodes as it was DENSE in there. Removed any fan leaves that where in the way of bud sites. This should be the last LST session for this lady. Watered her with 2 litres of water with nutes listed above. Day 56 - Raised lights by about 3 inches as slight bleaching was noted on the top fan leaves.
