Kweekverslag: 4 x Spliff Seeds Gelato
Instellen
Zaden: 4 x Spliff Seeds Gelato (indica-dominante hybride, Sunset Sherbet × Thin Mint GSC-lijn)
Potten: 11 liter kunststof potten
Medium: Standaard potgrond (geen extra perliet of wijzigingen)
Tent: 120 × 120 × 200 cm (4 × 4 ft)
Verlichting: Bestva Pro 4000 LED (volledig spectrum, 3000K + 5000K + 660 nm + 730 nm IR) – hangt op ±45 cm boven de luifel
Lichtschema: Week 1-4 veg = 18/6, daarna flip naar 12/12
Temperatuur: 24-26 °C dag / 18-20 °C nacht
Vochtigheid: 55-65% veg → 50-55% bloei
Watergift: handmatig, pH 6,2-6,5, alleen water + Cal-Mag indien nodig
Week 4 Vegetatief (einde groeifase)
De 4 planten zijn supercompact en bossig – precies zoals je van Gelato had verwacht. Gemiddelde hoogte: 38-46 cm (plant 1 en 3 iets groter door betere hoek naar de LED).
Dikke, donkergroene waaiervormige bladeren met perfecte internode-afstand (±4-5 cm).
Goede vertakking vanaf de 3e knoop, al 6-8 zijtakken per plant.
Geen inspanning, geen tekortkomingen, geen gele randjes – de potgrond was perfect tot nu toe.
Luifel is mooi vlak, LED dekt de hele 120×120 perfect (geen hotspots).
Geur: nog bijna niks, alleen een heel licht aards/zoet ondertoontje als je de bladeren kneust.
Alles zag er top uit, dus ik heb op dag 28 van de groei direct geflipt naar 12/12. Geen training gedaan (geen LST/SCROG), pure bush-stijl.
Overgang & Bloei in week 1
Direct na de flip begon de typische Gelato-stretch. In de eerste 7 dagen bloei zijn de planten ±10-15 % gegroeid (eindhoogte week 1: 45-55 cm).
Eerste witte pistillen overal zichtbaar vanaf dag 4-5, vooral op de hoofdcola en de verhoogde zijtakken.
Toppen wordt al wat dikker en begint licht te “swellen”.
Bladeren blijven donkergroen en gezond, geen klauwen van branden.
Geur: vanaf dag 6-7 ruik je het al duidelijk – zoet, romig, met een hint van bessen en een heel licht gasachtig/munt-achtergrondje. Typisch gelato!
Waterbehoefte iets essentieel (nu ±1,5-1,8 liter per pot om de 2-3 dagen).
LED nog steeds op 45 cm, lichtintensiteit perfect (geen bleken).
Algemene observaties & tips voor deze opstelling
4 planten in 120×120 met 11L potten is ideaal: genoeg ruimte voor de bossige Gelato-structuur zonder dat ze elkaar verstikken.
Bestva Pro 4000 presteert uitstekend in deze tent – gelijkmatige dekking, geen dode hoeken.
Potgrond houdt het prima tot week 3-4 bloei, daarna waarschijnlijk starten met licht PK-boost (Gelato is een zware feeder in bloei).
Verwachtte bloeitijd: 8-9 weken (56-63 dagen) volgens Spliff Seeds info. De uiteindelijke hoogte wordt waarschijnlijk 80-110 cm.
Opbrengstverwachting met deze opstelling: 450-650 gram droog totaal (realistisch voor 4 gezonde meisjes onder deze LED).
Tot nu toe een gemakkelijke, stressvrije kweek. De planten zien er gelukkig uit en de geur begint al lekker te worden. Ik hou het verder in de gaten en update

Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4
I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate.

Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed
Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants
And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.

She seems to responding well to the net, and defoliating. I have taken quite a few leaves from both this week. Hopefully it won’t stress her out too much, it was much needed. The leaves were shading nodes, and crowding each other. We will see how the week progresses. She has been very petite throughout, but this last week I have notice she is starting to have a growth spurt. I wasn’t convinced it would happen with this one, but she’s on it! She had a rough start, so how ever it goes I’m curious to see how she ends. No deficiencies to note (touch wood) she has been quite resilient in that sense, where as her neighbour s/b has been battling potassium deficiency. Fed the same, but they really are worlds apart.

I like this plant it’s not to big and not to small. I’m still trying to give it enough nutrients it is a super heavy feeder. It keeps wanting more and more nutrients I’m excited to see how this one turns out

Pablo Escobar has been doing good. She was neem oil treated about 4 days ago. Then I treated her again today. Making sure I have eliminated the ghost pest I have not seem to found yet. I have seen it white sacs on the leaves. So something is about. So hopefully it is now exterminated. She was trained a little today and is ready for another week. 😺 It's official, I need a better camera lol but that aside the plants are looking great (maybe a little hungry)..we've started giving just the Big Bud a dash of nitrogen solution of.. this strain eats a lot, our Kush could never handle this type of feeding ...and thank god the stretch is over lol, the mainline in the 6.5gal is almost to my shoulders in height.. I'm still not a huge fan of the node spacing, it's much wider than we like, especially near the base, i'm not sure if full intact colas are in our future but these may surprise us.. the main stalks have really toughened up and should be able to handle any weight they put on in the coming weeks..thanks for reading if you made it this far and happy harvests friends! 💡🌱❤️😽💨

😺the plants are looking especially healthy atm, we started adding a little bit of grow solution with bloom about a week ago when their color started to fade, they're now the most perfect shade of green, however we noticed a little clawing on the smallest of the 3 Big Bud..we plan to go back to our regular feeding schedule for flower now that everyone looks good.. there's actually a good amount of nitrogen in our bloom supplement but I guess these are just really hungry plants.. I included a gallon container in one of the pics to provide scale❤️..thanks for reading friends!!

Another good week with more growth, but not as big as I would like, so I moved the lights up higher halfway through the week. I also moved the fan onto a corner post and got bigger pots that I will transplant into this week. After topping last week, you can see new main stems starting. I also found out they need to be fed more than every other day as on friday morning a couple were a bit droopy. After feeding, later in the day, they had perked back up.

estos últimos dias estiraron bastante los apicales aumentando la distancia entre nudos.
para bajar el PH utilizo ácido cítrico . El agua de grifo de base sale a 8,2 Ph y voy añadiendo hasta bajar a 6,7 áprox.
A los 25 y 26 dias estas plantas poco deberian de crecer más y todas ya han elejido por donde crecer y engordar. Llegados a este punto quité alguna hoja y algún chupóptero y até algunas de las ramas a los tutores como buenamente se pudo. El fin no es otro que mirar de acomodarlas por donde seguir creciendo y no tengan que soportar ellas solas el peso que se les viene encima cuando engorden los cogollos.
Como puede verse a una de ellas le salió una mutación genética llamada fasciación. una modificación cromosómica .

Einfach wachsen lassen bisher, haben wohl gut gewurzelt und jetzt mal schauen was wird. Bin einfach auf die blütenqualität gespannt ob DS was gutes ist.

Hi Growmies,
She has been taking very well to the plant success Orca that I have been feeding her for the last 7 days. Root development just exploded. Since these results are quite impressive I will definitely include such a product in my feeding plans. She doesn’t really want to stretch properly, even with an elevated and dimmed light. So I decided to flip her yesterday and am expecting at least 15-20 cm stretch. The Rezin I started feeding has already shown it’s effect as well, with small trichomes starting to appear on the fan leaves already, long before pre-flower has even started.

Day 44-4/12/21 everything is looking a lot better now!!! Day 47-7/12/21 plants are doing well a lot better now two of them are showing signs of purple!!! Day 49-9/12/21 everything is going better got some burnt leafs on a few but hopefully okay!!! Gave them a liter each today with food!!! Day 50-10/12/21 some are behind others but there’s this one plant that’s going purple I think it’s gonna be great!!!!

i keep bending her and trying to fill up the canopy to a point i enjoys the view more than i do now hihihi
I love getting medicated and just look at my Kale salad cutie pie, I mean this Supafreak @hsceurope is just so lovely and one never gets tired of just looking at her, I am sure this one thinks I am crazy with my big eyes all over every 5 minutes or so <3<3<3 joking or am I <3<3<3
She is almost at a point were I fell like I can take some cuts and flip her in to a 11-13 light schedule <3<3<3
dying here to see this beauty in flower mode showing of her fruits, for now I keep eating a occasional leaf here and there with fruits , on salads or just because I felt like having her lime leaf tree taste on my mouth, something I am enjoying more often than mb I should hihi
