Trip out of town to check on Buddy (As now named by the helper). Plant looked good on arrival but rather a lot of yellow leaves with the nice looking buds. I removed some of the shaded yellow fan leaves and sprayed the rest with Gaia Green soluble seaweed extract as a foliar spray. Also crushed in one calcium citrate pill. The remaining 0.5 L was watered onto the soil. Within half an hour you could see the green colour coming back to the leaves. Amazing revival trick it seems. After giving that some time which lets the potassium do its thing, I then fed it a final round of nutrients in pHed water (molasses, Big Bud, calcium citrate and Epsom salts). K followed by Ca and Mg. Planning to just use water for next two weeks. It is looking really nice. I had topped it several times during vegetation and consequently there were too many branches/colas happening. Removed four small ones as testers. Tied branches to cage to provide support and resilience against wind (see videos). Also placed logs to buttress the base so it won’t tip over in a strong wind. It was good to see Buddy again and I’ll check in her again soon.

And it's not the placement because I've tried moving them to that same spot and the pictures just don't come out the same. I guess the others just need to mature a bit more and they'll be more appealing in pictures because in person they really are.. 😍 Green sensation is really bringing it to the table. Buds are getting fat, stinky and sticky! I'll have to add a bit of support for sure because some are starting to bend a bit. Smell is just grrreat! She's definetly not ready yet so those 40-45 days of flower aren't that correct.. No problem with me though, i'm glad they've got more time to rippen up. Not much difference in nutrients.. I do use 2ml/L of enzymes every 10 days or so in flower.. Noticed it does great work in the roots during flower. Hope you enjoy the pics and vids. Taken on day 42 of flower. Bien aquí esta el día esperado la cosecha, es mi primer cultivo y considero que lo logre. En muchos medios de lectura y en especial en vídeos mencionan que no puedes esperar mucho es tu primer cultivo. En mi caso es falso y lo demuestro ya que si aprendes, investigas por cuenta y lees lo suficiente, obtendrás un alto porcentaje de que los resultados se den. Muy contento con mi plantas y sus tonos morados. Puntos a mejorar tener una carpa de cultivo y por su puesto un extractor de humedad para que baje la humedad preferiblemente a 45 grados Vendrán mejores contenidos y cosechas mas abundantes. Greetings from Russia my comrades! Thanks to all those who read me and support. I'm free, and that means that everything is fine and my little farm continues to grow. You know that I decided to grow for experiments parent plant and made him a bunk pot with his hands from a plastic Cup and bottle. Next, I plan to put it in a huge 90 liter construction tank. I want it to be a real tree! After I put a Cup with a plant in a bottle of 5 liters, it adapted and took root. After that, I gave her root stimulants and a working solution. She has derailed many new powerful roots and significantly has increased in growth. I removed five pairs of vegetative leaves from the Central stem, so that they do not block the light to the side branches. The plant is very cheerful, develops steadily.

The plants are beginning to show terpene development, with that "sweet" aroma continuing to emanate. One phenotype is already displaying notes of mango and "artificial" orange juice, something sharp. Another phenotype remains true to toothpaste, while others are more refined—mint, lavender, spearmint. There's one that is showing hints of dark chocolate, incense, and an herbal background. This testing will be one of the most interesting ones. Regarding flower development, the pistils remain upright and white, with no signs of self-fertilization, which allows me to continue fertilizing with homemade PK. I've been using native bacteria, fungi, and yeasts to pre-digest my banana teas, enabling accelerated absorption despite being 100% organic. This is an important step at this stage—we don’t want to waste anything, as these are among the last fertilized waterings we'll do. After this week, I will stop feeding the more indica-dominant phenotypes to begin their living flush (flushing the substrate using bacteria, aloe water, and then just water, avoiding runoff). The more sativa-dominant phenotypes will get a bit more time. Even though it's not clearly visible in the photos, they are "re-flowering," meaning they are undergoing a second push of floral growth toward the apex. This is a tremendous sign of good nutrient management and optimal genetic response. I’ve ordered an experimental cross from my geneticist for the next round—I’ll keep you posted. Good smokes.

Day 50 the plant has been growing at an incredible speed and has a very very large flowering stretch in fact I only have left 5 inches to raise up my light and then I'm going to have to do something to keep an eye on those branches so they don't stretch anymore or at least they can have enough light to proper development. From all the plants I have grow indoors this one is the only one that has make my light stretched to the top of the tent I guess it's a good problem to have. Other than the incredible stretch the plan seems to be healthy and doing pretty well the flower is development and I'm looking forward to see how this is going to turn out. Day 52 I have rise my light to the top as high as I can and she still grow past the light towards the exhaust system I had to tie her down in order to create an arch and in that way make her receive enough light instead of growing over the top of the light where there is actually no sufficient light if this problem persist I will have no choice but to do super cropping on the tallest branches and see how they react to that I decide to take some cuttings I'm trying to clone this one to see if I can get her outside in the summer in another buddy house and see how she reacts to challenging Ontario weather. Day 53 I have to Super crop several branches Unfortunately they were growing straight into the light becoming burned by the intense light I hope the plant doesn't react to bad to HST and still deliver awesome buds thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000

Week 10 beginning of the final stages. Smell is amazing 🤩 What would you guys make different?

Felt like growing was slow going this week. I know they’re only 7 days from breaking ground so they’re establishing their roots but there was two days I felt like they didn’t grow at all. I germinated two more seeds, was going to have a total of 5 in my 4x4 but I somehow managed to kill both my master kush seeds despite having a beautiful tap root when I planted them into the soil. (Any advice/methods for getting seedlings going from germination to 🌱 is welcome and appreciated) My two Gorilla Breath plants struggled for the last 3 days of this week and went pretty yellow, which I presumed was a lack of nutrients since they’re only in solo cups right now with Fox Farm soil. They most likely used up all those nutrients and thus began showing signs of nutrient deficiency. I plan to make the next transplant into pro mix with added perlite so I have Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom on standby with RO water for that process. I ended up giving the two gorilla breath a 1/3 dose of micro, grow, bloom in 1L of water for one of their feedings to attempt to get some color back. It seemed to start working as you can see on the pictures. I was into my local hydro store today to buy some perlite to add to my pro mix next week and the guy talked me into some foliar spray (see attached image) to address the nutrient deficiency. I sprayed it on the leaves right before lights out on day 7 (February 6th) Hopefully that helps them out. Time will tell. I also struggled with humidity this week, ended up using a wet towel temporarily to keep humidity levels around 50% but I ended up ordering a humidifier on amazon and got that set up today. Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting.
