Seguimos creciendo fuerte 馃挭!

03/15 - (M) - Mom is doing great - pre-flowered without any issues and now is in week 1 flower - still running the 8 line drip emitters with offsetting feeds - did some defoliation underneath the canopy - dropped the light down to 75% 03/15 (C) - Clones are rocking amazingly - side shoots are coming in nicely - temps are high and humidity as well - adding Raw npk silica to the feed mix this week to assist with cell wall structure. 03/18 (C) - They are on recovery mode at the moment, got a little reckless with their PH/PPM/EC馃槕馃槕馃槕 - Gave them a hard flush and will only feed clean water for the next week or so - they are bouncing back馃槑馃槑馃槑馃槑馃槑

Week 9 marks a turning point for the grow. The main plants are deep into flower now, with dense buds that glisten under the HPS light. Their smell is intoxicating, filling the room with the rich, sweet aroma that hints at the potency to come. Even the late bloomer has stepped up its game. While it鈥檚 still behind the others, it鈥檚 finally entering full flower, its smaller buds beginning to form. It鈥檚 got a unique charm, and I can鈥檛 help but root for it鈥攕ometimes the underdog ends up stealing the show. The grow room feels like it鈥檚 nearing its peak. The plants are massive now, with thick branches bending under the weight of their buds. Every day brings new changes, and I can see the finish line getting closer. The hard work is paying off, and I can鈥檛 wait to see how these beauties turn out in the final weeks.

Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 馃槣). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). Apart from that, will download the stills for the time lapse video and upload tomorrow. Happy Growing all!!! 馃挭

Hi people! Sweet Amnesia has undergone decapitation, which, of course, will benefit her!)) In general, it can be said that the phase of active vegetation has begun! and the plant grows very quickly and actively .. all lateral branches develop well .. in a week we will transplant it into a 40 liter pot! and LST will be her best friend!)

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Anyway thats it for this week and I hope to see you all on the final post for the end of Week 10 of flower and the harvest! Until next week. 鉁岋笍

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she鈥檚 looking beautiful. She definitely not as big as I was expecting but she鈥檚 really starting to fatten up, looking and smelling amazing. Can鈥檛 wait for these last couple weeks for her to finish and chop her. Day 51 - All is looking good and hoping by the end of week 10 she鈥檒l be ready or close to ready for chopping. Starting to get milky trichomes but still quite a few clear. The next couple weeks are gonna be fun to watch her fatten up more. Day 52 - She definitely looking good and getting a lot of milky trichs but there鈥檚 still a bit of time before she鈥檚 ready to chop, at least that鈥檚 what I鈥檓 thinking. Might do a split harvest if she calls for it but hoping she鈥檒l be ready by week 10 or 11 at the latest. Just need her to fatten up a bit in the middle. Day 53 - Gave her a feeding of water today and continuing to watch her fatten each day. She鈥檚 starting to get really frosty and smelly and I鈥檓 loving it! Excited for the last few weeks. Day 54 - All is looking good still and it鈥檚 like this girl is almost turning into one big giant frosty bud and couldn鈥檛 be happier with how easy she鈥檚 been to grow so far. Right now she鈥檚 almost 100% milky trichs and looks like she still has a little more time to go still. I鈥檓 going for a little more couch lock so need those ambers to start showing up. Day 55 - All is looking good still, just watching her fatten up everyday. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she鈥檚 smelling sooo sweet and getting frostier everyday. Thinking about just giving her pH鈥檇 water from here on out. I鈥檓 guessing another week or two and she should be finishing up but just gonna continue watching trichs. Waiting for them to start turning amber. Still a few clear in there but not many, mostly all cloudy now.

It's week eight of flowering, and Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle has developed really nicely. The buds are relatively thick and firm, and the sweet aroma got me looking forward to the first taste test. Unfortunately, Lemon Cherry Gelato has not developed as well. The buds are not as thick and firm as I would like yet, but the smell is truly breathtaking.
