This was a great strain for my first grow! The plant was forgiving of my several mistakes throughout the grow and just kept bouncing back. I had self-created problems with over watering, not enough nutrients toward the last few weeks (I started flushing and scaling back nitrogen too early, thinking I had a nitrogen issue). I'm waiting to review the smoke and high until after curing. I tested the THC and it's coming in at 17.5%-18%.

I'm like 5 days late with this update so I have had to pin videos that I took the same week while I was communicating with TRYHARD so ignore any dialogue that's out of context they aren't diary logs they are simply correspondence between myself And TRY, oh and sorry about my language I'm common as muck me. The pictures are just random pics I took that week as oppose to my usual more organised method but hey ho I'll do a more tidy job next week. The week went swimmingly barring some nitrogen deff on the lowers which I initially put down to the hot weather drying the pots too quickly and causing nute lockout with the salt buildup so I flushed then gave them a nice feed after they dried the pot at which point I noticed the most heavily afflicted by the N deff were also the quickest drinkers and had lower EC on the runoff so I have been giving them a slightly stronger feed than the others and it seems to have solved everything so I'm happy with that. Bud development is nice, frost is nice, terps are through the roof right now..... Zkittlez ones are really stinking of lime and candy bubblegum Punch ones are stinking berry berry nice! The terpenes are starting to come through. There is a delicious fruity smell pushing through the diesel smell. The leaves are beginning to yellow and I think we are coming to the end. I have some pretty big and sparkly colas coming through. I shut off my red lights on the LEDs to get a good video that shows off that sparkle. Trichomes on the sugar leaves are beginning to turn amber, the rest are almost completely milky. I'm giving it another week before I chop. I do a slow flush at 470ppm with only canna boost, cannazyme, and cal mag. I will be topping off with only phd water this week.

07/06/2025 - Day 98 Short Facts: - 86 cm tall - VPD @ 1.0 - Approx. 900 PPFD - Fungus gnats still there - Thrips seen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry for not updating the diary over the past few weeks. I had a medical emergency in the family, which caused quite a bit of chaos. There’s not much to report — her flowers are getting bigger and bigger. The smell is really special and intense! It looks like senescence is starting. She has lost some color in her leaves and is now turning more yellow. Just to be safe, I added a small amount of Epsom salt. And of course, there are still problems: The fungus gnats are still around, although there are far fewer than before. I’d say their numbers are down by about 80% compared to the peak, so at least some progress has been made. I’m still fighting them and have ordered more predatory mites. Unfortunately, I also noticed some leaves that didn’t look good, so I took a closer look. The result: I found thrips on both plants. It doesn’t look like a full-blown infestation yet, so I hope I can get it under control. The predatory mites should help, and I’ve also ordered some green lacewing larvae to support the fight and hopefully wipe them out. This whole situation is really frustrating. I recently had to deal with thrips on one of my biggest Alocasias, and I’ve been battling a persistent aphid infestation on my largest Dieffenbachia for weeks now. I’ve never had this many issues with pests before.

It’s warming up outside so the a/c and dehumidifier are working a bit. Got the lights on during the night so just a few hours at lights on they work a bit hard. Cleaned up underneath removing any sucker shoots and leaf that was near the soil. Not much really. Mostly on #3 as I didn’t train out the branches as much and she grew tighter together, so I removed mostly all inner growth blocking light and that allowed a lot more penetration and flow. Left a few leaves below to die off naturally…more the better. Gonna put some Grub Grenades in the pots with some yellow sticky cards. Not because I see anything, just being cautious. I do see what looks like Springtails but don’t seem to be an issue yet. Still looking green and healthy so I’m happy! Grow on! Update Made a few adjustments. I let the tops grow into the tsw2000, 18” to tops. I didn’t like how they looked so I raised it back to 24” where I’ll keep it. The “Kind LED” I know from previous grows that it can’t get closer then 24”. But this is my first run with “Mars” so I’m still figuring out the distance for my setup with additional overlapping light intensity from other lights. With that being said another pod failed so I’m down 2-Kind LED’s now. Gonna remove all old tech and use all newer TS series lighting. All Mars moving forward. Seems to be a great light and when compared to other quality lights you can’t beat the price!

I used the glass of water technique, soaked it for 18 hours then transferred it to moist paper towel (paper towel method) put it on a plate and placed it on a dark and warm area and spray water once the paper towel goes dry. 2-3 days until the seed crack and reveals its tail then i planted it on my medium.

My plant is growing pretty well. She has developed many new nodes, since I used fertilizer last wednesday. I want to top her next wednesday or so, becuase of my limited tent-height. I also put the light from 14 DLI to 20 DLI. I want to increase the intensity every day a bit more to let her slowly adapt. Edit: I rotated her so that she can absorb light evenly and therefore grow evenly. Update 08.04.24: Some roots have reached the surface, so I decided to cover them with some new soil. I also decided to top her today and bend some of her leafes down. Update 09.04.24: I actually didn't want to start LST until next week. The topping is actually intended to strengthen the growth of the secondary branches, but a few of these branches received little light. That's why I decided to start with LST now and continue to enable the growth of the secondary branches.

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. Transplanted from red solo cup to 2 gallon pot mid week. Trying to build solid roots that are slightly bound. Intention is to train the roots horizontally and vertically in their final 7 Gallon cloth pots. I have reduced my plants from 3 to 2 plants. I feel 2 plants work better for a Scrog in a 2x4 tent. I am watering (200ppm, 6.7ph) with a 2ml solution of Seaweed Extract roughly 2.5 times per week. I am also applying it as a foliage spray using a pesticide sprayer.(brand new, so clean) Runoff water PPM 750(due to FF Ocean Soil) Ph 5.8. Same day of transplant I put my plants under my Mars Hydro Tsl2000 on full power 40 inches from the plant. Following day: 25 inches Following day: 16 inches (best recommend distance by cocoforcannabis.com) helpful site for tested lights. Currently both plants have 4 nodes. I intend to top above the 2nd node once 5 nodes appear. I intend to scrog in an X pattern with the 4 main colas that should develop.

Pablo Escobar is coming to a end. She has some nice frosty colas on her. She has a fruity smell with a pine undertone. Her feed was pretty strong and it probably effected my final yield. She will still provide several ounces once she is processed. I have not has a good sativa in some time. She smells very good. This is THE week. The girls are putting on weight and connecting with a great fade going on. The trichomes are at about 1% amber, 25% hazy and 74% clear. I suspect that will change soon. I’m doing special feedings for the plants every other day with a shot of beastie bloomz 0-50-30 and redirecting the runoff to a separate reservoir. We are in the home stretch here and I can’t wait to trim up the super piney, earthy, floral strain.
