7/11 - Top dressed all with Foundation Grow, Foundation Uprising, Oregonism XL, and Nitro Bat Guano. Watered w/ RO water & Extreme Serene. They are looking great. 7/12 - Fed with liquid nutrients today followed by some selective defoliation. Also adjusted the LST and added a little coco mulch. 7/14 - Watered with plain RO water and added Mosquito bits for pest prevention. Also did a foliar spray of Ancient Amber. They look very happy and healthy.

The end of the fifth week of flowering and there is nothing to talk about... There are still problems with SSH. I thought it was a calcium deficiency so I gave her an extra dose but it's hard to say if it helped much. I read that calmag from biobizza is not very strong. I don't want to give too much because too much calcium will block phosphorus. PK got quite a lot and I'm wondering if I should give her more or maybe she is sensitive and I should give her a rest from fertilization? It certainly doesn't help that they are dry all the time...

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! I switched lights and lighting schedule last week, the stretch is in full swing and I’m starting to see some baby buds.

THIS WEEK THEY ALL BOLTED. I GAVE ONE GAL AWAY TO MY FRIEND. SHE'S INTERESTED IN GROWING. SO NOW IM DOWN TO 3 RHINOS. GROW IS VERY GOOD. I DECIDED TO LST 2 OF THE GALS. AND I'LL COMPARE THEM TO ONE W/O ANY TRAINING. SO FAR GROWTH IS VERY GOOD. VERY GREEN. AND STRONG STEM. NOTHING STRANGE.

Slowly going into flower. I mean real slow lol. It's showed some pistills about a week ago and still you really have to look for them a week later. My veg lights are 5700k and are on 24/7. Guna let them stretch a bit more and flip to my flower light's 3500k and change time to 20/4 sometime this week

Today marks a significant milestone in the journey of my cannabis plants as I have successfully set up the irrigation system. This new development will ensure an efficient and consistent supply of water for the plants, fostering a conducive environment for their growth. Up until now, I've been diligently top feeding the plants since their germination, laying a solid foundation for their root system. As a result, I anticipate that the plants will be well-equipped to adapt to this change and will continue to flourish. The plants have been thriving spectacularly and have demonstrated a clear preference for being dispersed over a larger surface area. I attribute this positive response to the method of main lining, a technique that has proven to be one of the most straightforward and effective approaches I've tried. The anticipation of seeing the final canopy and colas is immense, and I am eager to see how this technique will enhance the overall yield of my cannabis plants.

6/9 she is 47 days old. Her leaves are dark green. The leaves around the dense buds are thin and frosty. 6/10 48 days old. She is spread some what we'll. There are a few lower buds I would have liked to remove. They're there now. She has fine leaves around the buds. So I think they will get enough light. Maybe I should have tried to lay the branch over more. I did not fill the pot to the top with soil and with the settling. The plant is low in the pot, this makes it harder to tie the branches. Next time I want to get the plant higher, so I am able to work better under the branches. Very hard to defoliate the plant.

Ja wie auch bei der runtz, die zuckerblätter sind stark trichomen besetzt. Und hier hatte ich beim lollipoppen wie erwartet etwas mehr Arbeit. Ebenfalls habe ich hier ein paar kleinere untere doch kräftigen bads wegschneiden müssen. Da das Licht reinbringen, durch Sägeblätter entfernen super funktioniert hat, brauche dich auch gefühlt unten sehr rum sehr wenig wegnehmen. Mittlerweile hat man vom Geruch her eine doch würzige dumpfe Note die am Ende doch leicht fruchtig ausläuft. Ich bin weiterhin gespannt wie am Ende die was aussehen und wieder Geschmack sein wird. Und der Vergleich unter den beiden Pflanzen und Sorten ist sehr interessant und sehr schön im Video sichtbar. Auch hier haben die buds richtig viel Potenzial schön dick zu werden. Aber vom Gefühl her bis zum jetzigen drücken muss ich sagen, die werden minimal luftiger werden als die von der runtz.

I have tasted some even though it is a little early for it to be fully cured. The smoke is very smooth, absolutely no throat hit but within seconds I get a great feeling at the top of my head and melts down to the rest of my body. Grandpa Larry should not operate machinery! Currently don’t have a scale... epic fail, hopefully I will update this with an approximation of yield.
