End of cultivation of a landrace, probably Manga Rosa, due to the smell and flavor, in addition to other characteristics (sativa, long-flowering, style of flowers). 3.7 liters (1 gallon) = 58 grams / 2.04 oz (flowers without branches) Using 120w lm301h-evo, together with another plant in the same environment. Last week just water, two small flushes, to clean the soil a little, but nothing excessive. 7 days drying, dark, well-ventilated environment, without direct wind. And now cure for at least a month, trying a little each week. I killed her when she was 93 days old, with 12 hours of light from the beginning, it seemed automatic. Because she is almost or completely sativa, perhaps another 2 weeks could be good for her, but I wanted a cultivation period of around 3 months, which was cool, but I believe that for a 90-day cultivation period, it is better to use some hybrid or indicates, as they develop faster. Sativas are aggressive in their expansionism and slow in flowering. Leaves and branches saved for later extraction, probably ice hash.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Apr 11 The plant is now actively sacrificing lower, less important leaves. I've used flexible garden wire to separate the side colas from the main cola to help light get in. Things are fattening up and trichomes are developing.

Week 6! Plants are green and healthy. They range from 15”-25”.

31-08-2019 Another glorious week with the new system, getting the RO water is less a challenge than the Soil or CoCo with previous grows and soo much better than feedings of 2 or more gallons every other day. She seems to be coming out of the shock mode as some stems are changing back to green from deep purple. Some new growth has started to appear so that's a good sign 😎 Nutrition will be doubled on the next Nutrition Change out in 7 days. So far! All variables are under control. I like the fact I can turn the tap and check accurately and adjust if needed unlike soil unless you are using a soil kit all the time. I have notice a few drips coming out of the unit but not much to be concerned with. Pump work 15 min intervals pumping Nutritional spray. 2 different Air flows 1) in solution with air stone and 2) open wand spray inside directed at the roots to provide additional oxygen.

Due to last week BCN leaf change to lighter color, brown and some leaf tip got the burn. So i decision to feed organic Bat guano juice instead of Flower Fuel and Myco+ For Pineapple still small and slow growing rate, And look like just only Bud is growing only. This plant i change to feed Bat guano only same as BCN also. Due to yellow leaf issue, I check soil PH by cheap soil PH meter and found soil PH around 5.5 Looking seem to be problem of ph locked. Before end of this week i decision to fill dolomite around 3 tbs per pot. Hope it will help my plant from nutrient lock and help my plant better on the late of flowering stage. Need see result in near future.

Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Week 9 – Bloom in Full Swing! We’ve reached Week 9, and our Gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds is thriving! She now stands tall at around 70 cm, with a strong structure and wide canopy supported by the SCROG net. The training and care are clearly paying off — she's growing vigorously and looking beautiful. With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. It’s a clear indication that they’re happy, healthy, and thriving in their environment—big leaves mean lots of energy being produced and stored for future bud growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption.
