START WEEK Day 88 04/03/22 +I think maybe the video is the best way to show my garden. Exposure is all crazy in tent. +I have sort of been on cruise control. Just watching the girls grow. Actually beginning to see some trichomes appear as a silver haze ( hence Platinum OG) on some of the leaves. EXCITING!😬 +As they grow, the differences and techniques on each plant show up. One plant was slow from the start and is just beginning to flower. Partly because it has become eclipsed. +I have been "leaf picking" thru last week and will continue this week. I can't seem to keep up with the vegetation. I am beginning to get the hang of it. +I will do a complete Reservoir change this week. +ppm at or just above 1000 +pH 5.9 +I think the one plant has almost stopped stretching +light is 100% and 24" from main canopy. Some kolas are as close as 16". Although by my design, I can see the importance of having all plants similar size and even canopy. THINKING OUT LOUD ?Do I remove the largest fan leaves? ?How large should the buds be now? They are about Quarter size. ?How far down and what grow should I remove? ?Thinking, down the road, about flush and nutrient schedule? Darkness before harvest? So I believe the plants are coming to an end within a couple of weeks. I took everything off the timer and am now running 24/0 light schedule. I want to make the most out of what light is available. The plants need it. My tent is underpowered in that department, so increasing the duration of the light is all I can realistically do. Hopefully, it will help. The buds have been developing nicely. They are incredibly FROSTY 😍 so to keep the progress going, I have been sticking with the sea kelp for the potassium. Occasionally adding phosphorus with the bud explosion PK Booster. With much smaller doses in comparison, each time. There are definitely signs of nitrogen excess, with the clawing on many leaves. There are also extremely purple stems on the leaves. As I don't know what the seed was, I can't tell whether it is normal for the strain it is, or a nutrient issue, light stress, etc. (If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate them!) This one was planted in coco, perlite, and worm castings. Due to this being practically the first time I've used this mix without adding the peat based "light mix". I had not realised how quickly the pots will dry out, especially during the high water consumption of the flowering stage. I realise that I need to be treating it as pure coco. This can be fantastic, for example, if you have just one pot/plant and can provide all the waterings and monitoring continually and regularly. This tends to make you use more nutrients than necessary, as personally I find it difficult to use just plain water. I think many of us still can't help the feeling that we should be adding things to every watering. Therefore, when the frequency of the waterings increases, we are still adding nutrients EVERY time. Which is an overall increase in nutrients, too. For my part, I'm cutting the amount of nutrients per watering. I feel like nutrients are a bit of a crutch to growers. I'm still getting used to the coco and the waterings, but I am really enjoying it. If you don't check your plants multiple times a day, it may not be the best choice of substrate. For me, I'd much rather the pots dry quickly because it reduces the chances of mould and mildew, which I'm always concerned about. 30.5.25: I watered with 4L of plain dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1. Day 57. Girl is flying and becoming tallest from all. Flowers are very chunky, it will produce few grenades ;)))) Still same 500 ppm as extra once a week of Mg. Approx 3g of mycos and phosphorus is added to the pot once a week. Day 58. have very high humidity, so all oscillation fans on max, extraction fan on 70%. Happy Growing !!!

💫The week went great. After the first stress, growth seemed to slow down, but it worked out, the plant began to expand. I water it every 3 days. I continue to bend the stem along the axis of the pot. I bend the branch that will pass through the fastest. 💚I started giving supplements late. Only on the 33rd day I gave him fish and everything else. 🍀 Week showed good growth, but it could have been better, let's see what happens with the additives. I continue to twist the stem in a circle (I don't know where to twist it). And I also cut off the leaves a little bit, about once a week, as they block the light (a friend says not to overdo it with defoliation, let's see what happens).🍀

Hi all. Welcome to this run withbthe Viparspectra XS1500 which i was kindly sent to try by their helpful rep Valerie. As I have a fairly good space to use for my main grow , it seemed an ideal time to explore a few options while I wait for space to appear following upcoming harvests. The opportunity hit at a good time and has now driven the future play time. lol The light is a full spectrum 150W( at the socket) , Dimmable and very well made unit. As summer is here now , my concerns of more heat being an issue have stopped me from adding my other light so the smaller 2ftx2ft area covered by the XS1500 is a good option , The heatsink is built into the case design with a finned top to dissipate the heat so no noisy fans. Switching it on to full power was a nice surprise as the footprint was way wider than I had expected and the actual coverage is even better for my Nursery to harvest plan.... I am growing autos perpetually at present and have been able to throughput the plants with just 2 lights and using the overlaps at the edges to bring seedlings along to veg/flowering, as harvesting is finishing. The timing had been working well but the plants were getting smaller towards the last runs . I gave it some thought and Rh % came to mind. With the perpetual runs not having a higher rh in their veg periods due to other plants needing a lower Rh% in flower , the vapour pressure deficit (vpd) was not within veg periods healthier range. This current run has exploded and filled my normal space very quickly which in turn means I cannot use the same principle as the last perpetual run of bringing the next ones along ready for the exchanges. The XS1500 takes care of this issue with it being perfect for an initial nursery light that is easily covering all the new seedlings but is also able to cover my experimental "5 plant 1 Pot" attempt. I have placed 5 of my own autob seeds from a previous seeding in a single 60 L pot and intend to strip them to their 4th nodes and only allow 2 mains per plant to develop and flower. Inam hoping to have 10 mains growing in it that will be under the xs1500 solely as the other plants outgrow the lights footprint and space they are in. They will go into the main grow space once able so i can really see how well this new light can flower with the 10 mains to fill the space. Until that point , I will diary as we go and see what we can achieve.

First pic is showing off some of the stretch that has occurred. We start “Above the Stakes”this week. -Sun 10th; it looks like the R plant is making a solid effort in its Stretch, which has just begun & is really happening. The L plant is flourishing and nearing the end of its own stretch. There is an image of the pair with 3’ showing on a tape measure as reference. Jan 11 Good things are happening as the circle of branches starts fill in ! ** as a side note, the Uv-B is going back on for 6hrs a cycle (3+3) after some more reading and the recent stretch action from the plant on the R. Nothing wrong with a weeks delay in nature between sisters & UV-B sounds like solid tech. Power is on again ** - Dinner-time after 4 days. - Hole drilled in overhead corner-bracket, to help Centre the Light. - Plants have been rotated a bit, LST (lashing-some-timber lol) re-positioned a bunch of branches/stakes, meshing the two plants together, in the middle. nuf snapshots. details as the week-ends. -Nutrient ratios are Max’d as the volume will continue to climb for 2 more big feeds. -rapid-start & cal/mg have already been dialed back a bit. My watering volume per/24hr now shows my water use in metric. That # is based on the last 2 meals and I’m now looking at 5 days without nutes... 14th, Steady progress all the way round. Moving lights and supports as needed. Reach continues on the Right plant, while the Left continues to look amazing -molasses in next feed (Sat), TDS to be updated 15th -the volume of water my plants have been receiving, has been larger each of the last 4 feedings. Extra time between feeds has been allotted and watering based on Pot weight/dryness is keeping the plants Full and Green. -The next feed will be half the volume of the last one. The goal tomorrow (day 5 since last feed) is to immediately satisfy the plants nutritional needs with a small meal (7 litres/2), but then it’s going to scream for more food. This time I will wait only 2 days and return to the larger volume and a 4-5 day cycle. That’s the plan. Goal was to raise both the volume and demand for more nutrients. (Without creating a swamp) It’s been kind of patchwork getting the numbers-up, and this is the first pause in that steady climb. Both plants seem to be firing in all cylinders. Sun Jan17 - adding Molasses to each feeding from Week 5 on in to harvest. - 2 days since last half-feed. Big feed tonight and 5 day gap next. -Reached my Max H2o volume with solid Nutrition #’s. Plan is to hold levels for week 5/6 and then begin to taper nutes & volume slightly in 7/8 and hold till flush (11) & harvest (12/13) ** this grow is my best effort yet, if anybody sees or feels it’s getting “sideways”... I guess dude was right about it foxtailing but I don’t care and I don’t think I can do anything about anyway. My light is at 50%. She is only getting 600 ppfd and I’d have to check again but I know the DLI is under 30, I want to say it was 25 or 26. Temps never go above 76° lights on but typically stay at 74°. Idk if it is light stress then i don’t understand how ppl run these high wattage lights. Maybe I’ll try the co2 bottle again

White Domina is really impressing me with how much the buds bulked up the last two weeds. They are still slowly fatting up, and this week transitioning into heavier resin production and a few of the many white hairs are finally starting to change color. I did switch the lights to turn off 30 minutes sooner at the beginning of the week to hep them transition. So 11.5/12.5 schedule this week. Following weeks is going to be dropped another 30 minutes to 11/13. I also want to start getting the temperatures a considerable amount lower than what they have been so that I do not off-gas my terpenes and negatively affect the potency and flavor. I been battling the humidity, with the plants drinking 6-8 gallons every 2-3 days. I'm hoping reducing the light intensity, as well as the duration will get them to drink a little less, and I can keep my vdp a little better in check.
