🗓️ Day 78 – Embracing the Power of Nature Another week has passed in this beautiful outdoor grow journey. The plant continues to surprise me with its strength and resilience. This past week brought intense sunlight and scorching heat, but no changes were made to the technique – I still rely entirely on nature’s rhythm. No additives, no boosters – just clean tap water and occasional Plagron Bat Guano top-dressings every 10 days. 🌿 Growth & Structure After recovering from the strong winds and heavy rain earlier this month, the plant has bounced back stronger than ever. The main cola is stretching tall and proud, and the side branches are developing nicely with consistent flower formation. 🔎 Health Observation The leaves remain lush green with no signs of deficiency or stress. The overall structure is symmetrical, with good internodal spacing and healthy development. Some light purple tint appears in the petioles – likely a natural trait under current temperature fluctuations. 💡 Minimalist Approach This grow has been intentionally simple – an experiment to see how far genetics and nature alone can take a plant. The result so far is impressive, especially for a FastBuds autoflower grown without any synthetic nutrients or intensive care. 🌸 Flowering Stage The plant is now in full flowering mode. Bud sites are clearly swelling, and trichome production has started. With a bit of patience and consistent care, we’re on track for a natural and aromatic harvest. 🌱 Soil & Feeding • Organic super soil mix • Occasional Plagron Bat Guano (every 10 days) • Tap water only – manually aerated before use No bottled nutrients. 📷 See photos for close-up bud development and overall plant structure. Beginning of week 8 and seems like a long way to go. Most of the hairs still white. Hopefully the buds will fill in more! As right now I’m planning to take it 10+ weeks. This week I will lower the CO2 slowly 50 PPM every day until I will reach 800PPM. Also I will lower the light intensity by 2% every day. This week I lowered the day temp to 79 degrees and next week I’m playing to lower it every further to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Water temp is at 68 degrees and probably from week 9 I will lower it to 66. Beginning of week 8 TDS is at 550PPM. I sent adding the Late bloom enhancer from Current Culture! End of week 8 : lowered the TDS to 470ppm , she seems that it not eating so much nutrients anymore. She still drinking 3 gallons of water every single day.

The chop has arrived! This was a really long but fun grow! I do see why people don't like growing sativas it does take forever and is a difficult process! I will do another one for sure though! I will update one more time with the full harvest and weight once drying has finished. 11/21/2025 is when I started the dry in my tent! Currently 62F and 60% humidity

6/22/2022 Dropped into Ph 6.3 Added myco in water, 1 ml cal mag per gallon, just enough, soak for 24 hrs This is supposed to be a super vigorous mother plant, seeds are nice and plump. I have particular high hopes for seeds 6, 7, 8, 9 which seem bigger/better than the others. 4 is a runt. 1-3 are good sized. Five is pretty plump we will see. 6/23/2022 Start germination About 24 hours after initial drop in water, I placed each seed into a soaked Root Riot cube, and then back into the cup with its label. Placed lid back on tray, covered and back on heater. It's about 74 degrees F. Once they pop, I'll start the veg week, approximately 1-2 days. 6/25/2022 Last Day of germination, ready to pop I'm pretty verbose with my grows, some people may hate that. I like to show what I do for my own process, as well as to share with others. I put Hydroton into the bottom of the AC Infinity 1 gallon pots, like 2 inches. Then mixed Mother Earth Coco + Perlite Mix, Fox Farms Ocean Forest, earthworm castings, Dynamyco. Placed the root riot cubes into the substrate contained by the fabric pots -- misted with diluted Foop Spray, domed. Environment looks good. Seedling stage week starts tomorrow, yay.

Day 113. Girls are ok, lanky, i haven't lolitoped them, buts its one of my targets. I dont want big bus, how stupid it wouldnt sound, but if HERMIE part is ok , i dont want to give bud rot easy chance ... Its unavoidable in UK, but i bet a lot on my strategy ;)) They need water a lot, fed them a bit with bat guano, epsom salt and Great White. In an hour rain started, so everything happened on right time ! Still no signs of flowering yet ... Have visited my friends garden and all 3 RQS Royal Cookies + RQS Royal Cookies looks so much better , because of stronger wind and better light, just my friend made few mistakes. Still all alive and going strong ! Happy Growing !!!

Chop day. Everything is looking and smelling incredible. The range of smells I've got so far are: floral, grape, blueberry, gas, burnt rubber, tangerine, funk. Everything appeared fully mature beside the Cambodian x Meat Breath and Pak Man so decided this was the best time to cut them down.

Welcome friends to week 14. 8/6-12. I did defoilation last week of most of the feeder leaves. The goddesses let you know what they want and dont want. When I was defoliating, if the leaf was hesitant in coming off, don’t force it, because it will bring part of the bud with it.That being said, I have 3 small buds that came off during trim. Close up pics above. I have these drying on a fruit bowl in the kitchen and will give CBG a try in about 2 weeks. 8/6 No water today. Adjusting to yesterday’s defoliation, outside time and fertilization. This is day 106 since popping the soil on April 17. Based on the last auto flowers I grew, I anticipate these will be ready to harvest at the end of 2 weeks (Aug 19-20). I don’t know how long it takes for trichomes to start turning amber but I see almost 100% milky, just no amber yet. 8/7 I’m pushing an extra day without water and not running humidifier. This is pushing VPD higher into the excess range. I read that this stress can motivate the plant to make bigger buds. Harvest time will determine if that’s so. 8/8 Ferigate 3 gallons using TPS1 23.75ml, Signal 9.5ml, EC 1.19, PPM 820, ph 7.5. I only gave them 1 ½ liters each today. 8/9 No water. Still not seeing amber trichomes. How long will it take? 8/10 light fertilize today. 3 gallons with 15 ml TPS1, 7.5 ml Signal. Each received 1 gallon. They were in the tub so all run off went down the drain and I didn't get measurements. There was a summer storm today so I utilized the time to go thru more boxes. Interesting items that I came across: 1 grandmother's notes for colorizing black white photos. She won awards for this process. 2 grandfather's attestation to the US State land department on the improvements made on the homestead acreage. State confirmed improvements. A woman’s place was in the home. My grandmother, father and mother were all high achievers in their careers, and interests. All won awards for their achievements in work activities, teaching, and arts. This type A behavior was instilled in me from the start. In everything I did I had to be my best. I worked a variety of jobs from jewelry sales to office clerical during high school and college. Attending school and working at the same time and maintaining straight A’s is typical A behavior. I started picking up industrial psychology courses and some business. When I got into accounting, my male accounting professor said I was really good and I should consider it. The economics of business was changing. Women were breaking the glass ceiling in large corporations with more women were becoming CEO's of big corporations. So, I changed my major of study in college from science to business and accounting. I entered a difficult field. Once out of college, I started in the accounting field and remained in the same career for over 35 years. I did not have the desire to travel the world so I remained in Tidewater. My career began as an accountant responsible for payroll and accounts payable at a hospital, then went into banking. From there, I entered government accounting and finance. Over the years, I was promoted from staff accountant to manager, then director of financial reporting at Tidewater Community College (TCC). Interestingly, I came across my mom’s college yearbook. She attended Teachers College of Connecticut (TCC). My mom began her teaching career in college, and I ended my career while working in higher education. What a coincidence! My need for perfection is causing stress and anxiety since I’m having difficulties. Even though I followed the TPS1 autoflower weekly recommendations, I still overfed. This caused nutrient lock out for which I flushed with no nutrients for 3 weeks. Once I resumed 1/4-1/2 strength the required solution, I started seeing new white pistils in the existing buds. The plants are all really taking off nice bud growth and very healthy looking canopy. Plants are going through water every 3 days on the dot now. I have noticed that one plants buds are showing some purple hues but the others remain colorless so far. The Smell is really nice already. Very fruity it reminds me of fruit loops. My light is on full blast and the plants are praying nicely. There have been no signs of stress from the flip. I will likely defoliate a bit at the end of the week to make sure everything can get as much light as possible.

Weekly update on these lovely ladies. They've improved a bunch since last week as I think they needed a boost of nutes. I added some grow nutes to add some nitrogen and I think it worked. The pistols on the Colas are very cool to look and see the the flowers starting to form. All in all Happy Growing.

Day 138 / Week 9 of Flowering: Today i harvested plant #2, she was also several days ahead of plants #1 and #4. She's been flushed and has been kept in pretty dry conditions. The buds on this plant look mouthwatering 🤤, the smell is intense! The remaining 2 plants received 2l of water each, just to hold on for a few more days..
