Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. Thanks for following my grow, and I hope yours are going well too

Week 3 Flower | GMO Γ— Triangle Mints BX Week 10 overall, and this is what happy plants look like. Every top praying straight to the light β€” the result of a perfectly orchestrated combination of dialled VPD, correct nutrition, and a canopy that’s been managed with intention from day one. The defoliation work is largely done. A few leaves here and there will continue to come off all the way through flower as needed, but the heavy lifting is behind us. The canopy is open, the bud sites are getting what they need, and the structure is exactly where it should be at this stage. Far red has been stepped up to 30 minutes after lights out, and UV is now running 2 hours mid lights-on cycle β€” pushing resin production and terpene development early. The combination of far red and UV at this stage is deliberate and calculated. Plants have stretched to 100cm, lamp now sitting at 40cm distance β€” closing in as the canopy fills. Watering up to 3.3L per plant per 24h, the ladies are drinking properly now. pH steady at 6.2, EC holding at 1.8 mS/cm. Humidity at 68%, day temp 27Β°C, nights 23Β°C. The humidifier has been removed this week β€” the biomass is now transpiring enough on its own to keep humidity exactly where it needs to be. The room is running itself. Nutrient stack has made the full transition to flower: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin bumped to 1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 4.58 ml/l each, and CANNA PK 13/14 introduced at 0.25 ml/l β€” which will be gradually increased to 0.75 ml/l over the coming weeks, catering to the ever increasing demand as the ladies push deeper into flower. Feed rotation stays the same β€” two full feeds, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag. Smell is coming through β€” normal intensity for now but the profile is already hinting at what’s coming. The GMO Γ— Triangle Mints BX is starting to talk. Next update Sunday. Stay tuned.

It updated. Finally. So a week ago this was a seed. She has sprouted and is getting acclimated. She looks good. I soaked the coco, and made sure ph is adjusted right. I then proceeded to add light feed of the plagron nutrition. Which will also help keep ph stable. So everything is looking good. Thank you plagron, Medic Grow, and Zamnesia seeds. πŸ€œπŸ»πŸ€›πŸ»πŸŒ±πŸŒ±πŸŒ± Thank you grow diaries community for the πŸ‘‡likesπŸ‘‡, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channelπŸ‘‡. β„οΈπŸŒ±πŸ» Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Well, well, well, well, for being my very first exprerience in indoors i've seen it very easy, the results were not spectacular, but they are /- what i was expecting. For being the first i think it ended up very well and i have learned too much. I'm happy with de decision of growing auto strains and 1 euro seeds to do my incursion to indoors. For initiating, auto strains are an excelent choice as they don't need too many care to grow them. If you leave them, you will have a good plant, if you expend a bit of time on them (just a bit), they can became awesome plants. Now i'm going to test with photo-period strains, yesterday night the cotyledeons of 2 Dinafem Gorilla Glue and 1 Strain Hunters Money Maker were out, the other Money is still in. Soon i will start this Gorilla Vs. Money Diary (with better photo equipment and lights) . Green Cheers to everyone!!!!!

Had no issues at all with this girl.. she's growing lovely. I have removed the bigger fan leaves so the lower flower heads can catch up. I wanted yo top her but at this stage I'm not chancing it.. She's actually at 3 and a half weeks. This week maybe early next week she's due to flip into flower. So only good things to come.

the photos are all of NL#1 because that plant has all of the attention. it got transplanted, i know "dont transplant an auto".. kill me for it. anyway.. that was a HORRIBLE!!!! Experience and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND not doing this if you have no clue what you are doing. I almost lost a Plant... why was i transplanting in the first place? well first of all as a new grower what did i do? I over Fed the plants πŸ˜†.. and they were not happy. i tried flushing but that made it worse so i needed to add new soil to hopefully dilute some of the nutes. The transplant from a 5 gallon bucket was not and will never be a task for one person to do alone. some roots got ripped she got banged around a but then the entire plant went droopy and it was like hell trying to get it to stand again. NL#2 is doing okay just a flush and it is doing fine i hope.

Week 3 – Day 22 πŸ”„ Looking back: This week was full of activity! Both Mimosa Evo plants were topped and light LST was started 🌿 They also moved into their final 15L fabric pots, watered in with 2.5L each πŸ’§ πŸ’ͺ Mimosa Evo #3 is doing great – no issues at all. She's strong, healthy, and responding well to training! πŸ”§ To reduce overall stress (some strains reacted to EC 0.8–0.9), I lowered the DLI to 27. Mimosa Evo handled everything just fine, but I wanted to play it safe. πŸ“… Looking ahead to Week 4: πŸ”Ή Increase watering to 4–5L, depending on how thirsty they get πŸ”Ή I checked the root zone through the fabric pot – things look very promising πŸ‘€ πŸ”Ή LST will continue, and I might remove a few big fan leaves if needed βœ‚οΈπŸŒΏ

So another week ticked off, with all going to plan so far. Plants all responding well to training (just lst & some tactical defoliation). All are showing their first pistils so expecting them to start stretching any time now. Only plain dechlorinated ph’d water so far into my home made dry amended soil / coco / castings mix. Will top dress at the next watering and perhaps a compost tea at the end of this / start of next week. As for the smoking, I have started to smoke a little of the strawberry pie auto from last harvest which is just starting to cure. I might even prefer it to the gorilla cookies, it’s so dank. Therefore a little bit cross with myself for not including at least 1 this round. Still, first world problems I guess. Anyway thanks for reading, have a great week. 😊

Bud structure nothing like I’ve ever seen before, looking healthy And frosty though. Looks close to being ready too, will be checking the trichomes. It’s showing a super high caylax to leaf ratio. Phenotype? Not sure. Next to no nutrients during this grow.

Week 1 of flower and she started her stretch. Using General Hydroponics Trio for feed along with TPS Signal and Recharge for soil. I'm considering adding a 2nd trellis, but it depends on how the next week or two goes. Did some light and final defoliating. Could have went more but I didn't want to risk overdoing, not until I'm more experienced anyway. Plus I recommend having a plant to experiment on and take some high-reward risks concurrent with your main grow.

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Going onto week 2 of flower! These were taken dec28, so day 8 of flower. So far looking fine though a bit dehydrated. This one definitely is water hungry now and needs to be watered every other day now. We'll see how she comes along into the next few weeks. D6 of this week (d13 of flower), and we can start to see flowers coming in a teensy bit. We are still watering every 2 -3 days. On D7 we did a slightly premature feed of the flower girl fertilizer. Cheers -Dj Sunstone
