Defoliating weekly

A great week!! Chloe grew 8 inches!! Sofie grew 6!! I fed them yesterday and moved them into the flowering tent!! Looking forward to another great week... hoping they adapt to the new environment! Also, I can't believe they started flowering so early!! Unbelievable!! Otherwise, steady as she goes!

3 autos are getting cut this week probably the last watering today. The other 4 are a few weeks behind. The big Photos are straight monsters Ethos genetics are amazing 👏. They are in week 2 since flip. The small photos are around week 5 or 6 veg they just got put under their own light for the first time SF7000 doing 50% at about 22" just to see how they react to the new light. They were also translated and topped yesterday.

🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸– Week 5 – Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) Week 5 Summary This week didn’t go as planned. I switched nutrients, and the plant didn’t respond well, possibly due to overfeeding. I probably should have transitioned more gradually to avoid stressing it. Nutrient Issue • Previously used: Formulex • New nutrient: Ionic Hydro Grow • Possible cause: Ionic Hydro Grow has a higher concentration of nutrients than Formulex. The sudden increase may have stressed the plant. • Symptoms: The new leaves are showing signs of damage, which could indicate nutrient burn. Typically, deficiencies affect older leaves first, so it seems more like an excess—but I can’t say for sure. Corrective Actions • Diluted the nutrient solution to lower the EC. • Initial EC: 2.6+ (but my tap water already has a high EC, so the actual nutrient EC is hard to determine). • New EC: Below 2, but again, since my starting EC is high (around 0.8-0.9), it’s difficult to get an exact reading of the nutrient contribution. • pH adjusted to 5.9-6.0. Current Conditions • Light schedule: 18 hours • Humidity: 70% • pH: 5.9-6.0 • EC: Below 2 (but actual nutrient EC remains uncertain). Next Steps • Observe the plant and see if it recovers. • Adjust the next nutrient mix carefully to avoid overfeeding. • Continue light training (LST), but growth has slowed due to stress. Hopefully, the plant will bounce back. Not really much to say this week all 10 are growing fine with no problems at all I Will keep removing the larger fan leaves as I go along, I do this in order to try and get as much light to the bottom branches as I can before I switch them to 12/12. This will hopefully keep the canopy as even as it can be without having to do to much training or topping. Day 34 - Looking abit skinny and after the defoliation, but had to remove the middle growth and large fan leaves to get light to them bottom branches and new growth tips. I’m aiming to keep them small and bushy

19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. This consists of the following substrate and dry amendments: ♡ 60% Canna coco ♡ 20% Worm castings ♡ 15 % Perlite The remaining 5% consists of the following dry amendments;- ♡ 10g Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1 Tsp RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 3 Tsp Vitalink Bat guano ♡ 4 Tsp Diatomaceous earth ♡ 8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon ♡ 10g Green Leaf Bud Booster PK booster. ♡ 3 Tsp Ecothrive Life Cycle. •Worm castings for some all round nutrition. •Cinnamon for mildew and bug repellent. •Canna coco base substrate. •Perlite for adding oxygen to the root and soil system. •Green Leaf Bud Booster PK Booster for blooming. Building strong big buds. •Vitalink bat guano again for Bloom. •RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules, to boost beneficial microbes. •Ecothrive Life Cycle for lots of great benefits. •Diatomaceous earth for Silica. •Ecothrive Biosys, for an extra microbial boost. Vegetation Phase - Week 4 The Donutz ladies are cruising through Week 4 in style, with no major changes to their routine. Simplicity is the key: just consistent care, reverse osmosis water, and keeping the vibes steady in the tent. Growth is strong and steady, with no signs of stress or issues. Updates & Maintenance: Watering: Still exclusively using RO water. No overwatering, just light and consistent hydration as needed. Lollipopping: The plants got a little cleanup this week. Lower growth was trimmed back again, keeping the stems neat and focusing energy on the upper canopy. This helps maintain that signature Sea of Green look and primes the plants for fat main colas later. Observations: The plants are uniform, healthy, and stacking nicely. Each one is starting to show its individual character, but they’re all working toward that tight SOG canopy. Marienkäfer buddy is still around, keeping the ecosystem in balance. No pest issues, no drama. Next Steps: It’s all about staying steady and letting the Donutz do their thing. The lollipopping ensures the plants are focused on upward growth, and the stable environment in the tent is creating the perfect conditions for success. Week 5 is around the corner, and everything’s looking set for these plants to keep stacking up!

This week we start in to the stretch....

Day 72 - Into week 11 now and gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. Overall she’s doing really well and budding up nicely. She’s already extremely frosty and looking forward to the next few weeks to see what she does at the end. Day 73 - No real issues and nothing much else going on with the girl right now. Just took her out of the tent for some updated pictures and tucked a few leaves when I put her back for more light penetration. Day 74 - Nothing much new really happening today. She’s frosty as hell and budding up nicely. She’s got another couple of days before she needs any sort of water or nutes but I’ll check in her tomorrow and if she needs some, I’ll give her some. Day 75 - Nothing much to speak of with her right now. She got 2 gallons of water and nutes today and her buds are really looking gorgeous. She’s probably the strongest smelling plant that I’ve grown so far. Day 76 - Almost the end of week 11 and all is good. Not much happening right now but did defoliate a few giant fan leaves. Other than that, just enjoying her smell and watching her swell. Day 77 - It’s the last day of week 11 and she’s doing great. Not much really going on, she’s stacking buds and continuing to frost up even more than the beginning of the week. She should need some water and nutes by the end of the weekend. All in all it looks like this is gonna be a very easy trim for once.

Currently checking daily and tying away branches/leaves to give the buds more light and watering when the soil is dry. Currently my plants drink exactly 1,5L a day. I have the feeling that the right plant is lacking a bit of potassium. I'll leave everything as it is for now because the left plant (fresh new soil) is growing well. Since the right plant is quite bushy anyway, I'll defoliate it again later and remove any lower shoots. I started adding the Bio PK booster towards the middle of the first week of flowering, 2ml per liter of water; as the pH value drops too much, I correct it upwards with Biobizz pH up - from pH 5.5 to 6.5 for 3L, I add a total of 39 drops. My water is mixed as follows: 3L osmosis water, plus 6ml CalMag, 6ml BioPK 5-8 and 39 drops of pH + BioBizz.

One plant showing moderate magnesium deficiency. The other 2 plants are looking good, with one other plant also have slight magnesium deficiency. I will up the cal-mag for them next feed.

She has grow well with some nice buds

I'm not applying any type of training to this lady,she has performed a big stretch in her first week of flower,looks absolutely gorgeous,sometime she es tress a little with heat. However the super soil she's living in and the lactobacillus liquid I make homemade is helping her so much,it's a pleasure to see her every morning

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. 29/3 the grapefruit is coming along nicely, buds actually smell like grapefruit! Lsd is so impressive! it’s on fire! The west coast ogs are still quite a bit behind..looking online, a lot of people seem to get these buds growing huge! Hopefully they get there.. BCN critical xxl popped 1 day after the LSD but has been the slowest to flower..It's just going into flower now. Light has been at 75% for the last week or so and is at around 23inches above. Have been feeding all plants alternating water/feed/water/feed 1 litre every 2-3 days. So far so good! 4/4 bcn critical xxl isn’t looking very happy at all..she’s fully flowering now but all of her new growth has been loooking droopy for the last week…not too sure what’s up there..
