This end week 4 flowering last defoliation happy growing

1/29/24 - Beginning of week. Looked good, was planning on letting it go another week but within a day the top leaves started turning yellow all over and I started seeing amber, just a few but spread out all over the plant, so last minute decision to harvest on 1/31/24.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... I'm very happy with the results, I'm also about to add a dimmable sf1000 for more power. I'll soon introduce microvita topcrop to improve the soil. ==Update Sept. 25== I added a dimmable sf1000 in addition to the sf1000d, which I set to 80%. We'll see how the plants react. The 221 m3/h extractor is coming soon, adjustable. Temperatures are 27-29 degrees with 58-60% humidity. I currently have a 130 m3/h extractor.

Flowering Day 3: This lady has been continuing to impress with her fight to be top dog. Her flowering is well underway now and i am hopeful she will produce better than her mother. I fed her too much N as she was part of a res supplied feed that i couldnt lower for her finish as i still had too many that needed full strength. Seeing her structure after the quad has already given her a better chance of more mains and the node spacing is way better than her mom. The actual Flowers are a nice ball shape emerging from the tops too. These should hopefully become the baseball bats advertised in the sales patter ! Surely One of us on here will get a good pheno of this strain?????

Terrible week. Day 43 - No sign of over-fed. They are doing great regardless the ppm so I checked online and found out the ppm In organic soil could be higher and it's normal. Anyhow, I gave my plants plain PHed water after the fed, and the run off is about 1800ppm. I think I will remain around this ppm for coming weeks. Day 45 - Half of the Led broke. Day 46 - Gave them natural sunlight. Accidentally broke the main stem :(((( Day 47 - New Light, New Tent! (It's BloomPlus BP-1500 light)

BB2 and GG2 seem to be about a week ahead of the other two. Those two showed the deficiencies. Seems to have quite a few bud sites. About the same watering and fertilizer routine as previous week.

Day 21 - Ladies are looking nice & healthy! Everything seems to be going great, one is still growing a little slow but all in all extremely happy with this grow so far! This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!
