Grow Diary – Day 88 (Flowering Day 68) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding Bio Line – finished Lighting: LED at 50% (final phase) Date: June 8 Status: Harvest Day After 68 days of flowering and 88 days total, the Sour Frootz have reached full maturity. Today marked harvest day. Trichome Check: A final inspection confirmed the ideal moment—mostly cloudy trichomes with 10% amber, delivering the perfect mix of potency, flavor, and effect for me. Buds are fully resinous, and carry an intensely rich aroma: sour fruit, citrus, and that underlying gassy funk Sour Frootz is known for. Harvest Process: • Whole-plant harvested • Plants were cut at the base, intact, and hung upside down • Leaves were left on for a slow dry to protect terpene profile and promote even moisture loss • Drying environment set to ~17–19 °C with 50–60% RH • Complete darkness and steady airflow maintained This method should allow for a 7–14 day dry, depending on bud density and ambient conditions. After drying, a slow cure in jars will follow to fully develop smoothness, flavor, and complexity. Final Notes: • No signs of mold, pests, or stress at harvest • Natural fade complete; plants finished cleanly after flush • Aroma at harvest is deep and terpene-rich • Resin content is heavy – scissors and gloves were coated during harvest Next Steps: Drying will be monitored daily. Day 27 today plants look ready to stretch fully Into flower. Or at least I hope so. They don't look so healthy , I have changed soil which I'm already regretting. Today and top dressed each plant with 10g each of Greenhouse feed bio bloom.

The cherry cola at the front stretched more this week, theres no room left in the tent so hopefully thats its vertical height achieved, had a minor problem with the autopot valve on the banana punch blocked with dirt so I replaced it with a spare, started using pk 13/14 in the rez yesterday, Not much else going on this week, humidity is still high but dropping, hoping the 2 front plants start focusing on bud production this week.

Hey friends, end of week 13 from seed. A big incident happened this week, I had 3 clones growing in the same tent. I had placed them on some cardboard boxes so they could be closer to the light. Woke up one morning and saw all 3 plants on the floor, pots fell on plant #1 and destroyed 2 stems on the bottom, they had some small buds formed already. I chopped the 2 stems and hanged them up for drying, I left all the leaves on, did no trimming. After 3 days, buds were dry, smelled like plant and bud combined, not too pleasant. I couldn't resist to try it out, so I crushed some on my vape. It kicked in as a sativa, eyes got weak, head high, it slowly starts to give you a appetite and after 40 mins, you want to sleep, overall it felt like a sativa - Hybrid. The taste at the beginning was not very pleasant I guess because these buds were not ready for harvest yet and I did not flush them. Will need to do more research on harvesting / drying and curing. 1- how dry to should the buds be before curing? 2- is it better to trim leaves before or after drying for a better taste? Noticed some amber on trichomes Will begin to flush in week 14 Smell is stronger Leaves are slowly fading to a different color Will keep you guys posted!

When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. Smells are getting prettt strong tbh, PKB is very grapey and gassy, washing machine is pure black licorice, BCS doesn’t have much nose and blue dream is creamy blueberry pastry. Spotted some stamen on the top of the blue dream, I’ll see how she finishes out. I love the smell and bud size and next round is being topped properly instead of just supercropping.
