Week 16: *whewww* well technically this is the first full week of Flower... I followed the directions and went to 18/6 for "Early Flower".. but in the future I will refer to this as pre-flower and will start this about a month before going into Flower... I think this helps make the flip more pronounced and will help with a more consistent flower in my tent. Who knows tho? We do see pistils - so that's exciting... and tbh I was saying we vegged for too long.. but who knows, maybe we will have an extensive root system and will be able to support larger buds! Nothing is really a loss at this point, and I will say I'm even learning more about myself. I'm a thinker I like to process things, I like doing it with people.. and I don't mind making mistakes... but I rather them be calculated.. So I know what to do or not to do in the future... I'm realizing my partner is more of a tinkerer.. he always has big ideas and likes to use his energy to move toward them.... I think we complement each other because my thoughts would've led me toward stopping the growth of this project a long time ago.. but I'm happy it's still going!

The Cookie Girls are doing great 😊 Overall, I’m very pleased with the results so far. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. At day 12 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, while I tucked, I snapped more than a couple of tops off, but the plant continues to thrive. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. KL 08.00. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Kl 10.00 Tested PH in the soil, it was 6.9 and tested my tap water and it was 6.8. Added a video of the girls, its 10 H after defoliation, LST and leaftucking. I think its looking good. Kl 22.30. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. In total the two plants harvested 91,3 grams. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and the dried weed carries the flavor of this aroma also in the smoke! VERY PEACHY! All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎.

I'm amped up about these 6 Gotti Ogs and these 2 Downtown Finest Og strains, there growing fast eating a lot and the weather is great in Cali. These indoor veg and outdoor flower is really working well for me. I'm using Flora nova bloom and there booming

Lets start off with the Gas lantern lighting technique, this was invented in the 1800's I believe, by hemp farmers. if you give the cannabis light for 1 hour in the middle of the night, then you will keep it from going into flower. So if you leave the lights on for 12 hours, then darkness for 5.5 hours then 1 hour of light then 5.5 more hours of darkness. This will give you the growth of a 18 hour light day but you will only use 13 hours of electricity. Plants are more rested, faster growth and tighter node spacing. Overall very advantageous. It generally shortens veg by 2 weeks. the Jobes organics 4-4-4 is 17g per gallon, Above measurement system would not allow this. Will start LST and FIMing once plants have settled from transplant. Added extra Silica to boost available Si until microbes can catch up and degrade the vermiculite properly.

Just a phenomenal plant from start to finish. For a first grow yielding 160g is just mind blowing. Very easy to grow long veg period so windows of LST are large enough to have room for error. Lots of Defoliation needed and at its peak was drinking 6 Litres of water a day.

Flowering Week 5 23.02.2026 - 02.03.2026

last week of vegetative growth and we are ready for flowering !! The plants look healthy and I gave them some more nitrogen to prepare them for the 12/12 change! I'm excited I can't wait! I prepared some clones hoping to be able to root and gorilla plants again !! I also did a little defoliation! What do you guys think? Grazie mille 😘😘

Weekly update on these lovely ladies. This week has been fun to watch the flowers form and swell. They definitely are starting to smell, as soon as you open the tent it hits you like a ton of bricks. I'll be doing my final dedoliation this week taking off some of the bigger fan leafs allowing more light to the lower flower sites. All in all Happy Growing
