Week 13 from Seed | Ghost Train Haze (12/12 From Seed) The Queen of the Room Week 13 from seed marks a special point in this run, and for this update the spotlight belongs to one plant in particular — the undeniable queen of the room. This Ghost Train Haze has been the outlier from the beginning. Same treatment, same schedule, same root space, same 12/12-from-seed approach as the rest of the room — but she chose her own direction early and never looked back. No veg, no special treatment, no extra time. Just pure expression. And she expressed big. At nearly 1.8 meters tall, she became the tallest plant in the room by a comfortable margin, stretching far beyond her sisters and building into a true vertical queen. Her main cola is massive, dominant, and impossible to ignore, but what makes her impressive is that the rest of the plant actually kept pace. This isn’t just one oversized top and a weak frame underneath — the entire structure followed through beautifully, with strong secondary flower sites and consistent development all the way down. She’s tall. She’s heavy. And she earned every yo-yo holding her up. At this point, support is no longer optional. The main cola carries serious weight, but so do the side branches, and by now most of the plant is being assisted to keep everything upright and stable. Late flower is no longer about shaping — it’s about holding the frame together long enough to finish properly. And she’s finishing beautifully. The flower set is now fully mature, with long, dense spears stacking hard and resin production spreading well beyond the tops. Frost coverage is exceptional this week, and the plant has clearly shifted out of “building” and into “ripening.” Calyxes are swelling, resin heads are multiplying, and the entire plant is beginning to wear that late-flower look that tells you the end is close. Not finished. But clearly approaching it. One of the clearest signs is in the fade. The yellow and orange tones now starting to move through the fan leaves are exactly what we want to see at this stage. With nutrients pulled back and only enzymes remaining in the water, the plant is now doing what late flower plants are supposed to do: consuming what remains, mobilizing stored energy, and redirecting everything toward the flowers. This is not deficiency. This is senescence. A controlled, expected end-of-cycle fade. The enzymes are helping break down residual material in the substrate, keeping the root zone active and clean while the plant finishes using what it already has available. The color shift in the leaves is the visual confirmation of that transition — less energy going into maintaining foliage, more energy going into finishing flower. And she’s responding exactly as hoped. This week also carried a fitting bit of atmosphere: the Red Moon. A small visual moment, but a very appropriate one. The timing lined up perfectly with where the room is now — because the room itself has begun to turn red too. At this stage, spectrum is being pushed more heavily toward red than white. The room is no longer being driven for broad vegetative energy or aggressive structural development. Now the goal is simpler: guide the final stage, support ripening, and let the plants finish under a warmer, more flower-forward spectrum. That shift is visible immediately in the room. The red dominance is stronger now, the whites are less prominent, and the overall environment has taken on that unmistakable late-cycle tone. Alongside that, the end-of-day far-red treatment remains in place — roughly 15 minutes after lights-off — used here as part of the final flowering approach to gently support the plant through the transition into night and help reinforce that end-of-cycle signal. Nothing extreme. Just small spectral nudges in the right direction. And the room is responding fast. She is still drinking well, though intake has begun to slow slightly — which is expected now. Uptake remains strong enough to show she is still active, still moving, still finishing with intent, but the pace is beginning to taper as she shifts closer to the line. That makes this week less about intervention and more about observation. Right now, trichomes are the real clock. This is the stage where structure, density, and visual appeal matter less than resin maturity. Frost levels are already excellent, but the harvest window will be decided by the heads, not the shine. For this run, the target remains the same: mostly cloudy trichomes, a light touch of amber, and still a few clear heads remaining. That balance still isn’t fully here yet. She is moving fast, but not finished fast. The room is alive, the room is accelerating, and she is clearly entering the final phase — but the resin still needs a little more time to land exactly where we want it. Elsewhere in the room, this week also brought the arrival of the Bubbleator — a welcome addition, and one that will soon have its role to play. Not for this queen, but for one (or maybe two) of her sisters headed toward ice water and a different kind of finish. That part comes next, and it’ll be shared properly when the time comes. For now, all eyes stay here. What to expect next week: more swelling, more fade, heavier terp expression, slightly slower drinking, and trichomes becoming the only metric that really matters. What not to expect: major changes, last-minute corrections, or unnecessary interference. At this stage, the work is mostly done. Now it’s about patience, timing, and letting the plant complete what she already started. As always — love to everyone following along. The longtime growers, the new eyes, the curious, the skeptics, the quiet supporters, the quick stoppers, the day-ones, the lurkers, the lovers, and even the haters. Hi Growmies, Luckily she has made full recovery, in the tank below and up top :). OST of the root growth I. Observing, I would attribute to the combination of orca, rhizotonic and cannazym. Mainly the orca though ;). I will minimum give her 1–2 more weeks max until I flip her, as it feels like she should have a fairly short flowering phase. Overall she is looking very lush and healthy again, but still has some catching up to do. Here is the code that’ll give you 20% in Zamnesia‘s online store, just input ZAMMIGD2023 at checkout. Thanks for stepping by and until next week!

Gave them their monthly feeding a few days into first week of flower with Gaia Green organic dry amendment slow release fertilizer. It really has allowed me to focus solely on watering technique and grow environment without worrying about over/ under fertilization. Plants and I love the product! Posting an update tomorrow of end of week 1 flower pre-flower. Cheers 🍻

Cheese XXL is the third commercially available edition released by Original Sensible using and developing these Afghan and Skunk genetics. The first release of these genetics was their Skunk Afghani. The second improved version was Stinkin' Bishop which had an improved and more potent THC content and was more pungent in terms of smell. Now the third and improved release on a similar theme is this Cheese XXL which has a similar THC content but with an improved heavier yield. The smoke is incredible with an outstanding flavour of pungent skunk and spicy, extra strong mature cheese created by the dominant terpene myrcene with its strong earthy scent accompanied by caryophyllene and pinene which combine to create a peppery acrid cheesy odour. THC levels are exceptionally high in this Cheese strain and the effect is well-balanced creating mental and body relaxation with a remarkable alleviation of stress and depression. The strong pungent aroma starts early in the flowering period, if you're growing Cheese XXL indoors you'll need plenty of ventilation to disperse the stinky "road kill" aroma of these babies! Cheese XXL is a Cheese strain particularly suited to indoor setups but also thriving well outdoors these feminised marijuana seeds are incredibly resistant to mould and disease and produce a substantial harvest that both the professional and amateur growers alike can easily achieve. These Cheese weed seeds are outstanding, break open the buds ready for use and you'll see why, the stench will make your eyes water! Cheese XXL from Original Sensible Seeds is a great choice to break into the commercial market of growing cannabis so if you're looking to buy something special with extreme yield, potency and flavour then Cheese XXL cannabis seeds are simply the best choice

Week 2 – Rapid Growth and Key Adjustments Another Friday, another update! It’s been an exciting week in the grow tent, and the plants are showing some serious progress. They've nearly doubled in height and are now spreading out to fill the pots, making it clear that these FastBuds seeds really live up to their name. After seeing how quickly they’ve grown, it’s easy to understand where the "fast" comes from! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 70% -VPD: Max 1.0 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 18 hours light / 6 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) -Watering Schedule: -Day 8: 100ml -Day 10: 300ml -Day 12: 500ml ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adjusting the Light Distance Early in the week, I noticed two of the leaves were showing slight stress due to being too close to the light. The leaves were slightly deformed, and it was clear they weren’t happy with the intense light exposure. After adjusting the light distance to a safer height, the plants began to recover. However, while the stressed leaves improved gradually throughout the week, they’ve retained some of those early deformations. Thankfully, every leaf that grew after that has been perfectly healthy and vibrant, which confirmed that the issue was indeed the light being too close. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Observing the Rapid Growth The early days were exciting as the plants seemed to grow rapidly, but at first, they felt fragile, with their thin, delicate stems struggling to hold up the weight of the new leaves. It almost seemed like they might topple over at any moment. However, by the end of Week 2, they’ve transformed into sturdy, small trees. Their once fragile stems are now solid little trunks, and it’s amazing to see how much stronger they appear. Not only have the stems thickened, but the plants have also developed an abundance of leaves. In just a few days, they’ve gone from having four small leaves to over ten broad, healthy leaves per plant. It's incredible to witness how quickly they’re packing on foliage. Every day, it seems like there’s something new happening – more leaves, more structure, and a visibly stronger plant. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- No Noticeable Difference Between Strains (Yet!) Interestingly, as of now, I can’t see any major differences between the three Amnesia Zkittlez and the single Gorilla Cookies plant. As a beginner, they’re growing at a similar rate and look so alike that if I hadn’t labeled them, I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart! Luckily, everything is organized and clearly marked, so when the differences do start to show, I’ll be ready to observe them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watering Progress By Day 10, the plants were continuing to thrive, so I increased the water intake to 300ml per plant. The plants adapted well, showing no signs of overwatering or nutrient deficiency. Two days later, on Day 12, I upped the watering amount again to 500ml per plant. Even with this larger amount of water, the plants have been absorbing it perfectly. There’s been no excess water draining from the pots, which is a great sign. The soil remains slightly moist underneath, indicating that the roots are successfully drawing water from deeper layers. Now, on Friday evening, it’s been 48 hours since the last watering, and the soil is still holding moisture. It looks like I can wait until tomorrow (Day 15) to water again. The soil is still slightly moist at the bottom of the pots, showing that the roots are reaching deep enough to access the water. The plants themselves look strong and healthy, so everything seems to be on track! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PH Levels and Future Fertilization Until now, I’ve been relying on the pH readings from our local water provider, trusting their reports to guide me. However, to ensure I have more precise control over the growing conditions, I’ve invested in a BlueLab pH pen. This will allow me to accurately measure the pH of the water myself and make sure everything is perfectly dialed in for the plants. Even though I initially planned not to use any fertilizers, I’ve decided to start using nutrients next week. I’ll be following the Biobizz feeding schedule, incorporating BioGrow, BioBloom, and TopMax into my routine. This decision came after observing how fast the plants are growing and realizing that they could benefit from a nutrient boost to ensure continued healthy development. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Optimizing With AC Infinity and Looking Ahead Throughout the week, I’ve been relying heavily on the automated settings from the AC Infinity App, which has been a lifesaver for someone like me who’s still learning the ropes. Other than reducing the air intake and airflow to keep the humidity high at this early stage, I haven’t had to manually adjust much. The system has been doing a great job maintaining the environment, with 70% humidity, a VPD under 1.0, and consistent temperatures between 25-26°C during the day and 22°C at night. There’s still a lot to learn, and I’ve heard from other growers that AutoFlowers can handle 24 hours of light or even 20/4, but for now, I’m sticking with the more traditional 18/6 light schedule recommended by AC Infinity. I’ll keep observing and might experiment with different light cycles in the future. As I move forward into Week 3, I’m eager to see how the plants will continue to grow and evolve. With each passing day, I’m learning more about their needs and how to fine-tune the environment to keep them happy. So far, they’ve been thriving, and I can’t wait to see what’s next on this journey. FastBuds certainly lives up to the name, and if the first two weeks are any indicator, I’m in for an exciting ride! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections Looking back, I’m honestly surprised at how quickly I’ve become immersed in this process. What started as a curiosity has quickly turned into a rewarding experience. Every day I learn something new, whether it’s adjusting light distances, managing water intake, or monitoring humidity levels. There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing the results of your efforts in real time – from those first fragile sprouts to the sturdy plants I have now. As a complete beginner, I was unsure how well I’d manage everything, but seeing the plants thrive has given me a lot of confidence. I realize that growing is just as much about patience as it is about action. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead, but I’m already enjoying the journey. For anyone starting out, it’s all about learning and adapting – and, most importantly, enjoying the process!

The autos are flowering and just loving the sun. They are drinking daily. What a difference the sun makes. The others are moving soon. Gorilla is ready. Slurricane is ready to be cloned. So I must find time to set up the cloner. Maybe I'll go old school with it. Once I top her she will start branching. This is what we need more clones. I've been having trouble with seeds, got some more coming. I just dont have the time or energy to take care of them. That is obviously the problem here. The fluctuating humidity from 10% to 99% doesn't help.

Good bud and visible trichome development.😍 Stretch seems to be slowing down by the end of this week. Another round of MegaWorm and Guano powder spread on the soil this week. Temperatures and and watering needs are increasing as the light is set to 100% this week. 160W of LED on about a third of a square meter should push these plants to some nice yields.🙌
