Hello everyone. The week went well, our girl is growing, enjoying a diet of 2000 ppm. On December 17.12. 2023, we'll switch the light to 12/12, it's time to start flowering. We took clones from our girl on December 10.12, 2023. The clones look healthy, but I haven't seen any roots yet, so I'm not sure whether to switch our girl to flowering or wait a bit longer. Hello this is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of veg. These girls seem a little wilty, The soil is wet. I think the light might be a bit too strong for them. It's at 45% I'll turn it down 5% and see how they are tomorrow. They look good though. Nice green leaves. I'm topping them this week to get more tops going. And they get a tomato cage each too, to push the branches out and something to tie the big bud to. OK. Have Fun Out There. Chuck.

WEEK 3 FLOWERING (a flowering week is 5 days) Today some leaves are showing signs of nutes deficiency, maybe POTASSIUM (K) deficiency (see photos and comment if you know better) so I decided to begin a more nutes consistent flowering program with 1.42 EC I never mentioned before, but I areate every water feeding with an air pump (check the video) Will update soon! 🌱

Back to moving the plant in and outside. Bad weather coming up😕 This week was average, a few good sunny days but also cold nights. Started up with the green sensation and alga bloom. There are fan leaves that are showing a pretty quick yellowing. Not so healthy and green anymore now 😁This is maximum week 5 of flowering so it's a bit too soon to be losing leaves like that.. I'm Thinking she has a N defenciy because I barely gave grow nutrients since it was in the soil for the first 6 weeks. Second thing is a lack of light for those leaves. the Alga Bloom has N in it so I hope they revocer it a bit. The leaves on the buds themselves look good so it's probably the plant using the leaves for nutrients in this stage. Let me know what u guys think....? Update, look at the video, dirty bugs😠😠😠 caterpillars I think🤔 took away some infested leaves. And some of those fuckers. Hope it doesn't get worse Buds are starting to thickening, she has a little smell on her too by now. They already have some brown pistils on them. Nice plant but I hope the yellowing doesn't go to fast. 1,5L water with 4ml alga bloom and 1ml of green sensation was given this week. Will continue to give this for the next 3 to 4 weeks. My new grow pros solutions under canopy lights are really making the colors pop

I have put them through stress by constantly trimming, I have did some topping and low stress training. I tried leaf tucking but plants were so bushy that no light was able penetrate the canopy. I did everything that I was told not to just to expirement with the girls.

Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load.
