Flowering Week 3 The stretch is officially over, and the plant has settled at around 55 cm. Buds are stacking nicely, with an impressive number of bud sites and an exceptional amount of frost for such an early stage of flowering. Minor pest damage is still present, but overall the plant remains extremely healthy and vigorous—now it’s simply a matter of feeding consistently and letting her do the rest.

Start 12/10/2020 Finish 23/1/2021 I grow outdoors and use organic farming so there isn't too much to say. I just want to talk about a few things about strain: - Odor: not strong and very pleasant, I think it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor planting, but difficult to detect by the smell. - Bud: strong, many trichromes and fast growing. - Color: both plants and buds are green. - Height: short trees - Yield: good (because my country usually shines on 12/12 in sunlight, so plants grow slowly and bloom early so the output will not be high). Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Week 10 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers Seems like she's finally settled in her new pot as the new growth is pushing back in, she's getting wider for sure. I've been defoliating a little here & there just the stuff not getting any light on the bottom. Wont be topping for a while now really going to let her do her thing for a while before any thing else is done to her. She's still getting fed FPJ. 😎

Started watering 2x a day a few days into week 6. Starting today I will be watering 3x a day as two just wasn't enough. Plants looked like they wanted more. Outgrowing my 2x2 tent for sure. Underestimated coco as in soil I was able to fit 4 autos in this tent. Lower branches aren't getting much light as the top half a of plant just shot up like crazy last week. No room to bend the lower branches down. Not sure what to cut off at this point lol

Day 57- Did a light defoliation. RO water at 66 PPM. Running until more Ambers pop. Day 58- checked trichromes, ambers are showing up in clumps, I’d say about 15-20% amber trichs at the moment. PPM 55. Day 60: 4-5 day flush brings me to harvest. Cut down both plants, light trim of larger fan leaves and placed in tent. I used 2 scrog nets to hang the buds, worked ok, need to make tighter next time... too much droops! So far, First 24 hours of tent at 68 F and 70% humidity. At 48 hours 67F and reduced to 60% humidity At 72 hours 69 F and reduced to 55% humidity, maintaining till dry. Trying to get temps a little lower but no A/C... Trying to stretch drying time close to 14 days. Anything after 7 and I’m happy.

Do not pay attention to the temperature on the thermometer in the middle, it lies by a couple of degrees. I have a good thermometer on top of the box that shows the temperature. Day 29: After a terrible fracture, we see that the plant is beginning to recover. I'm honestly disappointed because it makes it very difficult for me to train mainlining and it will also increase the amount of time it takes to grow. Day 30: It looks much better already, I could superprune the right branch, but I don't want to stress it. I will try to bend the right branch harder, I will bend the left one a little in the morning the next day, maybe early. Day 31: This morning I cut the lower leaves, photo in the evening and continued the LST training after the injury. Photo in the evening. Day 32: I am completely sure that the plant has moved away from the stress, but we can see on the left circle, the right bud (and side) slowed growth. Day 34: I saw traces of salt on the tips of the new leaves, so now I pour water with regular 15 PPM.
