Day 1 Nov 26
Started with 4 seeds germinating. One seed didn't crack with paper towel method and another got stuck in shell. so germinated last seed few days after
Was originally going to build a flood table but ended up with the Flora flex watering system several weeks into grow. Watered with nutes every other day.
Growth was slow first week or so. Wasn't giving nutes and I think it set them back a bit
Humidifier broke end of week one. Haven't got around to getting new one. Plants seem happy. Think I wasn't feeding enough and lights were a bit too low
Still didn't replace humidifier. Next week for sure. Been playing with the light height. Still havent figured out a good height or wattage as I build the light with a dimmer. Can't remember when I repotted lol.
Watering till runoff about 10 to 20%
Sorry phots are kind of scattered but better then none. I had my light too low around 12inches at 60w. I know it's a short compact strain but nodes were just too close. Backed it off to 18inches which seemed to do the trick
This week is when I added the Flora flex auto watering system. Beats hand watering any day. What an upgrade for a $100
Watering till runoff about 10 to 20%
What a smell coming off these babies in veg. Had to turn fan on with filter. Stinking up my house without it. Plants are doing great with scheduled auto water and now lights being at 18 inches at 70w. Didn't realize how intense these lights were. Still short and stalky but starting to stretch now. Showing minimal pistills in 2 of 4 plants. Will start flowering in week 6
Runoff till about 20%. 1500EC in reservoir. Runoff is around that range so all is good. Topped 3 out of 4 plants this week. Was just going to bend main stalk but not much room to do so.
Slowly going into flower. I mean real slow lol. It's showed some pistills about a week ago and still you really have to look for them a week later. My veg lights are 5700k and are on 24/7. Guna let them stretch a bit more and flip to my flower light's 3500k and change time to 20/4 sometime this week
Started watering 2x a day a few days into week 6. Starting today I will be watering 3x a day as two just wasn't enough. Plants looked like they wanted more. Outgrowing my 2x2 tent for sure. Underestimated coco as in soil I was able to fit 4 autos in this tent. Lower branches aren't getting much light as the top half a of plant just shot up like crazy last week. No room to bend the lower branches down. Not sure what to cut off at this point lol
Well going good so far. Kinda thought I had zinc lockout due to adding too much ph down (phosphorous) to the res rising every other day to 6.5ish. I have a bubbler and a water pump running in there. Gave them a flush of 2l each PhD water with calmag. Looking a bit better hopefully fixes soon
Finally got a bigger tent. They are much happier. Almost seems like it put them fully into flowering. I'm feeding around 1200 ec but the runoff keeps climbing to almost double. I will flush to about 800. Within a few days it's back up to 2000 Ec. Am I missing something here??
Rough weekend for the girls. They seem to be pretty happy overall but Ph fluctuation in reservoir and mad salt build up in coco. Ended up flushing on day 62 with....
32 litres Total (8L each)
40ml white vinegar
75ml Enzymes Complete (cleaning agent)
Day 65- plants EC runoff is back at a normal level. Feeding 1300EC. runoff is at about 900EC. Going to wait a few more days and monitor runoff before upping the nutes again.
Purchased Drip Clean to help with salt build up. Great reviews so let's see how it does. Should have flushed weeks ago. Oh well.
All WAS well until I noticed severe foxtailing I guess you would call it on 2 of the girls :(. This leads me to believe it can be 3 possible reasons. My thermostat was mostly between 70-75 the past two weeks I'd say
I added a cheap heater BC my temps were steady in the mid to high 60s. Thermostat isnt the best and I opened the tent twice where the temp was at 86, for how long who knows. I check my tent several times a day tho.
Im running Bridgelux led strips which I brought up to 140watt last week at 15inches from canopy from the tallest branch. Doesn't seem like much at all for a 3x3 tent so I'm not sure about that. Brought it back down to 120W just in case
Not enough air flow. I had one computer fan (100cfm) running in one corner. That I had in my 2x2 tent which seemed to be sufficient. I forgot I was over doubling the space in the 3x3. Added another 2 fans.
From what I read there's no turning back from this issue. I hope I read wrong lol. Gave a nice heavy feeding of B52 aswell. Any comments would be greatly appreciated
Everything seems to be back in order besides the foxtailing dilemma on 2 of the plants. Ive never grown 4 same strains that were so far apart in days of flower. With the flora flex auto feed it's difficult BC of the certain additives are asked to feed in certain weeks. So I've been hand watering a few days week with AN overdrive for the plant closest to harvest
Ive noticed B52 and Nirvana cloud up the reservoir big time. So I've been hand watering those aswell in between feedings
Also been flushimg with around 700ec. Got the Runoff finally down to 1200-1300ec. Having to keep runoff on the higher side at 20% or more
Sooo... Found out I have a case of springtails. I used House and Garden coco. Going to try Canna next run I'm guessing they came in the coco. I don't know how else I would get them. Plants are healthy so I'm not too worried. There are many strains from what I hear some good some bad. Hopefully mine are the good type lol
Buds are fattening up nicely besides the one plant that's suffering from severe foxtailing.
Going to start flushing one plant with 300ec for the next week or so as I'm starting to see some amber trichromes on sugar leaves on top bud sites. Put a vice grip on the two hoses feeding the plant. Going to be watering once a day by hand for the flush.
Slow but steady pace here. Going to cut 1 plant next weekend. Last few days will be just PhD rain water as opposed to 300ec. Other 3 plants still have majority clear trichomes
Well. I cut down one plant. Didn't do a wet weight. Few amber trichromes here and there. Smells fantastic. Will update dry weight next week. Still pissed I snapped one of the two main branches in veg. O well
I used my old 2x2 to dry in. My flowering tent has a negative air pressure so I just ran a 4" flex duct pipe from drying tent to flower tent. Boom. Smell taken care of. My.reservoir is in the 2x2 tent which is making the humidity around 50% for drying
2 plants I've been lowering the dose for almost a week now. Feeding 500 EC. Runoff is around 600. Will run til the end of the week. Last few days just water
Last plant still has a couple weeks left somehow..
Well here we are. Dry weight off of first plant was 52grams. Chopped second and third on day 103 (March 7). Left a few branches off each that don't have much on them. Very airy buds.
Total Dry weight for those will be in my next week's posting. Plant 4 is in mid flush. Will cut by the weekend. I will count next week as harvest and place all the totals there! Cheers
Overall weight 4 plants- just over 300grams. No complaints there. Biggest harvest I've ever had for autos. Also the longest running aswell lol. Besides the 2 foxtailing which was my doing I believe I'm pretty happy. The other 2 were way easier to trim being full buds and less leaves. Dried for 10 days and jarred for curing

Thank you for choosing our genetics for this adventure on the grow diary platform 🤗
We won't let you down 👊
By the look of things our Auto White Widow is making the transition into bloom 🤗
Time for the real fun to begin 🤘
All the best ✌️
Mark..
Things look bang on track in here my friend 👍
Your ppm at 2000 is very high mate, have you thought about reducing this to around 1000ppm which would be 2.0ec?
Apart from that looking fantastic 👏
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@Salgeezi, coco won't "buffer" your PH like a soil medium would do but you will have a lot of built up nutrients in that coco👍. If your flushing with PH adjusted water things will be fine 👌
You want all that excess feed flushed prior to harvest. To leave a nice, clean end product 🤗
All the best ✌️

@DinafemSeeds, hi mark. Thanks again for stopping by. Ive read that it's not ideal to feed coco coir just PhD water as the coco will loose it's buffer? Any info on this? Ive been flushimg at about 700ec. Got runoff down to about 1200-1300ec now
@Salgeezi, I would just feed ph adjusted water to get these ec levels down mate 👍
Could you not add oscillating fans in place of the pc/computer fan's?
I think you'll find it beneficial if possible 🤗
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@Psilocubensis, thanks man! they're catching individual runoff from each plant. The video in this week will explain it a bit. Yes I made it was originally using it for my 2x2 tent. Was going to use it as a flood table but decided to do otherwise. Now in a 3x3 tent I might make a bigger one
White Widow Auto entering the home stretch 🤘
Not long now my friend it's harvest time 🤗
Another 7 maybe 10 day's will see this grow concluded, would you agree @Salgeezi ?
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, hi Mark. One plant will be ready by the weekend. Kinda wish I would have backed off the nutrients a bit earlier. But I've been flushing for about a week now. Other three still have all basically clear trichromes
