#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. July 20th, 57 days post flip. Plant is maturing well. I was worried with the color changes that she wouldn’t put on much weight but the buds are still fattening and gaining weight. Starting to see some of the branches not caught by the scrog starting to collapse. Most Trichomes are still clear, seeing some orange Trichomes on the leaves but none at all on the calyxes so thinking another week or two. I did lower the lights from 80% down to 60% on July 19th to slightly lower my DLI in the last week or two. Will continue to give only water, been watering by hand as the auto set up was under watering. She seems to be responding much better to hand waterings. Smell has been and still is crazy, cannot wait to smoke this thing. I tried squeezing one of the upper buds and she is beyond dense, I couldn’t even get the bud to collapse. I took a small popcorn and will give it a test in a week or two likely around the same time the plant gets chopped. God bless!

Day 88. Had to do it quickly, before remaking space and better air circulating by root level for Bagseed run, so Mr Earlier OG is chopped. No photos, had no time, dry trim chosen, same as for all that run. Some day. Absolutely forgot to make photos of Tallest Og. That girl was with amazing citrus aroma, but was chopped earlier, trimed wet and given away as a present to one friend after 6 days of drying.

Plant starts off slower than others. But once she’s in flower and starts packing on resin and changing colors, everything changes. The plant reeks of funky terps and citrus and just stinky goodness. The colors are crazy ranging from pink to blue and purple. Highly recommend this strain and she produces super fat sticky buds. She’s a keeper.

🌿 Week 11: Frosty Heights & Real Talk (Flower Week 6) First off, apologies for the slight delay! Usually, I drop these updates on Monday, but I was out celebrating my 25th birthday yesterday and, well... let’s just say things got a little out of control, haha! But I'm back in the tent now, and the girls didn't seem to mind the extra day of peace. Welcome to Week 11. We are deep in the flowering phase (Week 6), and the tent is looking like a winter wonderland. But let’s keep it real – while the frost is insane, it hasn't been a "perfect" run since it’s my first experience with living soil. Here’s the honest breakdown. 🛠️ The Big Defoliation & Adjustments The canopy got so thick that I had to perform one last major defoliation. I removed a significant amount of the large fan leaves that were shading the lower bud sites. It’s always a tough call this late in the game, but it was absolutely necessary to get that light penetration down to the secondary colas and improve RH. Combined with raising the entire tent to save the tops from light stress, the environment is now much more balanced. If you look closely at some of the upper leaves, you can still see a bit of "tacoing" (curling edges) from the previous light intensity and buds on the top of the sweet spot are not very well bulked because of heat stress by light. I caught it likely and the "scars" remained. 🌱 Organic Struggles & Success The "Autumn Fade" is hitting harder than I expected. The remaining fan leaves are yellowing quite aggressively. In living soil, this usually means the nitrogen is running low what I read as the plant focuses everything on the buds. I’m letting nature take its course, but I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure they have enough gas to reach the finish line. • The Scrog Management: My canopy isn't perfectly level. I have a few "underdogs" getting shadowed by the main colas even after the defoliation. It’s a lesson for next time – I need to be even more aggressive with LST early on to keep everything in one uniform plane. 📊 Stats & Environment: • Genetics: Banana Purple Punch Auto (FastBuds) • Status: Bulking phase. • RH: Dropped to 45%-40% – absolutely critical now to prevent any bud rot in these dense clusters. • Temp: 22-26°C. • Aroma: A heavy mix of tropical fruit sweets and gassy undertones. They were good phenos. Very similar and nice buds. Super dense and dripping in resin. Lovely aromatic smell have been developed and was a great addition to my VERY LARGE crop this time. Both phenos grew great. P1 was just under 10 weeks. Pheno 2 was just touching into wk 7. Amazing smells from both. Dense buds. Big yields. Really happy to have ran this strain. Very fruity, exceptional quality & taste. Averaged about 70-90 grams for Pheno1 & Pheno 2. (Both plants cured 2 + months now. Really happy with my MSNL strains I ran this crop. Chopped tonight so not weighed them yet will do tomorrow if I can. Ended up with 290g for 5 plants But 5 same seeds and 5 different pheno's. Judging by the looks the heaviest weight is from the one I topped . Already weighed one plant got 28g dry weight. Got 4 more babies chopped tonight

It's been a busy week. The Red Dragon is growing really well, and they seem to be shooting up really quick. There's no stretch on them so I know they're getting enough light. So far the Red Dragon is definitely one of my favorite strains but I've got a lot more to get through yet lol. I have got some acoustic ducting. WARNING... Acoustic ducting has Fibre glass in it and is a MAJOR IRRITATENT to both skin and eyes and should be done in a well ventilated area with suitable protection. So, I have also switched from pure batmix to a 50/50 split with a good compost. I have done this as I'm not 100% happy with the level of water retention in the batmix, I'm finding it to be too much and I do not want to run into any issues. I would rather the soil drys out then I know exactly when to water. I have also increased the HPS to 400w (from 250w) it is very difficult to give plants too much light. I am spraying the tent whenever I can, with warm(ish) water to increase the humidity for a short while. I will be looking into fiming and LST probably next week to make sure they have a good base. I have also had to transplant the plants into another pot as the roots are growing like crazy at the moment. I also purchased a dimmer plug for the fan, as I don't need it to be on full all the time (it's a 6 inch fan with duel speed but thats far too much for what is needed now. Other than that all is good

42 days!!! The girl has regained her strength and is now putting effort into loading the flowers:) my tent is too small to grow two girls at the same time, so there are always some problems ;) but I think they are in the past and everything will be fine now:) good luck to everyone:)

Week 4 of Flower coming to an end. Budding up real nice and beginning to develop a strong and potent odor! Always happy to open the tent to look at her, being greeted by that developing STENCH 😋😍 Watering stays every 3 Days 6L ~6PH, with 5ml/L Terra Bloom and 1ml/L Green Sensation. Added another dose of mycorhizzae last time i watered, just sprinkled some generously onto the soil before watering. 👽 Cant wait to see what she has got in store for me over her last couple of weeks of flowering! Shes shaping up to become a real beautiful stunner 😌
