Sun's Out, Slungs Out—And a Total Glow-Up! We’ve officially hit Week 3, and what a difference a bit of sunshine makes! The sun finally broke through over the last couple of days, and the response from the plants was instant. They took a massive leap forward in growth. Since she’s getting bigger, I started LST (Low Stress Training) to open up her canopy, and she's taking to it nicely (check out the pictures!). Feeding remains simple: just straight tap water for now, saving the extra nutrients for the upcoming stretch into bloom. I also treated her to a preventative misting of neem oil solution yesterday just to keep her safe and clean. Appearance: Remember how I mentioned she was looking a bit pale at the beginning? Well, she’s had a total glow-up! Since settling into the big pot and soaking up that real sunlight, her leaves have turned a much darker green. She looks incredibly healthy and vibrant right now, and I couldn't be happier with her progress. Don't forget to swing by the Black Orchid Auto diary to see her unique, dark foliage! May the green thumb be with you 💚

8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. I CHECKED THE OTHER PLANTS AND SAW A COUPLE THAT "MIGHT'VE STARTED DROOPING BUT WERE LIGHT SO I GAVE ALL THE GMO'S HALF A GALLON. I WATERED THE CONTAINER PLANTS AND THE ONE IN THE 50. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. THEY WERE SUPER LIGHT. SOME ARE SHOWING SOME HEAT STRESS BUT I DONT BLAME THEM WHEN ITS PUSHING 100° OUT. I HOPE THIS PLANT WILL PICK UP BUT ILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING TO SEE. I GOTTA GO EAT DINNER AND IT WAS IN ROUGH SHAPE. CANT BELIEVE THIS. ITS THE FURYHEST IN FLOWER TOO. INTERNET TOO SLOW TO UPLOAD 8/3 This morning it was "maineing" out. Basically like raining but more of an alternating mist. The event horizon that looked DEAD is completely recovered! I'm so stoked. I've had a really rough few days but at least I've still got my girls. After this little bit of rain I'll do the supports and a spray of BT for the pillars. I'm noticing more damage and I don't want them arpund when they can burrow into buds. WENT BACK AT LIKE FIVE. THE 5 GAL WAS DROOPING AND THE 10 WAS DRY AF. OTHERS WERE ALSO LIGHT. I USED 5 GALLONS ON THE GARDEN AS SOME STILL "LOOKED GOOD" BUT WERE DUSTY AND DRY. I ONLY GAVE THE GMO IN THE 30 A HALF GALLON. DIDNT WATER THE ECENT HORIZON IN THE BACK AND THE GMO IN THE FRONT BY THE DOOR ASXTHE LOOKED GOOD AND STILL HAD SOME WEIGHT TO THEM. THIS WAS ANOTHER DAY IN THE 90s THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE RAINED. LUCKILY IVE GOT THAT INTUITION AND I CAN CHECK. CAMS HELP WITH THAT BUT ITS BEST TO CHECK A FEW TIMES A DAY IN WEATHER LIKE THIS. FAR TO HOT TO SPRAY ANYTHING. 8/4 Chose not to water as we were supposed to get an inch of rain, then a half in and now it says .1in. I'm going to go over and check on the garden and see what they look like. I took pictures but I'll have to wait to upload them. WENT BACK OVER IN THE AFTERNOON AROUND 2ISH. GMO IN THE FRONT WAS DROOPY. WATERED THAT A GALLON AND IT WAS UP BY THE TIME I LEFT. THE GMO ON THE END (MY CANARY) WAS SUPER LIGHT SO SHE GOT A GALLON. THE EVENT HORIZON I DIDNT WATER YESTERDAY GOT ABOUT 3/4 OF A GALLON AND I WATERED THE ONE IN THE 10 1/2 GALLON. SHOWERS ARE IN THE FORECAST AND EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKED PRETTY GOOD AND WASNT DEAD LIGHT. AS OF 3 EVERYTHING IS GOOD. I IMAGINE ILL PROBABLY NEED TO WATER SOMETHING TOMORROW. IT SUCKS HAVING TO DO THIS SEPERATELY BUT SOMETIMES THATS HOW IT GOES. I DONT EXPECT THESE 90 TEMPS WILL CONTINUE. ALSO NOTICING SOME FADING AS THEY TURN TO FLOWER. DEF NEED NUTES. AND ONCE THE TEMPS GO DOWN I NEED TO SPRAY EITHER BT OR SPINOSID. 8/5 It Rained last night so I didn't need to water. Everything was nice and heavy. Beautiful day today. Hopfully I can do an app of bt tonight. Weather man needs to get things right. It says we got .005in last night but I heard it and it was way more than that. This is a tiny town. WENT BACK OVER AND FED. EVERYTHING GOT 1.75 PINTS. THE 10 GOT HALF THAT. THE FIVE A LITTLE LESS. I DEFINATELY NEED TO SPRAY FOR PILLARS. I ALSO HAVE A BIT OF DEFOLIATING ON A COUPLE PLANTS THAT I NEED TO DO. USUALLY I'VE LOST TONS OF LEAVES BY NOW. I JUST NEED TO IMPROVE AIRFLOW. THE TRELLIS WILL HELP WITH THAT PLUS SUPPORT. I THINK I MAY BE ABLE TO SPRAY PISSIBLY TONIGHT (DEPENDING ON WEATHER) AND SUPPORTS AND DEFOLIATION THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

Gotta get the Glueberry OG to the finish line! Flushing has begun, she's incredibly sticky, buds are very dense and heavy, branches bending and twisting like crazy! Smells like glue/fuel and she's heavy on OG Kush growth characteristics, in comparison to my previous OG kush grows. Only a few amber trichomes, she's 60-70% cloudy. Thanks for watching! 👽🌳

Starting to get a bit hot in my area so I'm not sure if the autumn hues will show up as prevalent as before. But she's still kicking ass, doing her thing. We'll see.. I've just been feeding her liquid seaweed and molasses. I plan on throwing in 1 more dose of recharge by the end of the week. That should supplement the microbe content. I'm also planning on using overdrive on her the last two weeks. So two weeks from now. Other than that, I've been feeding 2-3 times per week with 1 pH 6.5-6.8 watering on in-between days. I also wanted to mention that I'm a little worried one of my Banana daddies infected this girl with pm. So I'm keeping an eye out for that. Read on an article that spraying the spores with pH 8+ water kills and prevents it from forming. So I've been spraying her every night when the lights are out, then pumping the fans on high. Seems to be doing the trick, haven't seen any spores on her yet... but I digress, 👀 on her til' she's for sure in the clear. I'm so glad i got my perpetual grow dialed in. I've swap outs well-vegged and ready to go when the time comes. Blessings on everyone who stumbled upon my garden. I hope you all have dope harvests 😎

This week I'd like to dedicate my growth to beans sister, who would've had a birthday if she was still with us. I day I caught him laughing his ass off for no apparent reason like he lost his damn mind. It turned out he was thinking about this time she was super sun burned and she dropped her ice cream and cried. So we are gonna watch some kids drop their ice cream and cry while listening to her favorite band, Guns n Rose's. (Keep in mind she was 11 years older than beans and tormented him every chance she got. Also she was probably 19 at the time of her incident.)

She seems to be budding nicely. However in the past few days all her lower leaves are turning yellow. I know this plant is a heavy feeder and I thought I was feeding enough. She is not growing anymore, but she looks like she has a nitrogen deficiency. I do use the same water which has a low 6 ph. Today I gave her water with a 7.0 ph. Just to get her out the constant ph zone she has been in. 9/17 fed 15 MLS of foxfarm Tiger Bloom 9/19 fed 15 MLS of Tiger Bloom. 9/21 fed 4 tablespoons Foxfarm Big Bloom, 1/2 Teaspoon Foxfarm Beasti Bloom and 12 MLS of Foxfarm Grow Big. Per 2 gallons. Day 98 She has a lot of yellow lower leaves. So I hit her up with a little grow big. From what I read, she still needs some nitrogen. Lower leaves turning yellow. Think it's a little too early for that. She is a big eater and it looks like she has not been getting enough base nutrients. Her pot is very heavy, so now I'm going to hold back water until she drys a little. Getting cold out at night. Every morning I go out and she was drenched in dew. This plant I'm counting on giving me bud until at least spring. So now I have been sneaking her in the garage at night with 47 percent humidity. She seems to be very happy about this. Right now 9 pm 60 degrees, humidity 71. Humidity is way too high for her to be sitting outside. Her buds are fattening up. Some time last week I gave her a feeding of just Foxfarm Beasti Bloom. Beasti has no nitrogen and she was not happy about that. A lot of lower leaves turned yellow. So I gave her Foxfarm Tiger Bloom and that seemed to make her happy again. Will not make that mistake again.

Day 94, 5th of November 2020: Nice strain no really strong smell haha good to grow more safely :) This situation is crazy never happneed to me. It is only the 5th week of flowering and she looks ready to be harvested.... WTF.... I immediately stop fertilization.... I checked the trichomes and it is interesting. I see ambers and I see milky ones but also translucent ones.... I have an idea what happened. She had gotten aot of darkness I mean she did not get always the standard 12/12 she qas once 3 days in darkness before owering that's ok.... After I left her one day in darkness once.... And what I think is when I went on holiday my friend looked after her so she was with different strains and needed to remove out of the tent manually so he went to work early and back late so she spent 14 hours darkness but stilll.... I have no idea ;) I am going to make a question here :)

looking lovely. Although they still seem small. Not sure how long they will take to finish. They will probably shoot up once they get into the large air pots. Pretty happy with the progress so far though. Meaty main stems. Humidity isn't quite as high as I would like but it's a fair compromise with others flowering. As for superthrive. Does it work? Well I'm not seeing the explosive growth it promised in the root zone. But it's not really a fair trial as they've all had it.

02/01/2021 Going to sprout my last 2 Bluedreamatic seeds from (fast buds). Will be sprouting in mini greenhouse on heat mat. Once seedlings are ready they will be moved under 1000w MH for veg and flowering. 10+hours later they are on bottom of water and time for paper towels in baggie. 02/03/2021 1 seed sprouted and I dropped the other in soil 🙏 I hope because it disappeared! So got at least one Bluedreamatic on the way hoping to see other one sprout in mixing tray. 02/05/2021 She's above ground! Day #1 , currently under 150w compact flourecent 3 way bulb when first true leaves form (Not single finger let)I will start veg cycle under 1000w MH see you in 3-4 days for weekly update. topped seedling pot with vermiculite 1/2-3/4 inches leaving the cotdtyledons 1/2-3/4 inches above surface. Roots should fill up this container quickly, moved under1000w MH light for vegging. Seedling is 3-4 ft away from light but also off to the side no serious heat just about room temperature. I could not feel heat from light where I put seedling, comfortable on your skin is good for plants. 02/11/2021 It's day #6 above the soil, she is doing well already grown 2" above where I topped with vermiculite. At lights out I put her in humidity dome with my tomato seedlings main area of grow gets very cool at night,so I try to keep her at a better temp 72°f.

Howdy, here's a brief Week 9 update: It's become autumn in the tent! Temps are dropping, plants are showing signs of senescence one by one (although some reluctantly so, am I right SJ?). Headbanger, as expected, is finishing up first. Leaves are crisping up, colors are showing a slow, clean fade. I was pretty sure I burned her a little juding by the green tips, but Mephisto previously described this on the profile page, so maybe a little bit of both? Mango, finally cut out of the scrog net and turned 180°, got light-burned AGAIN and I am since giving her as many stable days as possible to get off the stress-edge, to retain those remaining beautiful terps. She is finishing faster due to a troubled history, but I am very proud to have her (alive at this point) and already learned a LOT about sativas. SJ is still watching the show from the corner, has settled building her rainforest canopy, and is just slowly bulking every day. Most content plant (well, as indica representation more resilient anyway), is hesitantly absorbing some Nitrogen from her fluffy, roughy, textured canopy. She'll let me know when things go south. Not gonna lie, OSMH, after some reasearch into her "natural" soil conditions, already caused me to try and wrap my hot dehumidifier exhaust around the pots, in order to avoid scary root temp collapses during nights towards 15°C. I am giving the plants warm-ish waterings to raise soil temps slightly, but watching her suffer more is driving me a little nuts. She definitely managed to take a scratch at the little pride I still had remaining 😂 I clipped some videos from my personal vid log, enjoy. I think I have a LOT of larf incoming 😓. Don't be greedy.

Due to all excitement about the first grow didn’t take any photo of the germination. Used 2x 0,5 water bottles and a wet paper towel for germination. All 6 of the seeds germinated in about 30h. Room temperature was 22 with 65% humidity. I didn't have enough coco for all 6 seeds so I put 3 seeds of amnesia into one bucket. On the 2nd day I found out that You should not pit Your lights on 95% in the first week 😳 Now it’s running on about 27%. At the moment I have only one marshydro ts1000. But I figured that for the first week it will do the trick. Hopefully the second one will arrive sometime next week. At day 3 my coco finally arrived and I could put the 2 couchsurfers into their own pots. Since they are small (about 3cm) they fell out of the soil...but due to them not having any proper roots I hope they wont stress out much about the transplant (although everybody warns about not transplantong autos) So at the end of the first week I must say it is not rocket science but I made some serious mistakes that wont happen next time. Will definetly add perlite next time and be extra carefull with germination.

######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. I'm now eager to give the Bruce Banner #3 they released a run and will surely acquire future releases from DarkOwl. ----------------------------------------------------------- THE END ----------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for checking out my diary! I typically journal in my notebook but I put some time and effort into documenting my grows on this platform in hopes it will help a new or experienced grower with their DWC journey. Any questions or suggestions are welcomed. Happy growing!

Expect extremely dense buds that grow stacked and end up looking like one giant nug in each branch. You’ll be amazed by the trichome production, the sugar-dipped nugs with some colorful leaves coming out of them will leave your fingers full of resin and, as soon as you start grinding them, overwhelm you with a pungent lemony pine-sol with a touch of sourness and a spicy background. -Smoke report: After a couple of hits, you will experience a really cozy and stimulating head high that will get you in a comfortable state of mind and feeling good with everything and everyone; The long-lasting uplifting effect promotes a very calm and centered state of mind with a relaxed edge at first. The motivating effect will gradually transform into a more Indica-like high that deeply relaxes your muscles and relieves pain without leaving you too sedated, an ideal choice for those who want to stay alert during the morning and need to relax when the workday ends. -Plant appearance: Growing on the taller side, this autoflower can reach up to 120cm while growing quite compact and bushy, you’ll see lots of dark-green fan leaves coming out of everywhere and a couple of side branches that can grow as tall as the main cola. Thanks to its Sativa heritage, this variety yields as much as it grows; Expect yields ranging from 350-500gr/m2, making it an ideal choice for all types of growers who are looking for a low-maintenance and fast flowering version of the classic. *The above Strain Information/Description courtesy of FastBuds ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ MY SETUP: Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with de-chlorinated water with SuperThrive added then ph'd to 6.0 @ 80℉ where it took 3 days for her to break ground. Grown 100% organic in 4g fabric pot by Gronest filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium amended with (my 'Secret Recipe): 2tbs/g of Down To Earth 4-4-4 / 2 cups/g of Earthworm Castings / 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Bat Guano, 3/4 cup of Down To Earth Azomite and 1 tsp/g Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal. 24hr light cycle during Germination, 19/5 light cycle for the remainder of the run under UnitFarm's UF-4000 and UFS3000 LED's which I have to say just blew me away with the results they gave!!! If you're on a budget and want a light that is about as low profile and cool running as they get you really need to check out UnitFarms lights. Believe me... I run a pair of HLG 650R's and a HLG 225 in my 4x8 so I'm no stranger to 'high end' lights but lemme tell ya, these two UnitFarm lights absolutely blowup my 4x4 and don't overheat the tent! She received straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and weekly Compost Tea's for the entire grow which is one of the beauty's of growing 100% organic, you establish a microbial colony in your medium, then feed the microbes every 3-4 weeks keeping them fat and happy... They, in turn, through their life processes take care of feeding the plant. Pretty freaking cool if I may say so, and there's no simpler way to grow IMHO 😎: 1: This Trainwreck's structure was perfect and didn't require me to top her, only requiring minimal LST and tucking shade leaves that were blocking light penetration. She grew fairly tall to 31" with wide node spacing allowing for excellent light penetration making her a growers dream, low maintenance, extremely tolerant of temperatures and disease/pests ) and a healthy yield of some epic super dense GASSY buds glistening with trichomes... What more could you ask for? 😍💖 All in all, this strain has made it's way onto my 'list' and you'll be seeing it run again by me for sure as she's a hard one to stay away from! I highly recommend this one... Go grab some and put a huge smile on your face too! 😁: 1:💚

Gave her some nitrogen this week
