26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. 5 days away from trim. Flush is over 15 days in and the leaves are showing it. Smell is extremely potent snd crystals are sitting with about 5% amber.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 42 FLOWERING: Good afternoon ( in the UK anyway) brownies. It has been a steady weeks bud building this week and outing imposters!. I have somehow managed to mix pits during the initial set up and have two ladies representing their opposite strains !!!!!. Doh The girl scout cookie #2 is actually the #3 Amnesia Haze and the #3 is the Girls scout #2 . I have suspected it for a while but they have failed in their ploy to fool me and their ripening phases have given thwirbruse up. Seeing how similar the #3 was to the #1Girl Scout and how close they were in finishing to each other too , it was way more evident now that the #1Girls scout looks ready to come out for her dark period . She has finished very quickly and i am in no doubt she is done with most of her pistils being a golden orange now. She has many small clusters of buds but is not going to win any yield cups I dont think. She smells so sweet and edible though with a sticky feel too. Her leaves have a really beautiful fade too . So e very nice colours among the cannabalising. I dont think the # 2 will be far behind in her finish either with her pistils starting to orange up now. Now that the #3 amnesia is correctly identified and in the right row , it is clear to see how they all look alike and are at the same stage in bud development. They are a 77 day (11 weeks) flowering period and are still in their bud building stage with a huge production in trichromes taking place too. Thet are so like Gorilla glue #4 in their look which can only be a good thing... The #1 and 2 are bigger than the @3 purely due to the lst I did . They both have medium sized colas for info ar al of their mains so hopefully will have some donkey dick buds covered in frost around week 9-10. Bud porn ahead I think. Normal feedings for these ladies for the upcoming weeks but the G.S.C are going to be fed with water a few days now to let them know its time!!!!. Be safe and red eyed folks. Until next time. tata

Week 10 - she stop stretching finally and the high is 93cm and I can see that the buds are stretching instead which is good. Looking forward to see how fat she will be, I think another. 3-4 weeks and flush time.

Lowered the lights a good 8-10inches just because i realized i could get them closer without burning! Going for around 6-7 inches above canopy getting the temp in the high 70s low 80s om top canopy. All pheno are getting very unique and super resinous! I have a slight lnat problem going to spray this week when i get paid

D71: She seems to have grown a bit in the last day and the pistils are for sure looking more orange than white. Now I´ll keep an eye on the thricomes, still clear yet with little cloudy, using the microscope. This one, unlike her unfortunate sister, I intend to let develop to full maturity. No watering yet as she still has some. D72: Everyday I´m checking for rot, and it wasn´t today. D73: Watered 2L with 1,5ml of cal-mag trying to resolve a possible iron deficiency. D74: The pistils are all orange already but the thrics are yet mostly cloudy. She seems very close to harvest tho. D75: Found a little set of leaves from a larf that were starting to want to rot and blocking airflow so I just cut them off. Humidity is high ( and I´m having trouble and no budget to control it ) and her thricomes aren´t developing in the pace the pistils are starting to turn orange. Otherwise, the buds are incredibly beautiful, with nice purple colors on the sugar leaves and some calyxes and a big big amount of thricomes everywhere! D76: Well, today when I arrived at home and went to see the tent I noticed mold on her. The thricomes were about 20-25% clear unfortunately but I had to chop her, I can´t control the high humidity at the lights off period and it would only get worse and I would lose much more buds. The overall size was ok, very big buds – which I lost at least 25% of them -, mostly medium buds, both very beautiful and dense, and a huuuge amount of larfs that were hidden in the middle, but I can´t blame that on anyone else except myself. The smell is incredible tho, looking forward to smoke her. In the next weeks I´ll be updating with the harvest week and strain review. Thank you for reading, stay safe and peace ✌️
