Hey, The White Sweet Candy OG has been flowering for 5 days now, and everything is going very smoothly. The plant is slowly starting to stretch a bit, but it’s doing so much less aggressively than some other strains. This strain is making a really good impression on me so far, there hasn’t been a single problem. I think the internode spacing is great, the leaves are getting really huge, all the shoots are very sturdy, and the plant is just eager to grow! The drip irrigation system is now installed and handling the watering; it’s watered three times a day, though the first watering cycle is done with drain only on the day itself. Once the stretch phase is over, I’ll also be adding a small intercanopy LED, so hopefully all the flowers will get some light. The additional 30 W from the intercanopy LED will be deducted from the upper LED output, so instead of the usual 130 W from above, the plants will now receive 100 W from above and 30 W from the sides. Let’s see how the final result turns out. 😄 So far, I haven’t switched to the bloom fertilizer yet to keep the nitrogen supply high, which is necessary at the start of flowering; starting next week or when I refill the tank, I’ll start using the bloom fertilizer.

* ***************** Week 1 of Growth From Seed, April 11 to 17, 2020 - Days 1 to 7 from germination ********************** * Okay, we are off running now. Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Killer Kush in other diaries has been more squat but a thick grower........time will tell😀 So far this pheno has been slower coming out but I notice she was a fat seed and her leaves are already thicker as well on her first set of true leaves........maybe a slow Indica?? Sweet Seeds is always solid and expect this girl to bring a smile at some point👌👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - leaves are wide already on her first set. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is gaining speed!!!! She is the fastest out of the bunch now. 2.5” tall and pushing out her second leaves pretty hard.😀👍 Apr 15, Day 5 - VPD 1.0 - 250ml water with VeloKelp @ 1ml/L. - 95ppm with 5.4pH. - She was a little slow in the seed but has been doing very will getting taller so far. Apr 16, Day 6 - VPD 1.0 - 500ml water with Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L, Vitathrive @ 0.5ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 0.5ml/L. - 300ppm with 5.8pH - Her leaf tips are staying more horizontal. Colour is good and she getting thicker leaves. Leaves really separating. - Moved all the girls today one spot in a clockwise rotation. - Noticed more residual moisture on the bottom of the pots than anticipated. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

Trichome formation starting slowly on all plants. Both forbidden cherry show hanging leaves quite often, but then recover. Stoll missing the purple coloration. In contrast the 3x auto blueberry and auto orange bud are quite happy, constantly. Auto orange bud is in the lead in terms of bud formation and developing well. Nice earthy citrus smell. It's the smallest plant, but beautiful. I could get the humidity down by going to 24/7 light and exhausting used air directly outside the basement window. Accordingly, I increased distance to light to axilhiece 400-700 ppdf, as DLI over 24h is almost +60 everywhere.. I am wondering if that's too much light, but so far they seem to cope. I prefer a bit of light stress over a too high humidity. I also intentionally went a bit higher with the sensi bloom to 3ml/l. A day later the plants are showing a deeper green but also slightly burned tips. So I know now that the 2ml/l (50% of recommendation) are just about right. I irrigate every 3rd day, alternating pure water (well, not entirely pure, I add bus Candy due to the magnesium) with watering including sensi bloom a and b nutrients

This week has gone great! At the beginning of the week we flushed the remaining Fox farm nutrients we had been using before with Sledgehammer. After we treated with an organic compost tea brewed by our local hydroponic shop. We started with the Cyco Platinum Series this week. It’s still a bit early to tell but we will see how this nutrient line performs. I am very optimistic. As you may be able to tell I have a reservoir with coco coir mix on top with a drip irrigation system. I’m going to be trying out this system and an ebb and flow system in the upcoming weeks. I’m looking to maximize quality and quantity and believe these two system offer some of the best results. We look forward to starting that project! As for the lady she is looking extremely healthy. She is recovering well from being topped and lst. We’re going to let her grow up a bit now and stretch her out across the first trellis. My experience says this should be in 2-3 weeks and the. We will let her grow up through the second trellis. All in all I believe I’m looking at a 7-10 week veg. My goal is to shoot for a minimum of 1.3lbs from one plant. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Leave a comment if you have any questions or if you have any suggestions! Please check out my Instagram. Link in my Bio. Peace ✌️ Love ❤️ and Thanx 👍

It’s the third week of flowering, and the plants are starting to show some exciting progress! 🌿 The buds have begun to build mass, and the first signs of trichome development are visible, giving them a light nice, frosty look. ✨ I did notice a few nutrient deficiencies on the leaves, likely due to underfeeding, as I’m using a medium with 50% coco. To fix this, I adjusted the nutrient levels, and the plants seem to be responding well. 🌱 The plant that wasn’t trained with LST is about a week ahead in development compared to the LST version, showing more advanced bud growth. Also, the smell is becoming more pronounced, with the first hints of that classic, sweet aroma filling the tent. 🍬🌿 I’m excited to see how things continue to unfold in the coming weeks! 😁✨

Hello Growmies, As we step into the eighth week of our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids' flowering stage, the dance of growth and aroma continues to enchant our senses. These delightful plants, sharing their space with Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding varieties, inch ever closer to the pinnacle of their bloom. The Watermelon Candy cultivars are flourishing with an undeniable zest, their foliar tapestry thick with the potential of what's to come. The air is thick with their intoxicatingly sweet scent, a testament to their namesake, and their buds are expanding with satisfying robustness. Plant #1 is maintaining its lead with a striking bud formation, clearly thriving in the consistent environment of the Tent-X system. Plant #2 and Plant #3 are not far behind, with each showing a wealth of budding sites and a sprawling canopy that speaks to a bountiful harvest ahead. Despite being under a 12/12 light cycle along with the photoperiod plants, which may limit their yield compared to a 20/4 cycle, these plants are putting on a splendid show. They continue to swell, their trichome-frosted buds promising a powerful and flavorful finale. Nutrition continues on a carefully scheduled five-day rotation, our blend of Alga Bloom, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca nurturing these beauties into their late flowering phase. The TrolMaster system diligently logs every parameter, ensuring our VPD and PPFD values are consistently optimized for peak performance. As the eighth week unfolds, we see the evidence of our meticulous care in the uniform health and structure of the plants. The internodal spaces remain tight, the stems sturdy, and the flowering sites increasingly impressive. With anticipation building for the harvest that lies ahead, we reflect on the journey so far. It's a path marked by shared knowledge and collective experience, all leading us toward what promises to be a remarkable culmination of our efforts. Stay lifted, Salokin

Been working on getting rid of the purple stems. She seemed super happy today. Not a ton of noticable stretching going on with her. She looks really nice so far. I haven't noticed many pistils yet. Been about 8 days since 12/12 Worms are living in the soil and seem happy. Stretching her out more.

The plants received just Biobloom at a rate of 1.5ml/l twice at the start of this week. Since then the plants have been given just water. The light level has also been decreased to about 42 DLI. The plants are maturing and their buds ripening now. Unfortunately the taller back right plant has at least 4 seeds forming at different bud sites. Grow conditions have been good, consistent and the plants have been allowed to grow untrained and naturally. I suppose that is natures way, without it there would be no bag seeds and all the great varieties that have come from them. Whilst the carbon filter does its job well, when I open the tent now the fruity funky smell is loud. I had a Paloma cocktail the other day which has pink grapefruit in it. The back right plant now smells like a Paloma. The front left plant continues to smell like orange juice. This coming week I will continue with the water only and remove the spent leaves. I will also start to scrutinise the trichomes heads.

Slow and steady, and very even will win the ultimate race. What appears as slow is a nice transition period. I have been slowly removing branches at lower levels that are reaching for light, deviating from the main stem by more than 2". Ill continue doing it this week and into week 3. After this i will allow them to plump up.
