Another cold wet week. Witnessed the spiderlings band together for a few days, web making at night. Then one day the wind picked up and they all disbanded, stretched out their silk and flew away all over my yard. It was such an incredible experience to watch! I should have an army of Orb weavers come flower time. Did another top dress of compost mixed with 70/30 Gaia Green AP/PB, maybe 20Tbsp. When I pulled back the mulch I got to see all the soil creatures and roots consuming the material, this really does help build extra root zone over time. Minor defoliating, I'm keeping nodes 1, removing 2 and final top at 3 (next week) to keep her spaced, then let her stretch and trellis. Should all help fill in the canopy.

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Structure is compact yet full, with a very balanced expression across the canopy. No rush, no stress — just plants doing plant things. Training & Structure We’re continuing with very gentle LST — mostly bending and positioning leaves rather than aggressive branch work. The goal is simple: • Open light pathways • Encourage lateral growth • Let the plants decide their final shape They’re responding incredibly well: tight internodes, bushy profiles, and strong posture. You can clearly see the progression in the photos from the beginning to the end of the week. Growth Stage Observation By the end of this week, we’re starting to see early pre-flower signs. Nothing dramatic yet, but the transition is clearly beginning. ➡️ Next week’s update should start showing more defined flower development. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition & Water Strategy This week we introduced CalMag Pro — not because the plants are asking for it, but as a proactive step heading into flower. Why now? • We’re using collected rainwater + dehumidifier water, which is extremely soft • Before stacking base nutrients and supplements, we need to build a proper mineral foundation • This ensures stability and availability later, especially during stretch and early flower demand This is preparation, not correction. Autopot Zone We’re running two feeding zones in the tent (6 plants total), which is why you’ll see different measurements in the diary photos: • Autopot zone: mineral-based recipe only • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.0 • (Organics don’t play well with Autopots — keeping it clean and stable) • Solution temperature: ~22–23°C across both zones • Slightly warmer on purpose to support root activity during colder weather ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Humidity: ~58% • Temperature: ~21°C Outside conditions have been tough this week (4–5°C with 90–98% humidity), so honestly, we’re happy with how stable the room is holding. More importantly, the plants are reacting calmly and positively, which always matters more than chasing textbook numbers. CO₂ remains unchanged at ~666 ppm — steady and sufficient for this stage. We’ll reassess during flower. ⸻ 💡 Lighting & PPFD • Top light: 100% • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) The girls are praying to the light — no pushing, no forcing. We let them grow how they want to grow. Under-Canopy Lighting (LumiFlora) By the end of this week, we’re turning on the under-canopy lighting for the first time. Why now? • Plants have grown past the fixtures • It’s time for them to start recognizing photons from all directions • This prepares lower growth for the coming stretch and flower set We’re starting very gently at ~30% power, then increasing slowly based on plant response. No shock, no rush — just layered light introduced with intention. Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. 5/07/24 day 15 I was worried with how small she is, I started her a little early for outdoor so she hasn’t been getting proper lighting but she’s not too far behind other plants at this age.
