The girls are starting to fill out pretty nice. We are at 14 days since switching the lights to 12/12. The grandaddy black seems to be one of the slower ones to transition to flower but she is showing preflowers and starting to stretch. Gave them the weekly flush and fresh nutrients. This will be the last week of maxigro. I will cut it out and start liquid Koolbloom next week.

Hello. This is the end of week 12 and the beginning of week 13 of veg. Everything is going good in here. The plants seem to have doubled since last week. They all got a gallon of food yesterday and were all reaching up this morning when I went in. Every few days I push the tips down under the next rung to spread these girls out more. I'll do some training on the 3 plants I've got going indoors this week. Ok. Have Fun. Chuck.

I planted her outside week half ago she took off great so I tied her down I have to tie more down and open to make leval canopy being sativa I have time she won't be done tell first October .

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Got these transplanted to the rain science 3 gal bags and moved to a 4x4 in the basement where it's a little better environment in terms of vpd. I had a full bag of roots organic soil so I decided to do a soil/coco blend like I did with the current autoflower crop. I also topped every single one of em mid week. Once I get the flower tent all cleaned out and everything I'll be throwing these in there for bloom. Hoping this will be an even better grow than the last since I have both my arms back. I'm doing the update a little early since I was late on it last week, today (tuesday 9.10.19) is day 43 from germination and about day 39 from full sprout. Before this week they were under only about 185w in a 4x4 area so it's been slow growth so far. The hawaiians are doing good very healthy so far.

Day 43. so main change, i lost my mobile and i had really loads of photos and videos of ex grows. i blacklisted it, but still... from now i will reduce amount of post and updates, it is stupid, but i cant risk ... Girls all week on diet, looks like only one Gorilla is starving a bit and would need more, but in my plans last watering with molases this time only. They already had runs with silica only. cal mag only x2. Think worm castings was an isue, control garden grows really fine, will be my smallest plants ever, they will have 3 weeks in total for veg. Happy growing and dont loose your mobiles, huge pain .... Day 48. Gorillas are really nice and i cant denny it, but .... Cookies are worst experience ever... They just dont want to grow and show up new issue the second you fight one.... I even made control garden with more than years old beans of Incredible Bulk and bagseed Strawberry Cough. Both strains grow ok, but not Cookie !!! Thats honestly wrong genetics, unless someone prove me wrong, open for your advices ... Hard training again, still on pure water diet with calmag or silica or molases as small bonus while no feed for two weeks + .... Lights are out because training took longer than i wanted. ... Next week they go to 24 hours darkness and light is changed to 12/12. That was last week of really hard training, now i will wait for green mass of leaves to cover stems and hope they will make some buds ;)) Choose your beans wisier than me ... Happy growing !!!

Getting better day by day, we did try to correct a small calmag issue which was observed last week, but not really a big deal as we are already started to provide bloom nutrients, at the moment the girls are doing great under the TS1000 😃🤗

I am loving how strong this sativa strain is. I keep defoliating her to expose as many bud sites as possible. At the same time, I am trimming those side branches with low chances of making it to the top. 🌱🌱👍🏻👍🏻

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. 11/27: harvest day. Well, i have chopped them all down. I trimmed all the bud and put it in seal bags in the freezer. No drying - fresh frozen. Sometime in the next few days i will turn it all into bubble hash. If i had gotten the buds that i wanted I would have dried and cured much of this. But as this is just a typical looking and smelling lemon strain, it all went in the freezer. If not for all of their expectations set by FastBuds, i would likely have loved at least one of the plants. The one labeled PL1 was a monster. It produced over 27oz of trimmed wet bud. The hat is more than the other 3 plants combined. With a total of 53 Oz of trimmed wet bud harvested and frozen. The one that i labeled PL4 was insanely frosty when compared to the other 3 phenos. I have clones of bother PL1 and PL4 that i may consider using for breeding projects where i want a strong lemon. The other two plants were mostly forgettable.
