Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week Five and Flowering has begun Will fold in Bio-Bloom and replace Fix Mix with Bio-grow , may add some Phos via top dressing as well. Yellowing continues to recede just not fast enough for my comfort. Brandy has obviously stunted considerably and Maggie at least somewhat. Could not expect differently Moving to Flowering tent soon as its clear, couple of days at most 10/28 UPDATE Going to play on a couple of hunches at next watering. Need to get a TDS meter soon, got a feeling it would help. Ever since we went to BioBizz we have experienced a variety of oddness in the vein of this grow. Now long term since we are switching to coco and Flora nuet line that is solved but short term I am switching to Dr. Earth Flower Girl for remainder of grow. Every feeding/watering will be @6.5 PH to 20% run off and checking PH on that. Of course this will be modified based on results. Schedule is a single top dressing at 4 tbs (roughly 2 tsp per gal of soil) covering with 1/2 inch min of coco and 50% perlite as a mulch. Layla must go on her own feeding schedule as she is just so much bigger and drinking well. Will do the feed when moving to Flowering tent in a day or so as that will be about time to water. She looks good if a little darker green than I like. Were it only Layla I might not suspect anything... meh Here is where Grow Diaries saved the day , by going back and looking at past grows we came to suspect the nuet change although initially results were great problems always seemed to follow. In my reaction to that, not knowing, I may have made other mistakes, likely in fact. Its a solid organic and may head off some issues. Simplify As for Bandy and Maggie, still have that bottle of H2O2 on the shelf, need to see some serious improvement real soon. Getting to be now or never Later: Talked to the owner of a hydroponics store who is also a long time grower that knows these nuet lines cold. His take is that it is absolutely the Bio-Bizz nuets, seems they are hard to run alone as they have holes in their make up which will cause mystery deficiencies in some plants and soil mixes. That really pisses me off LoL , my fault though just glad I have partial explanation. Good thing is he was able to show me the CocoTek Grow and Bloom lines and that is going to be the choice, two part feed without complications. Simplify heheh 10/29 Confirmed the dye reading of pot PH on all three by another method. Took a handful sized soil sample from as deep as I could of each pot and placed into a cup, soaked with 7.0 water let stand 15 minutes to stabilize, tested pour off, all at 6.7 so that is NOT the problem. Damn it This is the reasoning: Water goes into the pot at 6.4-6.5 takes the entire system to that level temporarily, it then begins bringing it up to 6.7-6.8ish and that friends covers the entire range of nuet take-up in soil. Going to cheat a bit high and make it 6.5 solid as its good on acid content. Least thats how I see it, back to basics so may as well. Top dressing Layla today with Flower Girl, others follow when pots dry out a bit more. Moved to Flowering Tent , something came up and they still have not been feed will try and do it this afternoon. 10/30 Fed Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 4 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) 11/1 Defoliated Layla (about 3%) so the center of the plant gets good light, did a little training on Brandy to keep things dry, Maggie... man just letting it grow I am just flabbergasted at this yellow leaf thing Pics at watering tomorrow 11/2 No water today, they dont need it.

Semana 9 de floracion.

Man what a busy week. I left for a small vacation with the family and left the plants in the care of someone and luckly everything is still alive lol. Then today I almost forgot to post my weekly diary because I was busy build my new grow office and moving all the equipment in. The room I built is where all the plants well eventually end up ones my coco and perlite arrive. This washing machine strain is growing really strong. Not surprising seeing as how nice ripper seeds strains have bee so far. Only one plant of the 15 ive done has been a dud. Roots are at the bottom of the 1 gal pot and well need to be transplanted soon. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone.

All is going well. But noticed the top leaf tips turning brown, raised the lights and will keep an eye on it. Apart from that it has been a standard week.

This week has been good, no surprises the pistols are really starting to show in the Zkittles and the Cheese is next is going to be next. The Lemon pie is a little bit behind in this round but I have another that’s 2 weeks younger and twice the height. Did some defoliantion a day or two ago everything seems to be happy

This week was good, Did the transplant from 7.5L/2Gal to 28L/7Gal, Stared to do some LST but the main stem broke on two "blue and Red" of the three plants. Kinda sucks but a bit to aggressive, on the third plant "yellow" I also used LST just not as strong and got the shape and placement I was looking for. Will have to wait for the others to heal and then I can try again. IDK how long it will take, but I'll give it a full week. Sucks as the tips will be getting more light then the others. I also ran out of soil so had to make up a half batch as well to top off the pots, got about 8L leftover for transplanting the peppers and what not, tents so full I had to remove the clones and one smaller plant. They are growing in a window now. The extras where Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4, Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4, Gaia Green Insect Frass 3-2-4, Gaia Green Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, Bokashi Grains, Epsom Salts, Yeast Powder, Fluvic Acids, Enzymes, Silicon and Multiple Microbes. PH adjusted really low as the amendments have a lot of rock dusts and such, wanted them to be broken down by the time the roots reach em. Watered in with 4L on each container, Should be ok for the first few days, will need to judge how they are doing in a bit and see if their roots are colonizing the new area. no idea how the clones will do outside the tent, Still have them in a plastic bag till I can see roots in the containers they are in. Checking about once a week. My goal is to veg this out for another 3-4 weeks and top it one last time they switch to bloom with a SROG net, should have good coverage and lots of cola sites per plant. Day 74 and there getting chopped today! I thought the harvest was going to be broken into two separate weeks considering the times on the Choco was listed about 7-10 days sooner then the DD (wich was listed at 70 days for flowering) However looking at the tricombs on the Chocolate Marshmallow most pheno didnt start getting amber untill the DDs did as well! A couple DD pheno could have maybe gone a couple more days but we will see! Going for reveg on all the pheno, since i didnt get to take any clones. We will see how it goes!

Blue Dream Auto has grown a little, but I think more was going on in the coco mix. I imagine she will make some progress this next week. She looks healthy and she is getting nutrition with the darker shade of green development in her leaves. Week 3 of flowering! I am planning on moving the girls into a bit bigger tent (70x70x160) so hopefully I have a bit more room to grow tall. They will probably reach about 60 cm and that is the limit for the current tent. I hope to get the humidity down to the range of 40%, but this month is very humid in Berlin 😶‍🌫️

As you can see, our macro lens arrived, we were able to take several photos and see the trichomes, we had never seen them so close before. We also noticed that many pistils have turned brown in the last days of this week but the trichomes are clear yet. The smell is getting stronger, reminds us of fresh fruits, mango and a little citrus. We are excited, she is healthy and smells good, but a little concerned with the development of buds and if they are within the standards for this week. Despite having many trichomes and the pistils turning brown, we are not noticing a significant fattening of the flowers (correct us if we are wrong). hahaha, noob stuff =)

This was the week I decided to take a look at my trichomes with about 2-3 weeks left why not see what’s in store for me. And what I saw was some pretty milky stuff with surprisingly some amber to me that just means I’m going to get some good thc levels I’m shooting for at least 22-25% thc wish me luck we are almost there final stretch

So the net is installed, lets wait until it is full covered and then going into bloom. I make this time a trial only to feed the Organe sherbet with Melass yeast buddermilk and sugar in vegetation. The yeast will produce the whole grow enough co2 to keep it up about 800 ppm only thing you have to do is to put some sugar in the feeding solution.

Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Royal Critical is now 41cm tall and around 100cm away from the light. 50% Humidity 28C under the canopy/on the ground under the leaves 31C Air temperature. Sometimes, occasionally one or two "teenagers" or "baby" Gnats would fly out from bottom of pot or top of the soil after watering but that's like nothing comparing to what I had at the beginning. Right now plants sitting at 30.6C @ 55% RH So I'm sitting at 1.27 VPD?
