Week 3: TrolMaster Chronicles – Transplanting, Growing Strong, and Thriving in PRO-MIX HP 🌱✨ Hey Grow Fam! Another exciting week has flown by in the grow room, and I’m thrilled with the progress! We kicked off Week 3 with our first set of transplants. The Gorilla Melon was transplanted at the end of the week, while the Papaya Zoap is still patiently waiting for its turn to shine. Each plant that’s been transplanted is now comfortably settled in 15-liter Autopots, filled with PRO-MIX HP BIOFUNGICIDE + MYCORRHIZAE, and wow, I’m loving this mix! 🌱 Why PRO-MIX HP is a Game-Changer For those of you unfamiliar with PRO-MIX HP, let’s take a closer look. This soil provides superior drainage and aeration, thanks to its high porosity. The addition of fibrous peat moss and coarse perlite creates an ideal environment for water flexibility. It’s been perfect for the girls as they transition into their final homes. Plus, the biofungicide and mycorrhizae are doing wonders for root development, giving them all the support they need for vigorous growth. We’re sitting at: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Relative Humidity: 62.9% • VPD: 1.30 (I know it’s a bit high, but they’re handling it like champs) • CO2: 800 ppm • pH: 6.18 • TDS: 215 ppm • Solution Temperature: 23.2°C To make things even more efficient, I’ve adjusted the light height, keeping the PPFD around 360 to 400 to save on energy. These beauties are still soaking in the light perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with how they’re responding. 💧 Watering and Feeding At this stage, the plants are thriving with just enough nutrients to keep them happy. I’ve kept things simple with a balanced solution, ensuring everything stays within the perfect range. So These girls are doing great in my unprofessional opinion lol. they all look like they could use a cleanup but man if I come at them again like Sweeny Todd I don't think they will make it haha. This is rolling into week 3 so I'm going to wait just a couple of days and then I'm going to hard Lolipop and defoliate just a wee tad more. I'm just worried I could herm one out and I don't really know what to do with that situation. I've been playing around with Great White and that's been fun but aside from that, I'm just weaving these tops through squares. those corners could be a problem but let me know in the comments if you think I need additional light in the center or your thoughts. Buds starting to form!!!! Day 2 of week 8 4/3/25 UPDATE: Flushed with Fox farm sledgehammer ph’d at 6.8 Soils were low at 5.8 4/5/25 update: fed with nutes 4/7/25: watered with plain water ph’d at 6.5 4/8/25: did a slight heavy defoliation to get ready for week 9!

7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I've seen lots of lightning bugs on my camera though and grasshoppers are abundant. Not one growth shoot has been chewed (knock on wood) which is what the earwigs had always done. I watched a video from last year and by nowcthey had lollipopped all lower leaves. It may not be the best weather growing season wise but despite the rh consistently in the 90's I still don't have pm or fungal pathogens. Need to get the BT out. Didn't water as we've had all that rain. I'll water either tonight or tomorrow morning. Sunny high in the 90s low is 66. Tomorrow looks good too. UPDATE WENT BACK OVER AROUND FIVE. IT WAS 88 DEGREES SO I WANTED TO CHECK THE GROW BAGS. THE POTS ARE FINE. IT WAS HUMID AS HELL. ONE PLANT WAS SLIGHTLY DROOPY BUT VERY LIGHT AND DRY. I FOUND TWO OTHERS THAT SEEMED LIGHTER THAN THE REST BUT HADNT DROOPED. I MIXED TWO GALLONS OF WATER WITH 1TSP KANGOROOTS AMD PHED IT CLOSE TO 6. I FED THE 3 PLANTS THAT WERE SUPER DRY LIKE A HALF GALLON AND SPRED THE REST OVER THE OTHER EIGHT PLANTS. THEY WERENT DROOPING BUT THEY WERE VERY DRY. I PLAN ON A FULL WATER TOMORROW. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. I took stills and they all uploaded but didn't fucking save. I'm nit going to keep trying to upload if it's not going to. Noticed a few more holes in leaves and one skeletinized leaf so I need to either spray the bt or something more versatile. I'm putting more poison around the cage and de between the bags. I'll go check things out tonight. Sick of writing a book and uploading to just hace them disappear 7/9 Did a quick video today. Noticed the bags were fairly light despite the plants being soaked amd the pallets wet. I was pressed for time. I gave two gallons to the entire garden. I hope that will hold them over until tomorrow. I'll need to up how much water I give them. Going with a gallon and a half next time. I see more pillar spots and a moth took off when I shook the plants this morning. So I'm gonna have too apply the BT. I figure if I go over before dark tonight I might be able to see aju nocturnal insects around. Luckily my dad feeds the birds and they are always there. I think they help with pests. UPDATE IT WAS A LITTLE COOLER TODAY BUT MICH MORE HUMID. I WENT AROUND SIX TO MAKE SURE THE GIRLS WERE OK WITH WATER AND TO GIVE THEM A TREATMENT OF BT. I WENT THROUGH THE GARDEN ANDCGOUND THREE LEQVES TO DEFOLIATE AND LITERALLY A COUPLE LEAVES ON TWO PLANTS WITH PILLAR HILESM WHEN I ARRIVED TWO BIRDS FLEW OUT. A HORNET CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.

We are at day 21 on this gorilla cookies. I think she would be quite a bit bigger if I didn't break one of the mains on week 2 but she is still chugging along and growing well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

Beginning of week 2! Flowering is progressing nicely. All plants have been sexed. Ended up being 11:11 female:male. Can't complain Already got some stud males picked out from the hash plants and the Zed blacks. Rainbow belts f3 had one male and 2 female. The females appear to have two smells but identical looking growth. Tall and thin leaves. Little stretch. The male is short and stocky. No stretch at all. I have stopped feeding since I saw slight nitrogen toxicity in several plants. I've marked that they are more sensitive which is something I view positively in a no till living soil situation as long as the flowers can back them up. To control my water pH I am using 12% humic acid and highly fermented kombucha that is practically vinegar. Not great for the overall microbe population in the kombucha but good for lowering a 9+pH solution that comes out of my tap. I am pitching recharge in about .5tsp/gal as well. Plants are looking good. I have noticed that the Zed black is growing better under lower humidities. I have my lights off during the day in order to reduce the humidity load on my plants. At night when humidity spikes I'll rely on the LED light to burn off a lot of the humid air. However if I had watered recently, which is becoming every other day at this point, the humidity with remain high for awhile. I have now added a dehumidifier. It's been helping a lot and ZB is doing better. Update 1.5 week Flowers are stacking. Mostly in the males lol. But the female bracts are starting to swell. Now onto the stem rubs HP: WOW. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I cannot tell if I hate this with a deep passion or I'm just wanting to grow it out for morbid curiosity. Smells like nail polish remover plus sulfur. I would feel bad giving this to someone because it smells so bad. Had a few that smell more like a freshly opened can of tennis balls that I dig. ZB: very strong pinene smells. Earthy and spicy. Little bit of citrus. Nothing out of the ordinary. Grown many hash plants and this a quintessential example Rainbow belts 3.0: I got a zkittles pheno with classic flavor. Fruit. But with a slight rotten citrus undertone that gives it a little character. Another one is pure pine sol. 100% pine sol. I do honestly love this flavor. Will be using both for seed making. The male is lemon lime candy. Will be pollen source.

Starting the sixth week of my ladies. Cleaning the bottom and removing the « suckers » (future popcorn buds at the basis) to get more energy to the top !

A beautiful structure to this plant and complemented nicely by its unique smell. Shaping up to carry some football sized colas, really excited about this harvest. Beastie Bloom and a sweetener is being used for the next few weks. Buds are packing on weight and hardeneing up!!!

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow! Fast Buds 420 Gorilla Cookies 4/30 started paper towel method 5/4 sprout formed 5/5 planted. Used seedling soil, embedded in Build A Soil. Humidity dome used.

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Day 57 Day 7 Flower 28/06/24 Friday Feed today pH 6.0 -5L No run off. Day 59 Day 9 Flower 30/06/24 Sunday Water + calmag today pH 6.0 - 3L Noticed her starting to throw her pistils out now 😍 . Day 60 Day 10 Flower 01/06/24 Monday Water only today 3L Picture update. I'll get better ones once I can take her out later 🙌💚 Day 61 Day 11 Flower 02/07/24 Tuesday Feed today Full 5L pH 6.0 Run off 5-10%. Looking droopy again today, noticed she was quite dry this time, so fed a large amount and will check again in 12 hours the moisture levels. She' seems to be getting super thirsty 🤯. Bud sites now forming. A nice berry/wood aroma ATM. Picture update 😍 Day 63 Day 13 Flower 04/07/24 Thursday (end of week) Water today with DynoMoCo 1tbsp- 5L. Week four marks the true beginning of the flowering phase. Both Pink Rosay ladies have shifted gears and are now growing explosively. The first pistils are clearly visible across both phenotypes, and they look fresh, vibrant, and full of energy. It’s always a beautiful moment when that transition becomes undeniable. The difference between the two phenos is becoming more pronounced. The left plant is stretching much more vigorously, while her sister on the right remains more compact and reserved in her growth. Running two different expressions in the same space always comes with a bit of uncertainty — especially without clones — but that’s part of the adventure. Let’s see how it plays out. For now, I’m deliberately avoiding any defoliation. I don’t want to encourage additional stretch, as they’re already growing fast enough as it is. Sometimes doing less is the better strategy, especially in a limited vertical space like this. At this stage, everything looks healthy and well-balanced. The structure is forming, the flowering sites are multiplying, and the energy in the tent is clearly shifting. The real show is about to begin 🌸
