It was a great nine week flower, there were no issues during growth and was solid all around. The Spliff genetics is great with there signature colas.. the plants took to the nutrients very well, I thought I was running a little high on my ppm on beginning of grower but it all leveled out and nothing burned the leaves or bugs. I used general hydroponics flora pro series, with fish sh!t all the way threw!!!

Today was the day, unfortunately about a week in advance because of an infestation of Mites that reached the buds of all 4 plants left. After reasoning, interrogating AI and watching a video, I had to harvest in advance and I decided to do a washing with H2O2 as per this video explanation of Jorge Cervantes, available at this link (https://youtu.be/S7jE7qzfgQs?si=eC6klOXkWz9eBJO3). I am providing photos and video also of this step I made.

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

I'm excited for this one, really skunky smell and lovely buds. Hey growth was right on point with a auto and having her under 24 hours if light a day really fattened up her flowers. -6/11/23 Start of Week --Week 12/Flower 6 -6/17/23 (Day 91/Flower 43) --Observations: starting to get the classic cannabis scent, there is a lot going on under what is seeable from the top, leaf tips nutrient burnt --Changes: increased amount of water per day, stopped giving nutrients during the week, removed more of the lemon basil, upped the intensity of the light (62%) --Comments: started giving more water at the beginning of this week (about 22 oz daily) but had to stop adding nutrients every time because leaf tips started getting burnt. removed more of the lemon basil because it had started growing over the purple lemonade, the basil is growing like crazy. finally got a closer look at the inner growth of the purple lemonade and there is far more going on than I originally thought, looking like this might be the best grow I have done so far. purple lemonade scent is starting to intensify and gain the classic cannabis smell but still has the lemon citrus scent. decided to increase light intensity instead of lowering height from plant, light is now at about 62%. -6/17/23 End of Week -Post-Week note: decided to put the actual height of the top of the colas instead of the distance from the base to the top of the main stem, past weeks have also been updated.

Trimming started on day 11 of drying an took roughly 5 hours to complete. The yield was 644 of dried flower and another 8 grams of dry sift from the trim bin. I pressed 6 oz into flower rosin with about 20 percent yield with a total of 35g of rosin.

Week 5 begins! Mandarin dreams 1 & 2 are doing well, however MD1 stinks like shit 💩 and MD2 has a mild earthy smell. Increased feeding to 5 liters per plant and did some defoliation of the yellowing leaves. Moved the ladies to the other side of the room for the rest of the grow. Thanks for stopping by 👽🌳🔥
