Beginning of week.. She is doing amazing! Runoff is right where it needs to be.. leaves are looking nice and green with not so much leaf burning on the tips anymore.. new sets of leaves daily! Gonna need to lollipop a bit more. She should produce a decent harvest! So excited to see what she does in flower! So far, I've noticed that she is making some purple striped stiples at the very crown of each (future) cola! So so excited! Need to raise light up a bit.. I think she's getting over 1000 micromols at the center sine she has stretched a bit... Next day.. Whoops.. not sure how the hell she managed to stretch up to 1400+ micromols so quick.. had to raise the light quite a bit and also dim her down just a tad.. now the center is getting exactly 950 micromols in the center and around 650 - 700 micromols around the edges of the tent (footprint). Perfect! I noticed some purpling on a couple of the higher leaves.. these were the leaves getting over 1400 micromols and temps have been another lower than anticipated. So if she starts turning purple this early on, then WOW!.. She should make some pretty colorful colas! Mid week.. She really needs a haircut. She has grown a few nodes on each branch just in the last 7 days or even less. So beautiful! Humidity is being a bitch right now. Up to 70% and my dehumidifier can't even get it to drop a little.. ugh. Cold front blowing through as I type this, so hopefully it'll blow this moisture out by the end of the day. Pistols should be making a crown pretty soon! Still stretching like crazy. She still has plenty of head room for it.. but damn, I really need to get some of these leaves and lower branches out of the way. That should help bring the RH down quite a bit too.. I know she isn't THAT big, but it's still gonna take me awhile to trim her up.. kinda wondering if I could wait till next week and get it all done at once.. cuz I feel like she may need one more with the speed she's been stretching at. Next day... Went ahead and removed ALOT of foliage.. humidity should go down quite a bit.. these leaves give off a very strong skunky scent.. can't wait to see the terp action of this strain! "OoOo.. Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of bud sites developing! I'm excited to see the growth weekly and their colors!

01/06 - Transplant into 7 gallon pot successful - nute feeds have increased in doses - AC infinity supplement lights added to 2x2 tent working in combination with Marydro light for under canopy coverage😎😎😎 01/11 - No transplant shock into 7 gallon pot - She is coming along nicely with no issues - Fan leaves are sturdy and mid grow coming in effectively 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

It is getting real bushy in there and i have some thirsty plants. Tent is getting pretty packed and the stretch is on. I might have to water almost everyday, I suspect them to be on the edge of rootbound. Should have went with 14 liter pots or might even 18. Smell is amazing and they are starting to get sticky when i pick fan leaves. Defoliation is coming at the end of next week tho. But it is really bushy i have been picking tons of leaves so far. Tempted to strip them sooner than 21 days into flower but we will see.
