The strain has proven to be extremely sturdy compared to the autoflower version. The smell has been a bit problematic. Some terpenes just can't seem to be tamed even with a brand new carbon air filter. I hope this pays off in terms of aroma quality :)

The final week for both grapefruit by Fast Buds I have given another generous feeding of a compost tea to ensure all the microbes are at their full strength before the flushing begins next week. Both are frosting up nicely and showing a little stress from the light, bleaching the top colas and causing some foxtailing. I’ve increased tent air flow, reduced temps and will leave it at that. Trichomes ate quickly clouding up so I’m giving extra attention to time the chop right, my prediction is that it will be in the next 2 weeks. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail….. This week, I had to cut three leaves—two smaller ones that looked like some kind of insect had laid eggs on them, and one of the big sun leaves. Finally, I can see some brown trichomes on the B-grade buds. I thought about harvesting soon, but it will probably take another two weeks or so... Or I may have to harvest her week by week. I haven't decided yet. What I can say is that increasing the amount of fertilizer has helped improve the health of the leaves. I should have increased it sooner; it seems that autos need more nutrients earlier than photoperiod plants.

A smaller one on where i applied 2 techniques, a double topping (Topping x3), and a bit defoliation as can be shown in the video, she ended up with 0.5 m tall, 4 main colas, and the most dense buds i had among my autos. @Weight: The weight dried was surprisingly equal in both plants, while the bigger plant ended up in 67 gr, the small one was 62 gr and with much more bud density and crystal concentration, anyway both plants were very dense and crystal poblated. On wet, the weights were 276 g vs 226 g the smaller, what is translated wet2dry in a 24,28% vs 27,43% for the smaller one FTW!. That difference is very well appreciated in the density of the smaller plant buds, while both are very dense/compact/strong, the smaller plant buds are really MoonRocks. @Trim: Well well well, this part was awesome, very very very little amount of trim material, i finish the trimming of the bigger plant in about 6 min and 15 for the smaller what is real awesome in both cases, and the quality of the trims was incredible too, very good to ice wash it. @ Final product: The final product is almost equal in both plants, the smallest one acquired a stronger taste and concentration of crystals than the taller one, while both tastes are strong grapefruit, when you smoke buds from the small one is like real eating a grapefruit and it leaves a residual taste to orange some seconds after exhaling it, and when you touch or tear up any of both plants, the smell is also very strong to Grapefruit. My friends were shocked by the strong taste and smell to grapefruit it has, really. Me he quedado sorprendido por la poca cantidad de material a pelar y la calidad de la misma, excelente para hacer bubble hash. @ Producto final: El producto final es casi igual en ambas plantas, la pequeña ha adquirido un sabor más fuerte y una concentración de cristales superior a la planta grande, mientras que ambas saben fuertemente a pomelo, cuando fumas de la pequeña, es como estar metiéndote un pomelo en la boca además de que deja un ligero sabor a naranja después de exhalarla. A la hora de tocarla o desmenuzar cualquiera de ellas el resultado es igualmente un fuerte aroma a pomelo. Mis amigos fumadores se quedaron realmente impresionados del fuerte sabor cítrico a pomelo que tiene, en serio, es increíble. Day 65, 17th of November 2020: Very excited 😁 I just saw the red colour is coming along the leaves and the pistils so early I am so happy she will be a beauty ;) Streching has stopped buds are on the menu now... Some lollipopping (defoliation) has been done and also removed all the old LST's as the plant remains in shape from now. Fertilization is still the same like before happens every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

she is still branching, so i realized she needed ore space and put her out in a larger 4x4 tent as compare to the orignal 2'x2'. the tent has more cmlights then the single one in the smaller tent - this made the girl start to uptake nutrients such that there is very little drained to waste. i also put a screen to start scroging over her. the screen has large holes, so i think it may require high stress training to move the stems to the next section without breaking them. the data from grow rooms sensors etc gets overwhelming quickly and i can't really keep up. so i created a graphical animation visualizing for the composite garden data from the live garden sensor data. this is fun as things on the dashboard change colors and shape based on the sensor status. it is also interactive as i can also send commands to say control the lights, pump by clicking on them on the animation. . i am still using my doser to mix nutrients and then refill this garden manually. besides the plant response to the increased lighting , all other conditions i can adjust are still similar.
