Vamos familia, empieza lo bueno, y es que estás gorillas si han estirado, la primera semana de floración, aportamos algo de big bud para ir amoldándolas. Es una cepa que se comporta bastante bien en indoor, tallo grueso y bastante distancia entre internudos, deseando ver que flores nos da. ph controlado en 6,5 ahora va todo fenómeno, temperaturas ideales, humedad correcta 50 % , y pronto la bajaremos a 40 %. Hasta ahora lo que hay, próximamente nos vemos familia.

La planta ya tiene al rededor de 76 días mientras el banco sugiere cosechar de 70-74 días, estamos atentos a que los tricomas comiencen a tornearse cafés, el 10% para cosechar, al parecer está a menos de una semana.

Its been a good week they are smelling pretty strong already. Switched to early bloom feeding. They started to stretch pretty good this week and, were taking up water quicker than i realized so I topped the pots off with some extra soil and started to water heavier they are thirsty.

This update was made Day 58 from seed. I just now realized I've had my day count offset by about 2-3 days. No biggie, at least it's been rectified. Anyways, onto the update. Beautiful deep purple tones have begun peeking throughout the plant. Similar to my lemon berry but with more of a magenta hue. Feedings have been rather frequent. 2-3 nute feedings last week. With XSD. For the rest of the grow, XSD will be omitted. Just molasses and Liquid Seaweed from here on out. Absolutely love the development of this photo period variety. I'll probably give this strain a rest for the next journal, however. Still need to spread my wings with Ethos' catalogue.

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Got some leaf taco ing, and a two of the plants have developed some yellow leaves, burnt tips, I don't think it's nute burn as amount of nutes watering every 2 to 3 days is very low, I thought possibly potassium deficiency, increased fish mix slightly, the yellowing is not effecting the top leaves only so I didn't think light burn, I've moved the light up a few inches to be on safe side and turned power down from 70 percent to 60 percent, using photone app to measure DLI/par intensity and reading about 700 so possibly too high. Gonna flush the two plants worse effected, PH testing RO filtered water to 6.5, also added a bit of cal mag, hopefully following the flush, should sort itself. Any advice greatly appreciated fellow growmies :)

Both girls are healthy and happy. Buds are solid although still a bit small. Today my Mars Hydro TSW2000 arrived and it's already unpacked and hung. I raised the light dustance to 45 cm. I also moved the cheapo 100w LED to 2 new FastBuds Zkittlz Auto seedlings. Wow, what a difference good lighting makes!! The Mars Hydro TSW2000 is well made, easy to install and bright-ass daylight LED!! I expect to see significant fattening of the buds over the next 2-3 weeks. Update: I swear the existing buds doubled in size within the last 24 hrs after switching out the light to the Mars Hydro. I'm excited to see how these 2 finish. 4/22 update: I'll be damned! The box from the new light (which is heavy, double wall corrugated) fell onto both plants...I heard snapping everywhere! Good ole electrical tape to the rescue!! These girls look wounded with all this black tape! It's several hours after bandaging and I see no wilting or noticable changes....keeping my fingers crossed! The videos show both plants pretty well recovered from the damage except the purple stems and veins. I have some cal/mag coming Monday.... hoping that will fix that issue. Both are loving this new light and continue to pack on the bud weight.

This weather's been crazy! We've been stuck in this deep freeze for over a week now. The temperature hasn't climbed above freezing for like 10 days – it's brutal out there. And to make things worse, with all this cold, the humidity's been acting weird. It's really hard on the plants, especially without the sun to help them dry out a Little. Even though they're a little behind the others, those permanent marker plants are looking good. Being so close to the light must be helping them stack up those buds, so hopefully it's just a matter of time before they really start to shine.

Another steady week of bud development. I haven't really done much with those apart from the occasional removal of yellow leaves and tucking nuisance leaves under the net. The plants are all still growing in line with the previous expectations, with Topping and LST being the biggest, Mainlined next and then LST only in last place. It will be interesting to see the results though. Should only be a few more weeks until harvest, as a large majority of trichomes are already milky.

In the beginning of this week ( Monday in the late afternoon) I started seeing some burnt tips. Not really a big deal if you give less nutrients in the future, but i don't like it. Thats why i decided to flush my plants and check the run-off. PH levels where decent but the EC was to high. Not a suprise because I forced them a bit last week by giving some more nutrients. So right now my PH and EC for the kushes are arround PH 5.8-6 with 1.3-1.5 EC and for my shamans PH 6.3-6.4 with ec 1.5-1.6 After my flush, I gave all the plants some Canna RHIZOTONIC ( root stimulator). I advice everyone to give root stimulator after stressing the plant out with like flushing. In this grow i always weight my pots, therefor i always know when to perfectly feed them. They dronk 9 to 10 liters of water/feeding in like 96hours(4 full days) which is insane because it wasn't that sunny/hot (evaporation) and they are not trees being in the open ground. and maybe the most importent thing is that normaly your roots will stress a bit because of overwatering(flushing) and will go into a shutdown or having a hard time for a period as a result that your pots will stay heavy(full of water) for some days. In my case, this didn't happen at all. Wednesday I sprayed all the leafs with Canna Cure for some nice leaf nutrients,getting rid of minor trips and to prevent other unwanted renters. Friday I started feeding them again with nutrients, like 2-3 liters each plant and today I gave them water 2-3 liters each plant with only Enzymen in it. It was a crazy thirsty week for them with an average of 1.6-1.7 liters a day😅 Sadly one lower branch got damaged and had to get rid of it but I didn't mind that much since these buds where far behind other buds in developement. I placed one bud under the microscope for fun and saw insane amounts of thc on it haha, and that for just week 5 of flowering for a outside grow. Made a picture of it, just take a look at it. - Critical kushes started getting into preflower, finnally!! but still, only 6 weeks left before it gets to cold outside. - Did some LST again because the criticalkushes are still stretching. They might still stretch for another 1 to 2 weeks, its getting out of hand haha. - Shamans and the critical kushes get different feeding schedules, Should had done that waaaaay earliyer but I didn't care about it until now. - Forgot to supercrop my plants LOL, for the shamans it is to late, don't want to stress them out in their stage, but i did in on the kushes, since they are only 1 week in flowering, still growing a bit, it would't harm them that much. No need for steering them around, already done that. Just doing it to stress them out a bit so they will send more nutrients to the branches for bigger yield. Have to keep remind myself that this is just an outside fun grow but I just can't help myself buying stuff and wanting to do more/better. Hope you guys enjoyed watching and reading.
