Week 9 - Day 58 - 02/23 to 2/28 2021 All phone pictures. New lights killing it. Great Candy/Citrus smell to it / Very similar to the Dark Devil beside it in profile/build structure. Gave all the plants mostly water feeds this week in order to avoid salt build up. Some staining on the bottom of the fabric pots from the bottom feeds so just making sure the soil is fine for the final major nute feeds before flushing in a week or so. Made some caps with homemade thc olive oil from a friend that sent me some "Intergalactic Cable" viewing materials as well 😎 Have to use them fast but been stable for a week and not just starting to come through the gel caps, will have to get something harder next time still a lot left in the bottle. Still clear signs of the Tobacco Mosaic/Genetic issue in the leaves but clearly not affecting anything else, might tip the top of the bud when i start the flush to have it back build on itself and see how dense I can make it once it's dried. Other than that, the new @MarsHydroLED TSL 2000 and @ViparSpectraLED PS1500 for veg definitely made a huge difference and the buds on the Dark Devil. 🌸 Week 5 Flower – RollerCoaster Haze 🌸 The RollerCoaster Haze girls are thriving in mid-flower, building structure and stacking buds at an incredible pace. Both phenos are stretching into the canopy with strength, white pistils everywhere, and flower sites developing beautifully. The plants are balanced, vibrant, and showing no signs of stress, just healthy, determined growth. 💧 Nutrition & Feeding This week we’ve adjusted the recipe, stopping the All-in-One Liquid completely as the soil and pellets still provide plenty of slow-release nutrition. The focus now is on a lean, targeted bloom feed, keeping the roots active without oversaturating. Current recipe (all at 1ml/L): • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Plagron Green Sensation • Plagron Sugar Royal • Plagron Power Buds Solution runs steady at pH 6.0–6.1 with EC balanced to complement the soil’s reserves. The results speak for themselves: stalks, roots, and leaves are thriving, and the flowers are coming on strong. Environment • Soil Temp: ~24°C • Room Temp: ~28–29°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa Airflow, extraction, and monitoring keep the conditions stable. Despite the size of these girls, they’re handling the environment perfectly. 💡 Inner Canopy Lighting – ICL300 This week I want to highlight the role of the ICL300 inner canopy lights. Why does this matter? • As plants stretch and leaves overlap, the lower branches and bud sites often receive far less light. Without supplemental lighting, these inner flowers stay smaller, less dense, and less developed. • Inner canopy lights like the ICL300 solve this by pushing photons directly into those shaded areas, ensuring the lower and middle buds get the energy they need to bulk up. Spectrum: The ICL300 units provide a balanced white spectrum with a red push, tailored to maximize flowering response while avoiding heat stress. This means not only are the tops getting stacked, the inner and lower flowers are also swelling, making for a more even, consistent harvest. The difference is visible already: the RollerCoaster Haze girls aren’t just top-heavy. The mid-canopy sites are developing beautifully, with structure filling out in layers instead of just one dominant top. 🌼 Pistils: White Hairs Everywhere At Week 5, pistils (the fine white hairs that emerge from each calyx) are one of the clearest signs of flower development. They serve two major purposes: • Reproduction: pistils are part of the female flower’s reproductive system, designed to catch pollen if it’s present. • Growth indicator: the color, abundance, and orientation of pistils give us a direct look into the maturity of the flower. Some genetics push out bright white pistils, while others lean slightly toward cream, yellowish, or even orange tones earlier in bloom. This variation is completely normal and tied to the plant’s lineage. At this stage, the RollerCoaster Haze girls are full of vigorous white pistils, standing tall and reaching outwards. This shows they are actively building flowers and pushing energy into new calyx formation. It’s also a reminder that this week is about observation: watching how the pistils evolve will tell us not only about maturity, but also about how each pheno expresses itself. Day 1 Today is the first day of flower here we go doing a water changer in 2 or 3 days will set it to 900 or so can't wait to see the first buds on my girls a lot of love in this grow Day 2 Ppm at 450 now time to change out tomorrow Day 3 have a five gallon bucket at 1500 PPM to add back during this week is the reservoir gets low. ppm's are at 1150 with a fresh change of all the water we'll see how she's doing tomorrow Day 4 had a major disaster last night went in to check everything and have an inch of water inside of the tentnot too much water drain from the pots that the roots got dry but it did sprung a leak when I change the water out I filled the buckets too high so my sealed job broke had to think on my feet put the 4 plants into DiY dwc buckets I built with their bubble inside no way of maintaining the temperature in there going to have to get some kind of a new epoxy and hopefully have the system up and running tomorrow. Day 5 all is well with the grow again completely cleaned out the system and all the buckets put the new epoxy on there and everything is leak free did another exchange what the plants back to their original pots with a slight adjustment to the placement I hope the stress of moving the girls is not going to affect my yields too much it is only day five of flower hopefully everything's smooth sailing from here on out P.s had to add the 5-gallon of 1500 PPM nute solution to the reservoir to get everything at the proper level along with some extra Cal mag and a small amount of the other nutes the PPM in the system is now at 740 Day 6 happy to say not much to report lol everything looks good 🙂 Day 7 week over

Hello This is the end of week 14 and the beginning of week 15 of veg. Plant #6 is looking alot less yellow. It's green on the growing tips and still a bit yellow on the bottom leaves. When I repotted them the last time, I thought I put in enough compost in to keep them green without giving food for a month or so. But Plants #5 and #6 got compost from the top of the bin where there is less worm action... so less food. Since I've been giving full nutrient/food, they have been doing and looking a lot better.. It's still a couple of weeks before I force flowering. So I'll leave them alone for a week and a bit and then do a LST and take clones about 5 days before going into flowering. The plants smell great... Sorta a gelato type of smell that stays on the clothes for hours when working with them. So... Yes... I'll take clones of these great smelling plants and use the essential oil sprays (see weeks 2, 3 and 4) to get rid of any unwanted pests... OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Week 3-4 Got plenty of rain over the weekend so I'm sure I won't have to water for a few days. The plants have a nice natural canopy of trees above the greenhouse and we decided to take the roof part of the greenhouse off so the plants can breathe and get adequate air flow. I have the fans blowing on them to keep air circulating to strengthen the stem and to keep pests from landing. The sun makes the plants look yellow in the video, they are not yellow anywhere just to be clear. They seem to be doing great but this is my first rodeo and my sister who has experience seems to think they are coming along nicely and should do just fine. Let's hope so 🤞
