But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Coming back strong.. flipped the light schedule on 8/6 and changed the formula in the RES for transition. Plucked some big fans off that were blocking lowers. Will be stripping all fans in two days, and a full strip 19 days after. Going in tonight and cutting some lower BS off so it can focus it's energy elsewhere. I should have vegged longer so I can reach that 1/2lb goal. The tent is nowhere near full, so I doubt I'll hit it this time. Will be saving a cut from this pheno to run again in the future. -Flower day 2 she's looking real happy this morning. has been drinking quite a bit and eating as well. was on a 2-2-2 formula, now on a 2-2-3 as of this mornings top off. the main stem is nearly an inch in diameter and growing holy fuck. will be stripping the big fans off tomorrow, and trimming some lower shit off. will have before/after pics F Day6 just noticed my nutrients changed from GHE to something else?? TF? General hydroponics flora series not even listed anymore? Ah well.. RES clean/change today. Prob shoulda stripped more fans the other day, but shit happens and we learn from it right??

she looks really nice. the buds are getting thicker and the smell more intense. but she still has a few weeks to go. luckily no more mould or anything like that so far.

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

Big Fat Wedding Cake grew well under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. Nice frosty colas with a spicy kush smell. Looks very potent and tasty. I did burn her in flowering when the nutrition got too strong for her. My bad. She still turned out great. Bueno , este es el segundo cultivo que realizó del la cepa "Waka" , el anterior lo tengo igualmente documentado en otro diario . en esta ocasión cultivamos los clones que habíamos recolectado del cultivo pasado , guardando los fenotipos que nos gustaron más y los clones restantes los pasamos a floración que fueron los que se le hizo seguimiento en este diario. El crecimiento fue bastante explosivo y reaccionaron muy bien a cada trasplante realizado . pude observar que los clones de cada fenotipo seleccionado se desarrolló con mucha similitud al de sus madres . El olor en vegetación es bastante discreto y en floración se pone un más intenso El desarrollo en floración fue explosivo generando bastante resina y se vieron muy hambientras . Al fumar se puede sentir un rico toque cítrico en las N° 4 se siente un fuerte sabor a limón en algunas flores mucho mas marcado que en otras, N° 3 y 13 un agradable toque a naranjas muy rico de sentir en el paladar , La N° 8 con pizcas dulces bastante interesantes. El humo al fumar es muy suave lo que permite sentir mejor el sabor de cada fenotipo.- saludos y buenos humos😉 Al momento de cosechar se cortaron los clone y se dejo secando en oscuridad a temperatura ambiente por cerca de 16 días posterior a eso se pasó a curar en frascos

Flowa-Bloom es la estrella de los nutrientes a incorporar, pero todos son importantes... Así que sigo la tabla de fertilización de JUJU Royal al pie de la letra. Eso si, primero humedezco bien el sustrato con agua, para aprovechar bien la solución con los nutrientes y que no filtre por las macetas textiles. Riego cada cuatro días.

YEEEEEEAAAH BOOOOOI, my fabric pot arrived as i expected so i re-potted my baby about 8pm tonight, i used the same CANNA TERRA PRO Soil as before to fill the fabric pot (Soaked it in water then let to drain) and the transplant went smoothly. A video and photo have been uploaded showing it in its forever pot, and i also installed a proper oscillating fan. 14/09 Checked in on the baby this afternoon and looks like shes handled the re-potting just fine which is great news! Everything else is as per usual so will just throw some update photos on. 15/09 Today I checked in on the baby as usual and everything's looking great, she grew a noticeable difference although that's hard to tell in the photos. I gave her a good watering so the humidity came up to 70% for a short time but that's nothing to worry about. Temperature sat around 22 degrees Celsius all day. Photo's show the top and side views for reference. 16/09 Once again the LSD baby grew a nice amount over the day and is looking stout and healthy. The stem is already hardening off and very thick for its short size so i decided to begin to pull her over using LST as i will need to focus on keeping my plant growing low and across due to the space available in my cupboard. Everything went well during the LST so i have put photos up showing what i have done. Temp and humidity is usual. 17/09 Today after work i decided to finally get the mylar roll out and patch the ends of my cupboard as it was pretty rough with tinfoil. I cut out cardboard walls to shape of the existing ends and then lined the edges with carpet tape. I had someone help hold one side and we just placed it down swiftly flat onto the card. This mostly pulled it tight but its not perfect. Other than that, everything's going as per usual and i've uploaded some update photos 18/09 Nothing much to update today, everything's looking good. The weathers been pretty shit so the humidity is up but thats not a worry right now and summer coming up will eliminate that problem. Have updated a couple of photos, basically the plan is to train the plant along the cupboard as low as possible before tipping. This way i can utilize the short spaced cupboard. 19/09 Updated the photos! Everything's looking good, the temperature that is showing is the evening temperature 'which is affected slightly as the cupboard is in a garage. A little low but will only get better as spring comes in. 20/09
