🌾 Folder 09A | Pink Rosay Auto Week 2 – Building the Foundation of Something Special Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where every phenotype earns its own diary and every plant is allowed to tell its own story. This week belongs to Pink Rosay Auto 09A. From the moment she settled into her new home, she has done little else but impress. Strong growth. Excellent vigor. Beautiful symmetry. And perhaps most exciting of all
An incredible willingness to respond to every bit of training she’s received. Some plants fight you. Others work with you. Pink Rosay A already feels like she’s becoming a true partner in this grow. âž» 🌿 Growing Conditions Every plant in the project continues growing under identical environmental conditions, allowing each phenotype to express its own unique characteristics without external variables influencing the comparison. Environmental Conditions * đŸŒĄïž Day Temperature: 27°C * 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C * 💧 Relative Humidity: 55% * đŸŒ± Root Zone Temperature: 21°C * 💩 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C * ⚡ EC: 1.3 * pH: 6.0 * 💹 CO₂: 666 ppm * 💡 Light Schedule: 12/12 From Seed * ? Pot Size: 15 Litres The room continues to remain exceptionally stable, providing the perfect environment for healthy root development and vigorous vegetative growth. âž» 🌿 Feeding Program Pink Rosay A continued following the complete Plagron Terra nutrition schedule throughout the week. Weekly Feeding * Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L * Power Roots — 1 ml/L * Pure Zym — 1 ml/L * Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L * pH Plus — when required * Lemon Kick — when required The feeding remains intentionally balanced, encouraging explosive root expansion while supplying everything needed for strong structural growth before flowering accelerates. âž» đŸŒ± Plant Development This week has been nothing short of impressive. Every few days she seemed noticeably larger than before. Her central stem has thickened considerably while producing a wonderfully even distribution of side branches that are already beginning to compete with the main leader. The internodal spacing remains tight without becoming overcrowded, creating a compact yet highly productive structure. One of the most enjoyable aspects of watching this phenotype has been the speed at which she responds. Almost overnight, new shoots emerge from every node, eager to occupy every bit of available light. Her leaves display excellent colour, healthy turgor and outstanding vigor, all clear signs that the root system is developing exactly as hoped. She simply looks happy. âž» 🌿 Training Progress This week focused on gentle canopy management and encouraging an even distribution of future flowering sites. Daily leaf tucking exposed developing secondary branches while maintaining excellent airflow through the centre of the plant. Gentle low-stress training helped guide the main branches outward, opening the canopy without slowing her impressive rate of development. What stands out most is how naturally she responds. Every adjustment seems to trigger another burst of growth. Rather than showing signs of stress, she appears to embrace the extra light reaching the lower branches, rewarding each training session with even more vigorous development. It’s exactly the kind of response every grower hopes to see. âž» 📾 Behind This Week’s Photos This week’s photographs tell the story beautifully. Early overhead shots reveal a compact young plant already displaying remarkable symmetry. As the week progresses, that symmetry evolves into a broad, balanced canopy with fan leaves stretching confidently toward the edges of the pot. The macro images highlight vigorous new shoots emerging from every node, each one already preparing to become a future flowering branch. Side profile photographs showcase the increasingly thick central stem supporting a canopy that is becoming wider rather than taller—a fantastic trait for maximizing light distribution under the LED. By the final images of the week, she has transformed from a promising seedling into a confident young plant full of potential. It’s one of those weeks where the camera truly captures the speed of healthy development. âž» 🌾 Looking Ahead The coming week promises to be an exciting one. With her vigorous response to training and naturally balanced architecture, I expect the canopy to continue widening as secondary branches rapidly catch up with the main stem. As flowering begins to approach, the structure already being established should provide an excellent framework capable of supporting numerous evenly developed bud sites. If she continues growing with this level of consistency, Pink RosĂ© A has every opportunity to become one of the stars of the entire 8×8 Adventure. She isn’t simply growing. She’s building something. âž» 💚 Thank You Thank you for following another chapter of this incredible journey. Every week reinforces one simple truth: when genetics, environment and careful cultivation come together, each plant reveals a personality entirely its own. A heartfelt thank you to GrowDiaries for providing a home where growers from around the world can document their successes, learn from one another and celebrate this amazing passion together. A huge thank you to Plagron for supplying the Terra nutrient line that continues to deliver vigorous, healthy growth with remarkable consistency throughout every stage of this project. To the breeders behind these beautiful genetics—thank you for the dedication, patience and years of work that make adventures like this possible. And finally, thank you to everyone following these diaries. Your encouragement, your questions, your advice and your shared enthusiasm are what make this community so special. The 8×8 Adventure continues
One phenotype. One lesson. One beautiful surprise at a time. Growers Love đŸŒ±đŸ’š

She’s looking awesome! I increased the PK this week. I’ve also stopped using the calcium nitrate. She continues to fatten her buds up nicely. I’m really wishing I had cloned her!

Last days for most of them - only Strawberry Cough will stay longer - she is super hungry and I can not keep up with feeding her - most of leaves are yellow now. đŸ˜± The rest - four plants will be harvested on the weekend - 2-3 days from now and frozen - I'll be making bubble hash and fresh frozen live resin from them in the following weeks 😈 Trichomes are mostly milky with some amber starting - ideal ripeness and time to freeze those glands

The Oasis Project | Week 11: Veg Strain: Durban Poison Quartet (DP1, DP4, DP5, and DP6) Container: 25-Gallon Fabric Bags (Elevated on wheeled dollies) Method: Organic Soil / DIY Automated Halo Irrigation Overview & Environment We have officially crossed into Week 11 of vegetative growth, and the backyard deck is officially looking like a botanical engineering lab. The High Plains weather is starting to test the environment, but the quartet is locked in, vibrant green, and praying hard to the Colorado sun. Key Milestones This Week 1. The Automated Manifold is Live đŸ› ïž The biggest victory of the week was getting the DIY irrigation manifold completely hooked up, pressure-balanced, and dialed in. The Setup: Custom green hose "halos" are wrapped around the base of each individual plant inside the rims of the 25-gallon fabric bags. The Run: Clocked our first official initial run this week. The manifold pushed an excellent, steady volume of water, completely saturating all four massive containers in just **15 minutes**. The Baseline: This uniform edge-to-edge moisture spread is exactly what we need to ensure the organic soil mix stays perfectly charged without leaving dry pockets. No more manual water lugging for my back! 2. Air Gaps & Root Pruning 💹 With the 25-gallon bags lifted entirely up off the deck floor on mobile furniture dollies, we have a perfect air gap underneath. The Impact: Thanks to the low humidity and steady wind on the Eastern Plains, these elevated pots are acting as massive evaporative cooling systems. The 360-degree airflow is drying the bags out from the outside-in and bottom-up. The Strategy: This is triggers natural air-pruning at the bottom, forcing the plants to stop circling their roots and instead blast out a massive web of lateral feeder roots higher up in the rich organic mix. We're keeping a close eye on the bag weights over the next 48 to 72 hours to map out our new watering frequency. 3. Plant Training & Structural Breakdown (Featuring DP5) 📏 The quartet is responding beautifully to the first topping session and ongoing structural training. Current Height: Took the tape measure out to the deck today—**DP5** is sitting stout and muscular right at the 12.5 to 13-inch mark. Canopy Architecture: By pulling the lower branches outward with precise tie-downs secured to the bag rims and supporting them with bamboo stakes, the core of the plants is completely open. Sun & Wind Defense: Node spacing is incredibly tight, building thick, rugged main stalks that split beautifully at the topping nodes. This low, wide profile is exactly what we want to withstand the heavy plains winds. Every single lower growth tip now has direct access to high-altitude UV light, transforming them into future dominant vertical colas. Next Steps The bamboo frameworks are built, and the trellis netting is already waiting in the wings directly behind the deck setup. We’re letting the quartet digest their big drink from the manifold for the next 2 to 3 days to see how they explode horizontally. Once they stack a few more inches and fill out the width of the bags, we'll start weaving them into the screen! -Keep growing and stay mindful! ✌ Update 5.26.26: The quartet recieved their first full strength nutrients since making the move to the 25 gallon bags. 3 gallons per plant with full nutrients is a hell of a task, but the girls will be happy. PH corrected level of 6.0. 1215 PPM

Did this lady in a shared DWC bucket. Great auto yield. No herming and beautiful red buds. Gave the floraflex lineup from veg to bloom. Had some issues with leaves burning up close to the lighting but the buds are a beautiful color and smell like a nice piney gas. Cannot say anything but great things with this plant! Very happy and results are great.

After finding a couple of unseen spots of mold while chopping I meticulously went through every single crevice of each nug from both plants and removed the few spots I found, this took about 10 hours straight (not including light trim and wash). Absolutely stoked with the results of this grow and so proud to have gotten both these girls all the way to the finish line!

I tried her now several times. She get's better every week during cure but after roughly 1,5 months, she still tastes only slightly like a cookies strain.

I wasn't impressed with the bud structure on the herercane a few weeks ago but I have changed my mind. She has some fat frosty buds and she is going to pack some weight. Lowered the temps to 72. Going to keep the juice pumping

Lots of grass, in a very short time with a sure success without equal. This is the Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid. No joke guys, no false advertising, here we are doing serious tests, I am a good grower but what I can do you can do too nothing humanly alien here the aliens are the vegetables. Here we should try to understand what a great job the breeder has done and notice the differences from the common mortal plants. The first is the speed, guys the plants were born the night between the sixth and seventh of April and were both harvested on the eighth of June. Do some calculations, it is very little really very little time. What is not little is the grass, look at the result on the scale, cleaned to the maximum of all the stems trimmed well. The scent is fruity, sweet and inebriating, the resin is really abundant despite the harvest in June with 35 degrees in the growbox... These plants resist very well to heat and probably also to cold other plants would have made open flowers, airy without sense... Here they are tough guys, very tough and heavy, compact. I am very happy with these two plants, one is slightly more mature but you can see from the trichomes that more or less we are on both. I am not one who likes to harvest the super mature plant, but before teams of big growers arrive to explain the rule of trichomes to me I tell you: there are many milky trichomes, some amber and purple in the areas where there was a bit of foliage and still some transparent but few and all milky. So here we are guys we have many plants to harvest we also have to decide what to do first. The similarity between the two plants is evident, they are not identical, exactly twins, but that would have been disturbing, here we have great similarities in height, type of flower and many little things in their place. For me, a successful experiment, try to grow these plants respecting at least the basic rules of cultivation and even if you are a beginner you will be happy. You can come and look for me or talk to me at any time, now I have grown these plants and I know how they behave I can give all the answers you want. I waited to try as you can see before speaking and on these plants I put my signature. Very suitable for: growth with topping, given the speed, it is recovered very well, rapid growth and infinite continuous cycles (do some calculations, how many cycles you can do with a plant that you harvest in 60 days, it is not difficult!), beginner (little fertilizer in the veg phase and a lot in the flower swelling phase, they swell quickly, it is normal), indoor and outdoor. Really fast and profitable plants like I had never seen before. I have to compliment Zamnesia I am thrilled with these performances, autoflowering plants are getting better and better guys don't be afraid and don't listen too much to the wise old hippies or at least learn to take them with a pinch of salt, cannabis has gone light years ahead of the first super worthy anarchist research. Now we are ahead let's adapt to the times. In flowering I used Plagron fertilizers because with other brands I was going into deficiency, so the health in addition to the good genetics that gave us beautiful and healthy girls is also thanks to those who make the food. I recommend to everyone these plants have a fast growth and if in any case they do not need a lot of fertilizer in the vegetative phase, when they swell the flowers like crazy they really need fertilizers for flowering give them right in the quantity recommended by Plagron and you will have no problems. Fertilizers and soil are therefore Plagron https://plagron.com/en The light is wonderfully functional and powerful and is made in https://www.viparspectra.com/ The growbox is not sponsored but I love it, I love the brand and especially the Ducting Flange air circulation system best of all. https://www.secretjardin.com/ You can find these Watermelon Candy seeds, all the F1 Hybrids and much more on the Zammi website https://www.zamnesia.io/it/ N.B. Collaborations with all other seed brands are stopped at the last plants that I am finishing, kindly do not ask me for sponsorships for seeds, all other forms of collaboration are open (Lights, growbox, fertilizers, soil, tools) thanks. Okay, so interesting week all around for both myself and this plant. First off, apologies for the limited pics this week. A lot of time was spent on another plant, but going forward, you should see an improvement. Second off, more apologies. This time, for the time-lapse video. It appears a bit jumpy during the first period as I was getting it properly configured, before bumping it out of position. I also realized I could zoom in with it. Now, on to Pink Lemonade. Its been an interesting start with this lass. Possibly I moved her over a hair early to her final home, or I somehow caused her some stress, but the week started off slow. But that all changed as the week went on, and she quickly produced her 2nd, and now 3rd nodes. From what I have seen, this plant, at least thus far, seems to stress easily, but once she comes back, she comes back with a vengeance. For those wondering what my intents with this young lady are, I plan to top her at least once, possibly twice, but no more than that. This grow is more about quality than quantity, and even though I should not lose quality by having more, I am also attempted to have this completed by a specific date. I would like to be harvesting this young one for beginning of sept. As per the seed company, she has a flower time of 8 - 8.5 weeks. Pretty tight time frame. We will find out how accurate it is. Pretty much 2 months exactly. That leaves me approximately 10 - 11 weeks to work with the plant, but as I have never grown this strain, I may move her to the bloom tent sooner. Also dependent on how fast she grows upwards as well. Until next week, keep on growing.
