Hello, growers! This was usual growing week with defoliation and stretching

purple queen is still putting on weight might get net in to support her as she's going to need it buds are that frosty it's hard to take a good picture lol she just shines with all the thc some under sides of some leaves are changing to a purple colour hoping she will get some nice colours . dropped nutes down instead of mixing 6ml of each a and b and 2ml of green sensation into 2l I mixed it into 3l and e.c came in at 1.1 1.2 she's slowed on the drinking she's back to 3l a day loving this girl so far very impressed by her she's huge put a few pics of a royal cookies on not much else to say thanks for reading happy growing guys

This week the amnesia trance has come along fine, she is as low as i can get her and has probably finished stretching. All 4 strains in the tent are quite close in development still. Notes Day 50 manually feed this weeks nutes Day 51 nothing Day 52 nothing Day 53 autofeed water. Day 54 nothing Day 55 autofeed this weeks nutes Day 56 big defoliation. 530 ppfd, 34.4 DLi. Back in a week Take it easy.

Did nothing but feed and spray on and under the leafs. Before feeding I brew the solution for 24h. Taken from a larger vat that's aerated all the time. The water itself was filtered by reversed osmose a couple days before. The EC-value is 0.1 Ramping up Par-levels to 480-500 at the end of this week. At the end of the week I sowed the cover crop and mulshed it with Miscanthus

So at the start of week 3 I began to LST CM#3 to just experiment basically and topped CM#2 I believe. Again, just to experiment. This is my first grow and I was stunned with the reactions to both! The new growth after topping was about 1/4” in about 12hrs.. Crazy to me and the lst is proving to expose these bud sites and encourage amazing growth QUICK!! I’ll continue to train daily. One of the videos show the topped CM just yesterday. In 4 days, it’s grown soo much! Also, a video mentions the gender reveal but since then, all 4 have officially revealed themselves as female at the 22 day mark.

Forming her big fat colas shooting pistols like it’s the Wild West “pew pew” I think she’ll for the full mile and have 3 more weeks left can’t wait to see the array of colours I’ve seen in my solo 😊 stay tuned and hit that like button it’s free!

So this week I added nutrients for the flowering stage. I gave her a little trim as well as added her netting. I flipped her on last Sunday PP

So I only have 1.5 weeks until I harvest my girls. Ripening until 5 days before harvest then I will flush with 1/8th tsp of yucca powder p/gal. Senescence is taking place all over, but especially on the largest phenotype. Thinking of harvesting the most senesced one first and let the others go a few more days, we shall see! This is my first time growing, and damn I feel so lucky to have gotten this far! This is gonna be something I will do for the rest of my life Jah willing!

Apologies for not updating last week, I have just been really busy! These last couple of weeks have been great - her growth is coming along very well. There are no signs of any deficiencies as of yet, what is your opinion! In regards to defoliating and lollipopping - what growth would you suggest I get rid off?

I had suspected that these wonderful young ladies would require more time to reach peak Harvest and i was correct. Allowing these the extra week has allowed for some excellent weight gain and additionally allowing for more Trics to form and start to change color. Using my mag glass i have determined that now is the time to start my pre harvest. I have removed some of the larger leaves allowing for more light to penetrate lower down the plant, this has now allowed the lower nugs to finish of and bulk up the best they can. I feel the Harvest of the Purple Queen is imminent however finding the right moment will be more tricky. As this is the last Flowering week update i will be posting on this Strain. I would just like to say a big thank you for everyone who has been following and adding likes along the way. New light installed, twice as powerful as before but still a cheap light I've yet to learn fully Like the first batch of seeds to germinate, I again get a strange 'quad' seedling, 4 embryo leaves, then attempts to grow it's first 4 leaves instead of 2 also, growth is severely stunted in both seedlings to start with 4 embryo leaves after seed popped

it grows so fast. The lower leaves are shaded and away from the light. So I cut them as the plant gets taller I really don't have a good setup to be able to clean my roots. I tried this week anyway. I watered each pot with 2L (not enough I think :/) of water at 450PPM PH: 7 then after I gave 1L of water at 900PM PH: 5.5. There was a big puddle in the room afterwards. But it wasn't that hard to clean up after all. In 5 minutes with a rag and a bucket ------------------------------------------------ -Daytime temperature: 24-29°C -Night temperature: 22-27°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it... This was the topped gorilla cookies got to say I will do this strain again produced some nice size buds could of been a bit more dense but for a wet weight of 431g wet weight I’m happy with this one 4 down 2 to go thanks for viewing

Pulled a sprout out and planted in another pot. started another diary for that one but its not looking so good.

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. On hand for heavier use (Once every 3 days before lights out for 15 days) in the case of an outbreak (No outbreaks yet, due to aforementioned preventative measures)
