Well, the Grandaddy black hermed on me in the beginning of week 7 flower. Separated her immediately and did a flush bringing the ppm down from over 2k to around 500. Two days later she was harvested. A little blown she didn't finish up how I wanted her to. 2 more weeks she would of been ready. Trichomes were 5% amber 70% cloudy 25% clear.

7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I've seen lots of lightning bugs on my camera though and grasshoppers are abundant. Not one growth shoot has been chewed (knock on wood) which is what the earwigs had always done. I watched a video from last year and by nowcthey had lollipopped all lower leaves. It may not be the best weather growing season wise but despite the rh consistently in the 90's I still don't have pm or fungal pathogens. Need to get the BT out. Didn't water as we've had all that rain. I'll water either tonight or tomorrow morning. Sunny high in the 90s low is 66. Tomorrow looks good too. UPDATE WENT BACK OVER AROUND FIVE. IT WAS 88 DEGREES SO I WANTED TO CHECK THE GROW BAGS. THE POTS ARE FINE. IT WAS HUMID AS HELL. ONE PLANT WAS SLIGHTLY DROOPY BUT VERY LIGHT AND DRY. I FOUND TWO OTHERS THAT SEEMED LIGHTER THAN THE REST BUT HADNT DROOPED. I MIXED TWO GALLONS OF WATER WITH 1TSP KANGOROOTS AMD PHED IT CLOSE TO 6. I FED THE 3 PLANTS THAT WERE SUPER DRY LIKE A HALF GALLON AND SPRED THE REST OVER THE OTHER EIGHT PLANTS. THEY WERENT DROOPING BUT THEY WERE VERY DRY. I PLAN ON A FULL WATER TOMORROW. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. I took stills and they all uploaded but didn't fucking save. I'm nit going to keep trying to upload if it's not going to. Noticed a few more holes in leaves and one skeletinized leaf so I need to either spray the bt or something more versatile. I'm putting more poison around the cage and de between the bags. I'll go check things out tonight. Sick of writing a book and uploading to just hace them disappear 7/9 Did a quick video today. Noticed the bags were fairly light despite the plants being soaked amd the pallets wet. I was pressed for time. I gave two gallons to the entire garden. I hope that will hold them over until tomorrow. I'll need to up how much water I give them. Going with a gallon and a half next time. I see more pillar spots and a moth took off when I shook the plants this morning. So I'm gonna have too apply the BT. I figure if I go over before dark tonight I might be able to see aju nocturnal insects around. Luckily my dad feeds the birds and they are always there. I think they help with pests. UPDATE IT WAS A LITTLE COOLER TODAY BUT MICH MORE HUMID. I WENT AROUND SIX TO MAKE SURE THE GIRLS WERE OK WITH WATER AND TO GIVE THEM A TREATMENT OF BT. I WENT THROUGH THE GARDEN ANDCGOUND THREE LEQVES TO DEFOLIATE AND LITERALLY A COUPLE LEAVES ON TWO PLANTS WITH PILLAR HILESM WHEN I ARRIVED TWO BIRDS FLEW OUT. A HORNET CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.

2020-08-17 Beginning of Week 9 of flowering! Wow! The buds in the middle are getting super frosty now and I noticed that I had some colas that had dipped below the light canopy. They're now back up on top! I am still giving nutrients as I don't see many amber trichomes yet but I am going into the tent without the LEDs on to take some more updated pics. Don't wanna miss my window as I prefer to be stimulated instead of sedated by cannabis. Hoping this strain delivers. IF anyone wants to comment on the 'readiness' of my buds for flushing (or not flushing) please leave a comment or message me! 2020-08-23 Updated with this week's entire set of pics! Trying to take more with the lights off and just the flash to capture the trichomes. Looks like the sugar leaves have more amber trichomes. I've been advised by at least one person that it's time to harvest. Still looking for more opinions! Cheers.

Great week -Colas are getting stronger and more white hairs are coming through now. Wendy is definitely getting ready to pop. Nancy has a cola that has exploded outward - prob chasing the light, may have been too high. Have put the light Very close not, about 5" away. I can hold my hand there so I'm sure they will be fine. I installed the scrog net and spending time each day moving the leaves back and getting those colas in the light. Any advice? Should I trim the leaves at the bottom now - there is a fair bit and i have to move them aside to feed? ;-)

the race continues. at the moment both are still on a par. a good 5 cm in growth. there is currently a lot of sunshine and really good temperatures. apart from that, not much has happened yet.

This week saw alot of action with clones being taken from all three plants and lights being switched over to flower at 12/12. The plants have not yet looked this good and i'm starting to see why no-till is the way to go. The plants are incredibly happy and require minimal attention. That being said, with a bit of love on organic pest management, they are really starting to flourish big time. The week looked like this: 1/17: Water with essential oils (3 drops ea/gal: rosemary, ginger and thyme) - 1 gal per pot 1/18: Nothing 1/19: Nothing 1/20: Compost Tea spray (compost, build a soil craft blend and black molasses bubbled for 48 hours) at lights out 1/21: Neem with essential oils (clove, eucalyptus and lemongrass - 2 drops ea) foliar spray at lights out 1/22: Nothing 1/23: Nothing

These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Day 76 - 07/12/19 The Quick One has turned into a Fat One! The colas are just huge! nice lavender smell and very sticky! the buds also look a lot more dense this time compared to my last diary probably due to adding calmag and pk13/14 and this plant is over twice as tall haha. it finished its stretch at 43cm so shouldnt be a bad sized harvest. I fed the plants last night with their last dose of nutes and im going to start flushing from today right up until harvest. My tap water is at 140ppm so this should be okay for flushing. ive grown all my plants with this tap water and tbh i used to let it sit out for a day or two to evaporate chemicals but i havent done that in ages. plants dont seem to mind it straight from the tap. but yeah flushing from today right up until around the start of next week. it should only need a week flush as its coco coir but im expecting to harvest on Day 85. The top of the main cola started to look weird and was definitely getting burned from the light. i took a small bit off as i cant adjust the height of my lights just now, gotta fit these rope rachets the light is just so damn heavy lol. im not worried tho, expecting about an ounce from this harvest, maybe more from my diesel auto diary. Still im very proud. this is my first plant with big colas, and not only tall but fat! cant wait to see how dense the buds turn out to be and i think my last harvest was at week 9 so this has had much more time to mature. I pulled a lot lot of leaves off this plant as they were crispy and yellowing. ive been feeding light amounts of nitrogen for a while so its either just the plant yellowing or the crispiness is light burn. either way you will notice from the pictures. upper colas have no fan leaves lol. and i added a couple of photos through the jewelers loupe, couldnt really get a good angle. but the breeder estimate is 8-9 weeks and il be finishing on week 12 so itll most likely be ready. I got a few more seeds and they are going to be stunning! award winning genetics and also exotic and high thc autoflowers! im using biobizz light mix and i should be starting once i harvest this diary so keep an eye out for that and check out my other diaries if you get a chance. Day 78 - still giving 1.8l of water per day. wanted to ensure im getting all the nutes and salts out of this so i gave 1.8l of phed water earlier in the day and 1.8l of phed water 6 hours later. going to try stick to the 1.8 per day as the soil dries out overnight with that amount :) Other than that the plant is looking great. some faint purple colors and its pretty frosty! nice big buds. once the plant is harvested and trimmed im gonna dry some on a drying rack for about a week. and some hung up to dry in a cardboard box for 2 weeks. Day 79 - 10/12/19 Harvested the top half of a side cola today so its cured just before christmas 🎄 and i wanted to let light penetrate the lower buds! Have a look at the pictures and let me know what you think in the comments :) Biobizz light mix arrived and im thinking of starting my next batch of seeds, keep an eye out for those diaries starting up :) I plan to harvest on day 85! so excited for this one! Day 79 same day update: Took a few pictures of the bud drying :) im gonna dry it slowly and just let the 21-23c room temperature 50-60% humidity do its job. and let me know what you guys think about using a drying rack like in the picture for buds? Day 80 - 11/12/19 A few days shy of 12 weeks now so i decided to harvest another couple of side colas! Snipped a cola down to individual buds removing all trim and the other cola i didnt break down i just trimmed. il add photos tomorrow to show what i mean :) The trim was really frosty and looked quite cloudy/plastic and the buds are covered in cloudy/amber pistils. I smoked a couple of bongs of the test bud which has been drying for about 24 hours now and im pretty stoned! very relaxed in my back and shoulders. no muscle pain. my head is heavy with enhanced audio and visuals :) this is turning out to be a beautiful afternoon smoke! very proud of myself :) Only a few more days until full harvest and i cant wait to cut the main cola down. id say the main cola could be near an ounce when dried as it looks thicker than my arm 😂 Day 81 - 12/12/19 What a night ive had :) been up for ages fine trimming 2 side colas i pulled off the plant tonight. the flushing was worrying me with the extra humidity rise. i added a ton of pictures to show off the whole ordeal as best as possible :) and i came across some mold halfway up one of the giant colas. was a very small pocket of fluff so i cut around the affected area and didnt lose too much (about 2g if dried) the side colas were so much bigger than expected. completely filled my whole raw tray with buds and my drying rack is starting to fill up. Im like a small child again as these colas are the biggest individual piece of weed that ive held :) really proud that i grew this! I also got a lot of trim and little popcorn buds. gonna keep then for edibles and dry up these test buds. 3 Days until harvest of the main cola :) and check out the pictures and videos i added at the end. huge colas! :)

Okay growmies here we are at the end of our PURPLE LEMONADE by FAST BUDS. It was such a pleasure to grow, i learned so so so much this run that will help me through the rest of my adventures. The beginning was tough as i am new i over watered and did not ph the water and what i mistake. But its okay i learned. She bounced back like nothing and produced these HUGE, THICK, DENSE BUDS!i remember the panic i had week 2-3 and wanted to scrap all of this and start over.... thank the weed gods i didnt because look at this masterpiece. I always said in the passed weeks comments i hope my ugly duckling becomes a beautiful queen. And here she is. She was SOOO HUNGRY AND THIRSTY! Day 126. Really day 90 from seed, part of Control Garden. Amazing how they Bulk, 3 weeks of veg only, crazy strain ! If i ever wanted anything from this strain, she was like "Let's do it ! " 8 sisters were amazing, now i used last two biggest beans and those had no training, no light, nothing, but went into absolute overdrive smells amazing, branches hard to hold while trimming ... Love them, maybe this time taste will be better, different nutes used ... Its so funny to hear branches slowly bending and cracking under own weight with no support left ... Amazing sound for grower ;)) Control Garden is an absolute success even with Strawberries hermie part .. Cure day. 250 g total. Insane for 3 weeks veg, one cola lost to budrot, no direct light and early harvest which led to a bit airy Monster Bulk buds, she could make 150 easy without budrot and one more week of flower ... Will update on night shift ;) Day Unknown. Decided to try out finally last girls for diary records, but ... After a month of intense cure buds got angly/pyramid type forms ... ????? Any idea ? First two weeks moved at least twice a day.

I emptied the reservoir, there was 2750ml left. I made a 15L new feed and added it to the reservoir. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 27-4 Temperature: 26 degrees (lights on) 19.9 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 47% (lowest) 28-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 21.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 47% (lowest) Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 29-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 20.6 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 39% (lowest) Increased the strength of the light from 65% to 70% Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 30-4 Temperature: 27.4 degrees (lights on) 21.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 62% (highest) 47% (lowest)

Super happy with everything so far, plants are growing fast and everything is going smoothly. I have all propped up a couple inches for better light penetration. Gonna need to take the humidifier out here soon so I can maximize all of the space for the plants. Haven't done any cutting, just some LST.
