Day 51 - 1F - Trimmed up most fan leaves and lower nodes. Used some low stress training to keep the canopy low and even then lowered SCROG netting to start training through flowering stretch. Took a couple clones as well (not sure if i'll grow them out yet or not - just wanted to try my new fog cloner i built.

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. So please prepare to enjoy some of Mr Kellys finest The first song is a brand new one called Sleep Australia Sleep in which he evokes many emotions and anger with his poignant ords and the haunting images of destruction of our beautiful country thru both natural and man made disasters such as the recent horrific bushfires and floods, plus also the damage to our ecosystem from pollution, rubbish and envionmental terrorism performed in the name of industry ( mining, oil drilling coal power stations etc etc This song really touched a nerve in me being a true blue Aussie and passionate Animal lover so I urge you all to actually watch the video and listen to the song. this is the video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hY1w_c7nO4 the second song is on a much lighter note & is called "Dumb things " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR-eTR3Dcps which apparently was quite popular in the US at the time of it's first release. I really hope you are all enjoying or atleast liking my weekly music videos so please leave a like if thats indeed the case. I'll be back next week with another plant update and Aussie artist and music Video . Cheers 👊👍👊

Just tucking away 🤣🤣🤣 Last weeks feeding was slightly too high for transition. I am realizing that the amount of fulvic/humid acid reduces the need for full strength ratios. This week we are going to feed 800 again, as the need for ppm’s has increased, but I am going to stay under 850 unless I see deficiency in leaves. The photosynthesis plus has been added to the mix. I know, I have recharge. However, there are certain strains in PP that recharge does not have. Specifically there is a strain for absorbing more from the lights. I have some purple stems from the light being a little to intense. We will be adding a little more cal-mag to the next feeding also. Looks like feeding will take place Tuesday/Wednesday this week. All plants are female and no Herms present for the party 😂😂 10-25 did a pre-feed of cal-mag, 8 oz. Later this evening I will do the main feeding 3 cups. The ratios are still 8-8-8 at 800 ppm’s. The extra ppm’s come in the form of extra cal-mag. Did some tucking as I am in stretch phase. So I work with a grower who is 76 years old. He has some old school techniques that make sense. He pre-waters his containers with 25% water. The remainder 75% is either nutrients OR additives that need to be added to the water. I took it a step further. I added cal-mag to the pre-water stage. Then I fed the nutrients second stage. Cal-mag is the “carrier” for nutrients throughout the plant. “Adding the nutrients after, makes it easy for the nutrients to fully saturate the soil and reach all the roots. This also prevents salt build up.” Ron’s Words. I will say my containers held double the amount of water using his method. 10-28 added some reflective material around the sides. My Growmie at RedmanFarms suggested I add it to the room. I am inside of an open air room for flowering cycle. Today was watering day. First watering was a light dose of cal/mag. Second watering was kelp, seaweed, photosynthesis plus, monk beans SST, fulvic/humic acid. One of the plants ( top left) seems to have a sulpher/magnesium deficiency ( it’s also the one with the soil I don’t like). I made some Iron/Tone tea by Espoma at 200 ppm’s and did a foliar feed. So far I see some progress on purple recessing and the growth has started to match the other 4. I have 1 more week of tucking to do and then I do a HEAVY defoliation on day 21. After than I won’t touch the plants other than feedings and water.

Day 35 Flowering: Hi Growmies, hope we are all well and in the green. The Exotic ladies have been displaying their skills this week and fan dancing to this beautiful set of buds now filling the spaces. The smell from them is definitely identified as mango now too. #1 is fattening out her buds all the way to below the canopy tops too. She isnt the biggest in height but is pushing out some very nice thick buds sets #2 is the biggest of the 4 Mango cream with a chunky nice looking mainstem that I tried to avoid forming. She had other ideas I think. The side growth is just as impressive too with fat colas forming nicely #3 is the odd one of the bunch. She is between the two lights and lifted higher than the other 2 the same age but smaller in general. she looks way more mature than the other plants too which is odd. Her colours are really showing through like finished buds tend to look pre chop. She smells so strong of mango too. still with at least 4 weeks to go it will be interesting to see how she matures further.. #4 is at day 28 flowering and has pellets as her feednin the medium. She looks a little rough and nowhere near as healthy as her sisters do. signs of mg deficiency are heavy too and I am using the bloom element that is with the pellets now too. I thinknthe pellets have finished being of use now and might have to get her in mx after all. Her buds look OK but need some powering now from the greenery stores. All in all things are going well with these ladies and I can only imagine how good they will harvest now. Be safe growmies ***UPDATE DAY 39 MAJOR DEVELOPMENT*** A major development in the ripening of one of the mango cream girls. #3 has reached full maturity!!!! I thought she was developing very nice colours and a texture similar to harvested wedding cake strains I have done. as she was still really early in flower and in a small pot , I assumed it was something to do with this that had accelerated her a little in some way. Seeing her trichromes under the scope and seeing amber ones today has me convinced she is done already at 39 days in flower only. Wow thats a fast flowering for a plant of this size too. I have not seen any do this before except a barneys farm Blue gelato that hermied at week 3 flower with perfect seed pods and very mature flowers lowndown . i am leaving her a few days more to see exactly what she does but will keep you posted. Happy days.

The flowers are looking ready for its final stage! The stems are starting to go red, the top leaves are getting yellow, and the trichomes and starting to get white as snow! I’ve started feeding it water and then water with molasses every other day.

2020-07-12 New week, same nutrients. I've been carefully monitoring nutrient intake and topping up plant 1 quite often, almost a gallon a day now. The 2nd plant is growing slower and eating a bit less but it's also a week behind developmentally. Plant 1 is happy with EC=1600 and I dilute that down to EC=1400 for plant 02. Plants are looking good! 2020-07-18 Last day of the week. Plant 01 is completely insane. It is so tall that I keep having to supercrop the top as more colas try to hit the light. I obviously let it veg for way too long but I struggled early on with nutrition so I didn't know what would happen when I finally dialed everything in!!! I am gonna take them to the end, I just hope I don't have to cut any colas off that become unmanageable. I have to be way more aggressive with my LST next time. Very very light nutrient burn on plant 2. Still running EC=1600 and EC=1400 for plant 1/2.

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Apologies for the large number of pics, but she’s so photogenic. 😎 #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Welcome our dear Friends, in this grow cycle we will try an awesome strain under an awesome light, I'm talking about Girl Scout Coockies and the 💡💡TS 600 by MarsHydro.💡💡 TS600 is an awesome lap for all growers, from the beginner to the expert because it has a balanced light spectrum (good for veg and flowering) and a low wattage. It is cheap to buy and to use, your bill will never be too high!! This lamp is also really efficient and it never get hot, a perfect replace and upgrade if you have an HPS!! (P.S.: They also have awesome stickers, you must stick them in your grow box for perfect results🤪🤪🤪) Here some details: Reduced Energy Usage LED Grow Light: Consuming 100w as well as installed with 225 pcs chips, TS600 is able to replace a 150w HPS light while saving 30% electric power. High Efficiency LED Grow Light: With overall light output PPF 190umol/S and good PPE 2.0 umol/j, it's 50% more photon effective so can promise a 30% more return comparing to the old HPS/MH lights. Patent Reflective Hood Design: The reflector on TSW2000 has actually been patented, which can effectively gather the light dispersed in all directions to improve its light intensity and aid plants acquire more light absorption. Full Spectrum Plant-Preferred Spectra: By the special combination of ranges that emits most light in the 400-700nm waveband, extremely conducive to plant photosynthesis. Appropriate IR(730-740nm) is additionally included in the range to help form larger buds. Trustworthy Qualifications And Warranty: CE, ETL, RoHS, UKCA security certifications approved, 50,000 hours long lifespan, 5-year service warranty, and local after-sales solution facilities. I WANT TO TELL THAT MARSHYDRO SERVICE IS INCREDIBLY AWESOME, I ALLWAYS RECEIVED FAST AND PRECISE ANSWERS! EXCELLENT LAMP, PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICES AND FAST DELIVERY. THANK YOU GUYS, THANK YOU DEAR ELEEN! 💸💸💸💸💸BUY MARSHYDRO TS600: https://www.mars-hydro.com/mars-tsw-600-led-full-spectrum-hydroponic-led-grow-light 💸💸💸💸💸 OTHER AWESOME STUFF: https://www.mars-hydro.com OUR GERMINATION METHOD STEP BY STEP I Germinated all seeds in cotton pads because in my opinion is the best way, I'll tell you why. Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place, slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell that this is the faster and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. I really hope that this "rule" will help noob growers and maybe will help other growers to improve their skills. I personally do the step by step draw guide. ENJOY. 🍫🍫🍫ZAMNESIA SEEDS - GIRL SCOUT COOKIES AUTOMATIC: FAST AND FURIOUSLY TASTY🍫🍫🍫 TASTE OF A CLASSIC The enduring appeal of Girl Scout Cookies largely comes down to it embodying many crucial aspects of good cannabis. It owes its origins to the competitive Californian cultivation scene. Many classics have emerged from West Coast growers, but "Cookies" strains have spread particularly far and wide. Not least of all because they breed well with other strains. This has led to the creation of many Cookies hybrids looking to boost the already sensational characteristics of the original. Enter Girl Scout Cookies Automatic by Zamnesia Seeds. This strain harnesses the trademark high and flavour of GSC, and packs it into a compact autoflower. The uplifting effect of this strain makes for a high that is long-lasting and very satisfying. This is in part due to a THC content of around 17%. Although not as potent as some photoperiod GSC cultivars, this strain still makes waves throughout the entire body. These effects are made all the more sumptuous by the delectable flavours present. Distinctive dessert notes of chocolate, cinnamon, and mint make Girl Scout Cookies Automatic an ideal after-meal accompaniment. GROWING GIRL SCOUT COOKIES AUTOMATIC BY ZAMNESIA SEEDS While Girl Scout Cookies is undoubtedly a popular strain to cultivate, it isn't always the quickest to reach harvest. That's why Zamnesia decided to offer a robust autoflowering strain that encapsulates the hardy GSC genetics in small and compact plants. The resulting buds will be tight and resinous with thick orange hairs. The plant will finish its grow cycle after only 8–10 weeks post-germination. This strain is adaptable to most growing environments, reaching heights of 50–120cm indoors, and up to 150cm outdoors. While indoor plants are capable of producing 350–425g/m², outdoor plants can yield between 140–175g/plant. Not bad for such compact specimens! Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 07/12/2019 - Fed her 2l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera, noticed about 10% run off, also added a green filter to the camera lens. Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. Also added home made Co2 made with 1 tsp of yeast, 3/4 tsp of sugar 700ml of warm water in a 1l bottle with a tiny pin hole on the cap. 11/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera, noticed about 10% run off. 12/12/2019 - 8 weeks have passed and no flowers I guess I'm flipping to 1212h to see if she reacts.

Paz!

Chopped her down right after these photos. Had one little area with bud rot! The humidity has been crazy high and she was almost perfectly ready, but needed one more week. Chopping down to avoid any more! She smells like pine gas! Foxtails are from the temps swings. Happy with the turn out because Mother Nature was not kind to this lady! ✌️💚🌿💨. Results after dry!
