~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2204 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Week 2 – Still tiny Not much going on yet – she's still really small. Growth is good and she looks healthy so far. Just starting to show her second set of true leaves. No signs of stretching or stress, just taking her time. Hopefully she picks up momentum in the next few days. Sometimes the slow starters end up surprising you later on

Blackberry moonrocks both plants are still some of the best seedling in the tent so far. The better if the 2 is for sure the #1 plant in the tent. It has had the best start of a seedling i have seen in a wile. The leaves are angled like an airplane and they just seem thicker than the average leaf. They both seem like there going to have middium to longer indernode spacing. It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

I've finally got the drip system up and running, perfect time too because they are definitely drinking more. They are getting fed 4 times a day at 1 minute increments which comes out to about 100 ml per feeding. The plants have really started to take off, roots are coming out of the bottom of the cubes. I just topped all of them so they'll start branching out more. I'm currently running a 600w MH and am starting to deal with heat. 2 weeks ago I ordered a ChilLED Growcraft 600w LED light, I can't wait for it to show up so the heat will drop and I can get back on track with the proper VPD. I also just recently ordered Mammoth P microbes and some silica. Hop you all are enjoying the grow so far.

So here we are roughly at end of Week 14. Some photos are from after that point as we are getting close to harvest. What can I say about these plants other than what they already are showing. I royally gave them some bad treatment with pH lockout, and still managed to come back together and finish strong. Noticing, these are all the same strain, with some clearly different phenotypes showing through. To that matter, they all are amazing and showing some real quality signs. The trichomes are almost all cloudy and I have a few amber coming in. The terpenes are coming out and the plants are finishing out the remainder of nutrients in the soil with some good flushing as well. Right now the ladies are in the dark for the next 48-72 hours. After that time period, I will check the trichomes one last time before I chop them to hang. The size of these nugs is not only impressive in terms of length, but the density is also there to back it up. These are some dense, resinous, long ass nugs! Corona virus has the best smell and smells almost like it's got a blueberry undertone going on. It is also packed with resin, which is a bonus, however the nugs are smaller than the other two plants. Big Red has the longest and most nugs out of the three. It's smell is not really much to speak of, and the resin is decent comparing to the others. Stubby has the thickest, densest and most crystal coverage out of all three of them. Unfortunately it is shorter and the overall yield is not as impressive as the other two. So they all have their pro's and con's, but I am thinking I am looking towards a decent harvest with some well grown bud. This might be a grow I am not as ashamed of in my history! 😆 Happy Growing, cheers! 👊😁

Leaf scaring getting worse but seems to have stopped progressing. Buds look amazing and can't complain about tricome production.

I honestly can't wait for this one to be done so I can try it out. The terps on this on is crazy!! That dank sweet cherry smell. Buds are forming more and more. Top Dressed with 8 tbps of BuildaSoil build a flower and 6 tbsp of BuildaSoil Craft Blend

Awesome Strain, but low yield. Will try another time but then i will have a look to change something on the grow to get more yield.

Gorilla cookies and cherry cola are both hitting flower hard! The smells are pungent,the buds are sticky and the stems are strong! We’re getting nice fat buds on cherry already and gorilla isn’t too far behind her. They’ve taken very well to the feedings they’ve been given and all training done to them. So far I’m loving both of these strains 🔥🔥

I just cleaned the roots and I'm waiting until it's dry to chop her down, I love the smell and the compact nuggets that she has,it's just a very nice genetic to grow.

Nightmare having 2 plants maturing nearly 3 weeks faster than the other 2

Vamos familia, actualizamos la tercera semana de crecimiento de estas Black Rainbow de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de crecimiento. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento. Finally got myself a dehumidifier, now i can controll the humidity in my room because it often went above 60% 🤷‍♂️🏻 Also love how the big northern light is really packing some weight! & the buds on the bottom look as good as the ones more on top!! Can’t wait till i can harvest all of em😁
