The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

Been a rainy week here and things are starting to heat up. Humidity and temperature a little higher than ideal. Not really noticing too much smell yet but my house always smells like weed so who knows. There is a very pungent lemon sme when touching the leaves so we’ll see what she does!

25 september This girl is outstanding. Amagine lifting or weighing that plant. Sorry for the report, but fresh weight total is not possible for me. After harvesting Maroc I wanted to hold the stem/skeleton up for a photo. I Could hardly lift it for a picture. Must have been 20 Kg. Just stem with rootball. Fresh buds where just harvested but in stages. This plants is now reaching almost 4 meters tall and is about 3 meters wide. Buds are very compact and spread nicely over branches. The small sprouts and buds within were taken out on 21st. You can tell the plants suffer from the cold. Daytemp around 10-15 degrees slows them down, almost to a halt. So lets pray for some more sunshine! 25th she was looking so much better after 3 days sun. I think she needs another 3-4 weeks if mould or frost doesnt spoil things. Those sunny days and 20+ celsius. that really made Grapefruit and Lemon Kush pop before they got cut. 3 day impact was amazing after 10 days seeing nothing but rot grow during nonstop rain. | 📅 Week 7 | Days 43 - 49 | 💡 750w 📏36' | | ☔ 23%-34% | | 🌡️️🌞 74 - 81 | | 🌡️️🌑 66 - 74 | 12/21 I did a reservoir swap with the fresh nutrient levels as planned! Without PH testing fluid I had to adjust the tap+nutrients by memory, but i'm fairly accurate and only off the target(5.8) by .2 most of the time. 12/22 Did another reservoir swap again this time unplanned, because i'm still unable to PH until tomorrow. The things we do for dank buds lol! Adjusted some of the Low stress training a little more severe LST to prepare for a late 'SCROG' i'm putting in tomorrow. 12/23 A late 'SCROG' was applied to the plants today to make the lateral dormant buds grow vertical as best as possible. With a Late "screen of green" like this its mainly used to LST and get better airflow. If you are looking to weave tops and get an even canopy then you will want to SCROG while at the end of Veg. PH fluid arrived today so the reservoirs were adjusted to 5.8 after being topped off. 12/24 PH was really low so there is a possible 'acid rain' effect. I adjusted the PHs to 6.0 to compensate and I will reservoir swap the buckets if the PH drops this low again tomorrow. I did some adjustments to the LST using the scrog. 12/25 Reservoirs had a really low PH again so I did a Res swap on all 3 plants to avoid a possible acid rain effect. Essentially that's when C02 dissolves into your water forming CarbonicAcid before dropping 2 H+ protons and causing the PH to lower and turn acidic. I PHed the fresh reservoir to 5.8 and cleaned the tent out. I didn't do any training today. 12/26 I extended the intake duct to deliver the cold outside air directly underneath the focus plants canopy to lower temperatures and force purpling. I adjusted all 3 plants to 5.8 PH and topped of the reservoir on 2 of them. The focus plant has been growing fantastically. 12/27 All of the reservoirs needed topped off and of course they had their PHs adjusted to 5.8. I moved the plants apart a slight bit and did some adjustments to the SCROG for better training and airflow. Temperatures might be getting low at night, but unless it gets worse I will be fine and just consider this an attempt to get more purple. 😋 ______________________________________________________________________________ Week 7 is complete and in the Books. These Girls are thriving on low levels of Bloom + Calmag. It's as if these genetics have replaced all Nitrogen needs with an insatiable desire for CalMag. I really cant seem to give them enough Magnesium to satisfy them at this stage. Overall in this week I have trained the focus plant down into a SCROG and spread out her reach so the colas individually grow vertical. She took a day to recover totally, but she rebounded just fine and spent the rest of the week pumping out pistils. Around day 5 on the week the focus plant started to show just a little bit of color between her pistils so it looks like we have some nice color to look forward to in the coming weeks. She’s recovered from defoliation and buds are everywhere. THe tent is smelling great. Almost to the halfway point in flowering. Getting excited to see her swell.

Can see the clear difference between plant types. Hulkberry going that typical dark purple green colour which is hard to specifically identify but comes through with a great hue! Smells EXACTLY like berries. Skunks infamous smell is really coming out. Nice!

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

Moved the whole veg tent into the flower tent😍 Done the final flush on the 2 plants in the front of the tent, should have them cut down in the next 3 days to make some more room for the rest of the ladies! Everything seems to be going good so far! Fingers crossed for harvest & cure!🤞🏼✌️🏼🌱

Ja so wie es schon vorher fast zu vermuten war, ist ein 60x60 einfach zu klein 😅 die Mandarin Panties ging zwischen den beiden Z-ups unter und ich musste sie aus dem Zelt nehmen. Die Entscheidung fiel aufgrund dessen, weil ich noch zwei weitere seeds von der Panties habe und die z-ups einfach mehr Potential zeigen. Ich werde natürlich weiter über die Panties berichten. Z-up #1 Hat keine Probleme, wächst vernünftig, zeigt keinerlei überdüngung und hat bei 570ppm einen drain von 1000ppm. Ph ist aber bei 7.. Z-up #2 Zeigt überdüngung an und hat auch einen drain mit 1500ppm, ph ist bei 6,7. Wächst aber super und zeigt am meisten Potential Mandarin Panties Wächst langsam, trinkt auch wesentlich weniger. Darf sich jetzt erstmal über natürliches Licht freuen und wird nicht wieder ins Zelt zurückkehren. Ich mache noch einen neuen Versuch mit diesem strain So long, bis zur nächsten Woche

During this whole grow I would say she was my favorite. She has the fruit funk flora nose and just beautiful bag appeal. Her coals were a lot smaller than the other girls but she was bigger and yeild was similar. I got about 3 zips off of her. I would definitely recommend her

Hallo zusammen 🤙. Das wird ein Outdoor und Indoor Grow. Ich werde sie bis Ende August draußen bei mir auf dem Balkon wachsen lassen und die Blüte werde ich dann im Zelt machen.

5 years later putting some closure to this diary. The reason I stopped it 5 years ago is because of where I lived and thought I was going to get In trouble. Was able to go back and find the photos for this plant when harvested. Really enjoyed growing this and was one of my favorite highs I’ve ever grown. Got so high on it had to go to the ER one night LOL. God bless everyone!

Strain: Lemon AK Breeder: Fastbuds Started from Seed Feminized Autoflower Seed Count: 5 Week 3 11/10/2018 - 11/16/2018 Nutrients are now at 100% strength and plants are all growing nicely and showing good color. Plant #2 had a curving stem issue so I've added a small bamboo stake to straighten her out. After 3 days it seems to be working. Also, I brought the light down to 24” now that the seedlings are well established and used to the spectrum. Speaking of stems … the Fastbuds description mentioned weakness in the first few weeks and the need for support. I've had 2 6” fans creating “windy” conditions since the seeds were planted and I've added some silica to the nutrients to strengthen the plant structure. So far it seems to be working because all of the plants (even the one with "scoliosis") seems to have good support and thickness in the stems. The plants have doubled in size this week and now range from 4” - 7”.
