Boo Ya!!

This week I performed a good defoliation to clean up the canopy and improve light penetration and airflow. I also added a second scrog net to help support and organize the branches as the plant continues developing in flower. On the positive side, I haven’t seen any more signs of the thrips since the treatment, so hopefully the issue is under control now 🌱💪

Right so now I flushed the hell out of this lady and the runoff now is the exact same as what's going pretty much. Also I'm super happy to see the purples coming through and also the smell has changed drastically and started smelling more like Mimosa than it did pre-flush. Going to do one last flush now and leave it 2 or 3 days then leave her in the dark for 48 hours then cut her down!

10/08/2024 Lights On! Week 8 12/08/2024 Lights On! Looking good; phattening up! Mid-day: Dimmed to 420watts The buds are right under the canopy are showing signs of slight fishtailing. Reasons for dimming light! As they start to mature dimming of the light for 2-3days is needed. They are getting bigger! Will have to raise scrog net soon for support 🙏🙌👍 14/08/2024 Lights On! Increased light to 490watts! Mid-day! Video 60fps FHD Light needs turning down Dimmed backs to 420watts!

9cm vertical growth this week but she's got a lot bushier!!!!!!!!!!!! Loads of new growth! I'm thinking this week she will enter flowering.

The plant was easy to grow overall .. it grew fast and a little on the tall side which had me nervous but I was able to raise the lights up just enough to finish, so it all worked out in the end. buds came out hard and frosty no complaints . This was a freebie seed too! didn’t expect it to come out as fire as it did man was i wrong. Straight fire 🔥 Ran into root rot in the beginning of veg but the great white and hydroguard saved my ass.🙏

Transplanting and Early Growth: As she transitioned to a small pot filled with rich soil and Mycor Mix, Blackberry Auto continued to thrive. Getting frostier every day. Smells like over ripe fruit and bubblegum. Sweet terp profile. Starting to fade a little early but I do not want to add any nitrogen at day 35 in flower. I will let her ride it out. Hoping for some purple colors but we'll see.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Sorry for the delay on the weekly updates, had some things I had to attend but I'm back and at it! 21-day defoliation has come.. These pictures were taken on day 20 of flower As you can see in the pictures I did a little defoliation of the bigger fan leaves. She's pretty advanced compared to the other ladies. Buds sites are formed, strong aroma going. Her structure looks like a straight up garden bush. Took the LST great ended up with a nice open, spread canopy. With the defoliation done, buds will be getting much more light exposure and grow a bit more before gaining weight. Really happy with the results so far with this strain. Flowering Day 66 Harvested today. I'm really happy with the run. Towards the end of the flowering phase, the plants didn't look 100% happy. I'll add more perlite and pumice next time, as I suspect the soil was a bit too moist for too long due to the Autopots. The whole plant will be dried in one piece. I'll dry one in DryFerm bags for testing purposes. Update: The DryFermbags worked well for me. I've tested them several times now and never had any mold, which I was initially worried about. However, I think that if you have the opportunity to dry the entire plant in one piece under reasonably controlled conditions, you can achieve at least the same, if not better, results. And the DryFermbags aren't exactly cheap. I hope this helps. Update to follow. Stay green!

6.4.25: FastBuds Mystery Seed #1: She has been topped twice and is looking pretty strong 💪 She has grown vertically, and leaves are always praying. Possibly too much light, so I have turned the dimmer down to about 90%. There are slight bleached tips on a couple of top leaves. I'm hoping to do the same LST with garden wire here very soon. Overall, the plant has nice big, fat leaves. Seemingly lush colour and vigorously growing since the double toppings. Very nice plant so far. 👌 13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 14.4.25: I have been super busy with all the other harvests in the past several days, so this is a little late. FastBuds Mystery seed #1 has been topped twice and the growth has been thick and lush. I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. I have been using wire, clips, and Bio stretch fabric plant ties to LST the plant. The plant has reached the 8 Gallon pot perimeter. The plant is in the first week of flower. I'm hoping to keep the canopy even with my RQS Northern Lights grow as I need to be able to compare the plants accurately for the experiments. I did snap off a branch, again the day after I said I'd be very careful 😖 The plant is very resilient though, and you wouldn't know anything happened at all, minus one of the first tops is missing. Thankfully I topped twice, so I still have 5 tops. Training Techniques used this week are LST and defoliation. I watered on 13th and 14th with the following solution; 4 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 8 ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 1/2 Teaspoon Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. PPM: 1000. 2 litres were given on two consecutive days. I watered in a top dress, which I will add what I used here, but it was another mess up, I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear 😅 Top dress: 4 gallons containing approximately: 50% Canna Terra Mix soil 25% Worm Castings 23% Perlite 2% Organic Dry Amendments, which were; ☆ Ecothrive Life Cycle ☆ Ecothrive Charge ☆ Diatomaceous Earth ☆ Ground Cinnamon ☆ RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules I used the top dress amount for established plants for a pot size of 30L / 8 Gallons. I'm not keen on the soil. I was supposed to get Canna Coco but I got sent Canna Terra in error. It was overdue for a top dress and I had nothing else to use. I don't like it in comparison. Coco is best for my needs. It's much fluffier, lighter, and easier to work with. Thanks for hanging out 🍃 ✌️ 💚 🙂
