Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Tag 53: So gut sieht die Cookie Gelato nicht aus. Sie sollte in diesem Alter erheblich größer sein 😱 . Ich vermute das zum Temperatur stress vor 2 Wochen noch eine überwässerung kam 😱 😨 Ich habe es zu gut gemeint, eigentlich Anfänger Fehler. Ich habe zu lange mit der Ballbrause schlückchenweise gegossen. Das habe ich sonst nicht getan, ich wollte es dieses mal besonders richtig machen 😵 zudem habe ich manchmal stessbeding nicht tief genug geschaut ob die Erde schon weit genug getrocknet war 😱 Ich hoffe es gelingt mir noch eine brauchbare Pflanze aus ihr zu machen 😬 Was soll ich sagen, ich habe den Grow abgebrochen, es schien mir nicht sinnvoll weiter auf Besserung zu warten. Ich starte mit neuen Samen.

The plant is in the middle of a perfect final "fade," with leaves turning deep purple and yellow as she exhausts her internal nutrient stores. Resin production is at its absolute peak—the buds are rock hard and completely over-wintered with milky trichomes. We are seeing the first few amber heads appearing, signaling that harvest is just around the corner. ​👃 TERPENES & AROMA The aroma remains incredibly potent. The dominant scent is a sweet, ripe tangerine, which is layered over a heavy, earthy, and slightly spicy base. It’s a very complex profile that has only become more refined during this final week. ​🌡️ ENVIRONMENT & VPD Conditions are being kept stable for the finish. Current readings show 24.8°C and 46% humidity, which keeps the VPD at a solid 1.65 kPa. This environment ensures the resin stays fresh and the dense buds remain safe from any moisture issues during the final days. ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING The flush is in full swing! I started using only plain, pH-regulated water on Thursday (2nd April). She is reacting perfectly to the water-only diet, pushing out the last of her resin while cleaning out all residual nutrients for a superior taste and clean burn. ​Current Feeding: Pure Water Only (Flush in progress since April 2nd) ~~ Citric acid (1.2 ml/l) ~~ ​💭 GROWER'S NOTE Week 13 (Flower Week 9). We are watching a masterpiece finish. The trichome coverage is insane, and the fruity-meets-earthy scent is a dream. I am monitoring the amber count daily now. We are looking for that perfect window to chop within the next 7-10 days. The excitement is real!

The Dark Lemonade Auto has officially reached the end of her run in the indoor tent, and it is time for the harvest! 📈 The Details / Harvest Report: Perfectly Ripe: After that final heavy flush with plain water, she is completely finished. Zooming in on the colas, you can see the pistils have completely curled in and darkened to a deep rusty orange. The trichome coverage is an incredibly dense, milky white blanket over the swollen calyxes. ❄️ The Final Form: Check out the full plant structure. She stripped herself bare! The autumn fade pulled almost all the remaining color from the fan leaves, leaving behind a stark contrast of yellow/purple foliage against those chunky, resinous buds. Tent Flip Ready: With the Dark Lemonade Auto coming down, the Pink Guava F1 officially gets the entire tent to herself. It is finally time to flip the lights to 12/12 and get that massive bush flowering! ⛺ 💧 Next Steps: I am taking her down right now! She will get a light wet trim to remove the large, dead fan leaves before heading into the drying environment. I started to look at the trichomes but most of them are still clear. At the end of the week, I reduced the nutrients and I will probably begin the flush next week.

Finished transplanting the girls earlier this week. Based on the stretch from the mother plants I can get these clones roughly 36" tall (from the floor in a 5 gallon pot) before flipping to flower. So I can pretty much double these in height to maximise the final yield. We'll be on cruise control here for the next 2-3 weeks before transplanting up to 5 gallon pots.Then I'll have them in veg for another week after transplant so the roots will expand. By this time I should also have a pretty good idea how long they'll take to flower based on my information from the mother plants.

Week 1 of flower

This week is starting phenomenal for this lady as well, she's growing veery fast under my tsl2000 by mars hydro and she has developed big leafs man, it's just a blessing to see this lady every morning, her sisters are phenomenal as well and so this isngonna be a beautiful 2x4 run with different flavors!
