Some of the older leaves started yellowing, so I used a little bit of mineral fertilizer and also added a spoonful of bone and blood meal. Although I think it is quite natural for them to use mobile resources and for leaves to die off, I added some fertilizer just once, especially for the nitrogen deficiency. But it will be a one-time thing. Other than that, nothing special happened. I do hope that the buds are getting bigger, but right now, I don't see much progress this week, except on the buds on the lower branches. In less than two weeks, my grow tent and new setup should arrive, so maybe she will finish inside a proper tent, and I'll get my kitchen back 😂 She is really smelly right now.

So week 7 down and this is the longest they’ve stayed looking this healthy. Finally avoiding under / over feeding them once they’ve used up all the nutes in the soil around week 5/6. This last week just a top dress with a locally sourced 2/8/4 organic amendment. And not overwatering of course, I’m giving them 3/4L every 4/5 days when the pots are properly light. Seems to have done the trick so far. Pretty stress free. Only issue is SP2. Not sure if it’s just a weird plant or I messed it up somehow. (I’m going with plant error as the others are fine). Anyway it just didn’t stretch, at all. Basically no side branches and all it’s pistils are shrivelled up already, looks about a week away from harvest with these puny little buds. Weird little thing. Only keeping it going for shits & giggles as there’s still space for it in the grow. This next week more of the same. Have put swapped the 600w bulb in for the 400w bulb as I try and gradually increase the light. Still in plenty of weed from last grows. Still no money spent on wankstain kids selling me crappy weed. This week we saw an incredible ammoubt if growth thanks to the beautiful sun we’ve had. I had to cover her over with a tarpaulin to give some shade at the highest points of the day as she was having some heat stress issues. Had the chance to give to do really Useful LST. As you can see in the pics the canopy has opened up well. Looking forward to seeing how she goes. Also this morning I noticed there are some pistils this means we are now entering flowering stage so I will begin to add some biobizz bloom and a little extra fish mix. During the first weeks of flowering all plants usually have a growth spurt! Autoflower a may only be a week or two but photoperiods can go upto 5weeks.

420Fastbuds-Papayton What up, fam, little update on these beautiful girls. They got rained on a few times the last couple of days as we've had some summer storms come through. I'm starting to see some pistols on one. I'll guess the other two won't be too far behind. All in all, Happy Growing.

Oct 22 - start of week 4 and things are progressing well but slow. She’s poken out her 4th node now so we’ll be pinchn er soon. Nutrient regimen is aggressive - so far no plain water breaks from feedings and it’s freakn me out a little. She seems to like it though and the drainage on the coco/purlite is crazy good. should be easy enough to rectify any lockout issues if they come up. Thanks again for taking a look and happy growing!👍 Oct 24 update - she’s really come along the past few days and while her stem is still real thin, she’s managed to sneak the entire 4th node past me unnoticed. We FIMMED today. No actual cutting just a modified pinch/crush only technique that leaves all new growth in place. Now we’ll let er recover and see how she turns out. 🤞🤞🤞I’ve been running a nute feed every single watering (every other day) since start and decided it was time for a plain ph’d maintenance rinse. YOU can definitely tell by the photos and new growth that it’s diverted it’s energy to bushing out. Back on the nutes and still lookn good - love the coco. We’ll see what develops - definitely some weird new growth coming up so it appears to have worked👌😎👍! Background This one is gonna be fimmed out and defo’d as a comparative to its manifolded kush sister. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft). With the coco medium we’re hoping for that 20% bump in yield as well. THANKS for check'n er out

Hello guys We lost a Bubba kush cause of my mistake, broke the main stem :( The girls had some Light burn and some Water issues, i had some problems with the building where im growing, but i hope its gonna get better soon with the ladies Didnt used any nutes yet but i can see some deficiency‘s if im not wrong, and a small amount of LST while they start to build more branches :) see ya next week

So it’s the end of Week 5, Day 35 for the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL auto flowering grow. I have come to the conclusion that these four plants are not going to be XL after their pre-flower stretch. Overall the plants are healthy but the prolonged low humidity and temperatures have robbed them of the vigorous growth documented in my previous Sweet Seeds diary (Cream Mandarine XL Autos). I am disappointed that this will most likely be an XS harvest but a tiny quantity of quality bud is better than nothing. I gave them their first feeding of GHE FloraNova Grow fertilizer at a rate of 1.25 ml/gallon and this is 1/4 of a full dose that would be given to a photosensitive strain. I am still watering every fourth day at a rate of 2.8 litres per plant or 0.7 of a litre per plant per day. I will only be using the fertilizer every other watering or every eight days. That’s about it for this update and on to… Mom’s Tip for Week #5- To Tuck or Take? The when, where, why and how to defoliate Autoflowers successfully…. Lets start with some basic Biology- Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants take in sunlight, water and Carbon Dioxide and transform it into energy in the form of sugars that feed the plant and make it grow. So essentially, every fan leaf on your plant is a solar panel collecting light and therefore valuable in it’s own right. I always try to tuck my leaves if possible before considering removal as my plants need all the energy they can get to power through until harvest. But sometimes tucking isn’t enough or just isn’t an option anymore so here are my suggestions for taking the fan leaves from your Cannabis plants if needed. When- defoliating Autos can be done anytime throughout the grow although it’s generally not done within the first 3-4 weeks. The plants are usually quite small and those early weeks are valuable growing time that these plants simply can’t afford to miss. This is when I find leaf tucking to be most valuable, allowing the plants to keep what few solar panels they have while also allowing the grower to position the leaves so that they are out of the way. I personally find that I defoliate my plants the most over the final 3-4 weeks of the grow as foliage is dying off on it’s own by that point and a few less leaves at harvest time is always a good thing! Of course anytime you see dead/dying or diseased foliage, it should be removed as needed throughout the grow. Where- defoliating Autos is a delicate balance due to their small size and short lifespan. If my plants are healthy, thriving and tucking is no longer an option, I will only remove fan leaves if they are covering/blocking new growth or potential bud sites. As the plants age and the foliage begins to die off naturally, I tend to remove the oldest, lowest growth first working my way up the plant as needed until harvest. Why- defoliating Autos is done for a few basic reasons but only as an extreme in my garden when all else fails. Removing certain large leaves will allow more light into the lower portion of the plant’s canopy reaching young branches or potential bud sites. As the plants age, it also helps with increasing airflow around your swelling buds thus reducing your risks for mold and fungi in humid grow environments. Removing any and all dead/dying or diseased foliage is absolutely necessary in keeping your plants healthy and the grow room clean and pest free. How- defoliating Autos is simple if you keep it simple. Only remove what you absolutely have to and use a sterilized set of sharp pruners for a clean, controlled cut. As the plants age and the foliage begins to die off naturally, just wait. What doesn’t fall off on it’s own will snap off with a simple twist of the leaf’s stem. If the leaves don’t come off with ease, they’re just not quite ready yet so be patient. Be mindful that removing the solar panels from your Cannabis plants is always risky business but Autoflowers are even more challenging in their own way. Smaller plants with a lower leaf to bud ratio and a short lifespan means less room for error so paying close attention to the when, where, why and how is crucial for successfully defoliating Autoflowers. Tuck if you can, only take what you absolutely have to and of course- never take more than 25% of your plant’s overall foliage at one time as this can be devastating or deadly to even the healthiest of plants. Allow your plants to take the lead and they will show you which leaves are ready to go- at what time, all on their own just as nature intended.

So there is actually very little work this week .. She has been a real joy to grow so far.. I do understand what they meant by pheno-hunting...

Well, this harvest didn’t go perfectly — my main cola got hit with bud rot, and I had to toss about 80% of the plant. Kind of glad I went with a perpetual harvest this time. Not sure if the rot started inside the tent or if I just didn’t pay enough attention during drying. Anyway, what’s left is honestly the best weed I’ve ever grown — maybe even the best I’ve ever had. Not because it’s the strongest, but because of the insane terps and the incredibly pleasant effect. The terps stayed exactly the same as they were in late flower: full-on lime pie and funk. I love it. Absolutely no mango in there, but who cares — if you’re into terps, this one is a benchmark for me. The effect is best described as a true hybrid: uplifting and creative, but with a relaxed, calm body high. No headache, no anxiety, no couchlock — just a perfect balance. I’m completely in love. This is solid proof that genetics are the single most important factor in a grow. Well done, Mephisto. Also, this stuff stinks! Absolute epitome of “loud.” I literally have to burp my jars with the window open because of how strong it is.

Día 39. La temperatura viene siendo un gran problema. Hace mucho frío y de noche en el lugar que está el indoor no tengo calefacción. Así que probablemente haya una merma en el resultado. De todos modos ya puse la lana de roca a remojo para germinar la próxima cepa. Ahora voy a ver bien que configuración uso para el próximo cultivo. Esta configuración que usé no fue un buen aprovechamiento del espacio.

Bueno, ayer hice el ultimo riego, mas cantidad de lo habitual, y ya cuando seque, se corta, supongo que actualizaré fotos, conforme avance la semana, del corte y posterior proceso ya que dado que hubo araña y ciertos problemas, voy a hacer el budwashing que habitualmente hago. En el video se ve algún cogollo con telaraña de araña roja, de ahí el budwashing. Dentro de lo malo, no son todos los cocos los que la tienen pero bueno, un buen lavado no jode nada.

Stretching is still going. Buds development is great and i have no issue what so ever so far. Just the leafs hang a bit due to less watering but that changed.

It was easy to harvest she was very small jut cut it quickly without stalks the wet weight is 17 g of the buds, nicely coated with THC and it was approx 70% milky and 40% amber trichomes. Hopefully good time to be harvested. This site has changed can not update and edit the comment section. The smoke is nice it is kind of relax and strong high. Not the best but not bad at all. I like it.

День 29. Чихать хотела растишка на топпинг, она все равно пытается разорвать бокс и горшок. Сегодня поливать не буду, скорее завтра. Субстрат пока сырой, пусть корни ищут влагу и растут. Чувствую через дней 10 буду делать SCROG и к концу 6-ой недели переводить на цвет. Имеем 4 этажа, 8 веток, что в принципе достаточно. Растет так быстро, что мелкие перья у семилистников не успевают развернуться. День 30. Кормление также по плану, 800/5.6. Обрезал 4 лапуха, так как после топинга потянулись вверх нижние этажи, но лопухи мешают и загораживают от света. Скоро начну пригибать ветки. Всего планируется 8 колл - по 2 с каждого этажа. Еще отодвинул от света подальше, горшки стояли на подставке. Как и хотел сделал растишку коренастой, а вот будущие коллы надо вытянуть, чтобы удобно было развести под сеткой. День 31. Уже даже не смотрю на PH и PPM, потому что рука набилась опять на этот гров. Замешивал AD phPerfect Coco по 2.5мл на 2 литра. Чуток снижаю PH/PPM чтобы не было засола. На дренаж не смотрел. Лень. По фото и так видно, как после топпинга даже рванули те листья, которые даже и не собирались расти. Стрельнул третий этаж. Чую нужно начинать загибать. Видимо, уже завтра. День 32. Не смотря на топпинг и дефолиацию растишка за 3 дня даже не то чтобы стрессанула, а увеличилась в объеме раза в 3 точно. При чем складывается впечатление, что она растет ночью, а не днем. Полив новым компотом 5.5/550, выход 5.9/530. Растиха начинает голодать, точнее аппетитно кушает. Завтра буду заряжать под 800. Центральный ствол уже толщиной примерно 5мм. По краям горшка уже видно куча повылезавших корней. Надо будет еще раз покормить микоризой. Пригнул два верхних этажа. Даже не знаю, буду ли делать SCROG или нет. 8 плотных веток мне хватит за глаза на пол года с одного куста, а у меня их два разных сортов. Наверное дождусь пока нижние этажи сравняются с верхними, переведу на цвет в конце 6-ой недели и посмотрим, нужен ли скрог или нет. Уж очень кусты низкие получились в этот раз. День 33. Натянул сетку и будем выравнивать этажи. Как все подрастут и разойдутся по углам - буду переводить на цвет. Полив GHE, PPM/PH - 740/5.5, выход 638/6.3. Говорит что мало жратвы и надо еще. Завтра подниму до 1000 PPM. Надо PH поднять до 6.8 в дренаж. День 34. Обнаружил что серьезно облажался с самого начала грова... Новый TDS метр по умолчанию показывает в μs, а мне надо в PPM. Коэфициент кондуктомера 0.5, то есть у меня компот в два раза меньше насыщенности, чем нужно. То то у меня вечно PPM падает, а PH растет и понять не могу почему так активно жрет, но растет не так как нужно. Судя по моему же дневнику и фоткам, активно росло именно тогда, когда проливал 800-1000μs (400-500 PPM). Пролил теперь уже нормальным компотом Coco Grow A+B PPM/PH 740/5.7, выход с дренажа 483/6.3. Жесть какой низкий PPM. Надо будет понаблюдать.
