Coming into the home stretch here. I've been flushing for a week, going to give her one more good watering then plan on harvesting this weekend. I still don't see any amber trichomes, but I don't want the dying leaves to cause any bud rot, so amber or not she's coming down this weekend. The smell is super STRONG!!!👍

Day 56 Things are coming on nicely , buds are in boost mode , so gave them just organic PK booster from BAC and homemade Fermented fruit Juice , KNF FFJ ( banana x sugar )

So, this is my first grow, just starting out. After NJ passed recreational weed, I was like you know what... Went on an amazon spending spree and got some seeds from cropkingseeds and this is it! I let the seeds soak for 18hr in deer park spring water w/ 1 drop of Organic Liquid Seaweed and Kelp Fertilizer Supplement by Bloom City. At the end of soakage, it didn't look like any had cracked maybe one did not so sure. So I did up the papertowels according to the video and have to say I feel a little nervous/anxious that there is too much water/weight on the seeds and feer drownage. I'm going to keep it on there though. I check the towels a few times throughout the day and am surprised they're very moist throughout the day and next morning still somewhat damp. 24 hours in the towels I check my babies and one had cracked but the rest were still sealed up tight, unwilling to share the goodness that we all so desire, cmon babies crack that shell for papa! 11/12 looked like 1 seed popped, yay! I remoistened towels a bit but didn't wanna soak them. I also put some rapid rooters in water to soak overnight gunna throw the seeds in them in AM... I was going to do it tonight but figured I should wait see if some pop out more. 11/13 OMG upon checking seeds at 07:10 I found the papertowels like bone dry OMG WTF!!! Panic sets in but I just set up the little terrarium with 6 plugs and put the seeds in and tore some plugs off bottom of a plug to cover seedhole with. 11/14 Got a sprout! YES!! The plugs look nice and moist just going to let it go! 11/15 Woke up this mornin, saw a new sprout peeking thru and then another about to! I got ansy and took off the little top plugs and found all the sprouts were coming up! Leaving the top plug off, hopefully thats not a bad idea.

Kannabia Run – Weekly Update The girls seem to love the environment and conditions! 🌿 Out of the 3 Monkey Grease, 2 were topped and one also got some LST. They’re showing strong, healthy growth and look like they’re going to be big plants! So far, everything points to Kannabia having great genetics! Next week, I’ll transplant them into 3L pots, and then in about two weeks, they’ll move to their final pots. Let’s go, Kannabia! 🚀

Day 56 flowering: This lady continues to amaze me with her want to keep going on. I think this last week has been a swelling week ,mixed with a new pistil flush that is still in full swing. Now she has more room to spread out , her lowers are getting some nice par and a starting to look close to a finish now too. Her smell is so fresh peeled fruit that it makes me drool when I smell them up close. lol. The bud rot is sorted and not been any issue since I sorted the dehumidifier out and checking through the huge buds , there are no more sites of concern at all. I did finish the drought stress at day 5 instead of the full 9 days I wanted to try, I coukd not see them start to look rough amd lose the green so had to begin the feed again. lol I am checking the trichromes occasionally now too and seeing a lot of clear still but certainly starting to cloud up in a lot of the bud stacks. She takes about 15L from dry to water the pots and by the next day she has sucked the surface few inches dry so feeding very well again now. I think at least another week for her to finish pushing her pistils and starting to ripen. Well worth the extra time to finish her perfectly as Sweet seeds intended. Thanks for coming by. Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

Huge growth this week with this girl. Just feeding with water still, but she's chugging along. 2 weeks above ground as of this update (2.5 weeks from seed). I'll be starting my next seed this week, decided to go with Diesel Auto from Royal Queen Seeds as the next up. Look for that journal next week.

We harvested one of the Purple OG Punch girls , this is going to be a weird entry because I decided to not make a harvest entry till the other one lady finishes. Unfortunately because of my sticky fingers from all the trimming I did not make many pictures/videos of the grow itsels, to fill this void I decided on including the harvest videos and photographs. Although the final weight will be summed up in the final harvest. We finally see that our problem with the plants may not a deficiency but overfeed...decided to leave the reservoir as it is for this week and add only fresh water next week we will flush the system and for seven days the girls will only drink water. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE7000 runs at 520 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. Hold Your Machetes, Growers! This Lady's Got a Surprise! I know, I know, week 10 is supposed to be harvest time, the moment we've all been waiting for. But hold onto your hats, because my girl had other plans! She decided to throw a MUTATION PARTY, and let me tell you, it's getting wild in the grow tent! My main cola, that beautiful, bodacious babe, decided to stretch by a whole 10cm, packing on tons of frosty white flowers. Talk about top-heavy! She's thicc with a capital T, and oh so juicy. Now, I couldn't let all that goodness go to waste, so I carefully trimmed about 20g of the smaller buds that were ready, leaving my main cola to continue its glorious transformation. ✂️ But wait, there's more! This sassy lady also decided to turn one of her leaves into a full-blown flower. Talk about a genetic surprise! I don't know if it's the Plagron or the Zamnesia genes in her, but I've definitely never seen anything like it. So, here's to unexpected mutations, XXL colas, and plants that keep us on our toes! Stay tuned, growers, because this is one grow diary that's about to get even more interesting.

WW#1: Opening the jar stinks up the whole house...kinda like if you had a basket full of lemons, limes, and oranges...and left them in the trunk of your car for a week of 100 degree weather...very sour/funky. Only one week of cure so far, so can't give a full review on taste, but it's pungent and kinda tastes like it smells...sour and funky with a hint of fresh cut oak (or is it mahogany??) I've gotten a little bit noseblind to the pungency, and now I'm saying that an upclose sniff of a bud smells kinda like a mix of the funky rotten citrus fruit I mentioned before, but doused with a little turpentine. Short/stocky, good branching able to support it's own bigass buds. The main cola was 100g, wet, and just under a foot long. Total dry weight was 85g. WW#2: Murdered on 8/26! Main cola was almost 15 inches and weighed 120g, wet. She's bigger and badder...can't wait to taste her...😍 Total dry weight was 90g. I updated my lighting to reflect actual draw wattage and my grow room space to 4 square feet because that's all that these two plants required. I think the numbers are a more accurate representation of the truth about my yield for the two White Widows in this grow. Can't wait to smoke her!
