Not bad nice struckt

Heeey guys! A rather fast update this time, right? I was always 1 week late with the updates but decided to speed things up a little this time! 😋 And now, to summarize this week I'd say it was fun! 😃 While I was still unsure if I wanted to go for 8 colas or just stick with 4 (I wasn't 100% sure last week! I'm a very indecisive person!) and after taking into consideration all the pros/cons and my own skill level I decided to just stick to 4 for now. I don't want the buds to fight for light and since this is my first time doing main-lining I'm sure I might end screwing things up with 8 colas. 😗 Besides what I mentioned earlier I did a lot of trimming (had to cut the remaining branches and extra foliage!) and gave a friend some cuttings of my babies! (after all I had 8 spare ones from each plant!) I also went for a more aggressive with LST since I know I'll need more space between each in the future colas! 💪 I also moved Boomer to a new container, she was getting somewhat crowded in such a small space! (I'm so impressed she's growing so well right now!) 😍 You'll once again see two time lapses showing how my plants were growing, I hope you all will enjoy them! 😉 Probably I'll stick for one or two more weeks in veg (I want the plants to grow a bit more before going into flower) but so far most of the work is done. There was a visible attack this week. The temperature is between 25-27, the humidity varies between 60-65. There was a slow development due to excessive irrigation and I could not do LST due to the distance of the room to me. I am planning to fall leaves next week.

Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

Day 77 - Was her last day. To be truthful she wasn't 100% ready going on the trichomes but needs must and the other photoperiod girls need their space now. It's crazy how my own personal ability has changed over the years. Blackberry is a strain I've grown every 12 months roughly, GrowDiaries is a fab place to track your learning. Looking back through my old grows I must have been mad to think they were ready to harvest! Way too early! Maybe that's the biggest thing I've learned - patience. Don't be too eager to chop, there is a lot to be gained extending by 2 or 3 weeks... Anyway, back to this girl. She has been chopped and trimmed. Have a look thru the pics, if you see a piece of black tape on the stem the apex bud on that branch was BACKBUILT. I have to say the technique REALLY does work. Those buds look fatter and denser than the others that have been left natural. It seems effective to be done about halfway through flowering, but no later than 3/4 of the way. FINAL UPDATE: So after 2 weeks in the drying net she weighed out to 87.81g. Not a great deal but she was compromised by the photoperiod plants she shared the tent with. It wasn't the full purple phenotype like I had twice before but still she looks pretty.

Day#37 update: i finally made her beg for her water . The way all her leaves are hanging at a downward angle , then in the 1st video if you look you can see her “drooping” leaves begin to “pray” stand themselves back up. O watered her to run off then did a life-medium defoliation instead of a super heavy one like I planned and then I “ponytailed” each of her main tops to allow the other nodes to become strong to produce more branching . Day#40Update: the re-growth from defoliating & pony tailing has been decent . On one or two she’s trying her hardest to break out of the tie. I’ll release her from the ponytails later today & we’ll see where we are in two days for day #42 week 6 The plan is still to top all her main tops after untying the ponytails . Day#42 Update : end of week #6 she’s growing so evenly and well that I ru still don’t see a benefit in topping. These lateral sode branches are growing for what they know . She’s a squat plant for sure but man is she full. She’s been in this one gallon since day #9 so it’s been 33 days she should be asking for food soon . I’m debating on top dressing her in the one gallon or up-potting during a transplant for her . Part of me wants to skip forward straight to a 6gall pot but part of me is saying to “punish” her a little more and leave her in this pot a few more weeks .

The aroma is definitely fully developing now, I'm getting more green apple smell with a creamy sweetness, it's hard to describe 😂 I've started to taper off the nutrients in the past few days, in the next couple of days I'm going to start watering with plain water until the end. Trichomes are getting cloudy. She is fattening up nicely and she seems to just keep piling on the weight, buds are looking dense. Not long now, probably about 2 weeks give or take 👌🏻🏻💚 have a good weekend, stay high ...

Before flipping 12/12 im adding 3g/l of substrate bio Bloom cover IT with wormhumus And watering with compost Tea for Flowering . Then ONLY clear water And every week bio enhancer 1g/l

DAY 87: So I finally repotted the White Widow, though, still not into a 5-gallon. I have a second tent on the way that I'll use strictly for vegging and will allow me to the room to veg out in larger pots with more freedom. I also gave the White Widow some much needed defoliation, and now I can finally see the structure of the plant. I also topped two of her tallest colas to let the rest of the canopy catch up. The Lucky Charms is moving right along. She has a very lemony smell to her. Maybe even closer to a Skittles smell. Also happy to say that the Lucky Charms clone has rooted, and this plant's legacy and beast genetics will continue.

I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing. Esta semana seguimos con la floración para dejarla solo 1 semana más en fase vegetativa 😃 Durante esta semana y la que viene empezaremos a reducir los nutrientes para que poco a poco vaya teniendo los alimentos de floración y haga su transcurso como debe. Por el momento tiene un sistema radicular muy solido con un gran tronco creado en estas 7 semanas 💪 Esperemos que siga con la misma fuerza que hasta ahora 😊
