35 days since switching to 12/12, and the Trop Cherry lady is showing her true beauty. The leaves are gradually turning purple, and resin production is in full swing. Watering has been limited to dark molasses and a few microbes to keep the soil active 🍀🌲

Last week i received my new ph meter and came to the conclusion that my ph paper wasn't good anymore the last watering was ph5, probably for longer period that's where the burning's coming from so, it looks like near finishing, so only water from now on, with a little high ph to compensate the ph in the soil. All looks well, a whole bunch of tiny buds and looks very nice she also has a small baby, which seems to have rooted, if she does well she will get a seperate diary --update i pushed a stck into a ready to harvest bud to boost trichome production --update2 i identified this as candy kush i see larger trichomes within a day after mutulating ths stem of that bud

She was left to dry for 13 days. I smoked some of her buds while drying. Offical weight could of been higher if I had the patience. She have a unique smell, very fruity and musky. I will have to wait for the cure to give more fair analysis. I smoke her in the evening when I am winding down after work and preparing for sleep. I had to weigh her in two parts. One part I took my time to trim the other I just gave a rough trim and placed in jars. I took about 3hrs to trim.

After 14 days of burying the popped seeds these were the results using the bac germination method, but on a substrate experiment the, interesting results shows that on the 28 seeds, up to 14 days the decimation was ambient factors, nowadays 9 are thriving on light mix unlikely coco coir that damped off way more , i can't say coco is bad as the freebie i received shall be very welcomed if is not as good to germinate , is more gtg to to clone some interesting black roses pheno and the good karma part will be present on the next run, just with prone cuts tried to be converted to side plants. There is a slight chance that there can be more or less plantlings with the course of the weeks as some had grown but didn't drop of the shell . Heat was oven like at some moments and had a negative influence, as i fight 30c at peak hour temperatures trying to keep them fresh with the humidifier at 75% ambient, and 26c average . There is a reduced chance that some plants can still damp off but , i just need 8 as i intend to use 7 or 11lt plastic pots , buts that no reason to treat them bad, the weather is fortituous and i can't control it more , so I MUST STATE, THESE SMALL CREATURES EAT BETTER THAN ME. they will be feeded with biobizz, bac, atami, and top crop, the products i use to keep my hair fabulous. shoutout to tanu mapu because they will be a repeater when i need to provide myself with quality soil.

Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.

So this week not much to say, girls doing great, all 15 of them. But I noticed few small flies around my pots, fungus gnats to be exact. So I let all pots to fully dry, removed abit of top soil and covered with some stone gravel. Also placed sticky traps to completly get rid of them motherf***ers. Watering every 2 days with pH corrected water. Upcoming week going to introduce to first feeding. Going to use GHE Trio for the first time, schedule borrowed from #FromSeedToStoned youtube channel. This plant has been very enjoyable to grow and the smell of it is incredibly Pleasant I will update when the plants are drying and ready for curing it will take approximately between 7 and 14 days because I wait until the main stem snaps with a crunchy sound. Day 5 of drying and they are still far away from ready but they're starting to show a nice Colours now . the smell it's becoming very powerful even without curing I know many Growers cut them down when the smaller branch are snapping off easy but I wait until the main stem I bend and a crunch very dry sound come out of it because I don't like to deal with mold and I have a very busy life can be opening curing jars every few hours everyday that's why a good Boveda packs and a good drying are my best friends. These are the weights for the two plants that one that was bigger #1 is 51.12 grams the second plant #2 was 36.17 grams . They smell very nice like a kiwi skunk smell to it . The high are strong and last about hour and a half to two hours. For a regular smoker I will classified as day stuff on the Stoney side. With a high THC probably what is advertised on their website . This is very good for somebody who wants to have a quick grow of very good stuff or somebody who lacks space but doesn't want to sacrifice quality. The fact that I couldn't get a large yield out of it was a bomber for me I really like plants that are capable of producing a large yield. Taste 10 out of 10 Aroma 10 out of 10 High 8 out of 10 . day. strong THC. Yield 6 out of 10. Easy to grow strain. Possible to crop in 65 days from seed at 20h lights on.32 Centigrades and 45%humidity. Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Buds are really setting up nicely. French Macaron smells right on brand... and the Chem Brulee... my god! It smells like a Tropical Rocket Fuel. Amazong. The Pineapple Meatball has a really unique odor, but it is still fairly faint. Hoping that the neem/nute burn didn't somehow affect its resin/terp/bud production. It certainly hasn't seemed to affect the French Macaron and the Chem Brulee! This week, I sprayed 3 times with Dr Zymes, and it completely knocked out the small number of fungus gnats I was dealing with. Also released 4,500 ladybugs, and it's been fun watching them spread and work. Will probably stick with the once-per-week Zymes treatment for the next few weeks.
