Girls had a good week of mostly sun and rain for the end of the week. Upped the girls feed yesterday to 1400 ppm 2.8 ec, Almost to the max for outdoors, in the ground, grows. Girls are a nice green with big beautiful leaves. No clawing or burnt tips and the stems of the leaves are all green like they should be.the Breakup Cake and the Silver Widow in this garden are a lot smaller than the gelato, but that is fine. Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Dec. 25 - Merry Christmas! Week 12 begins. Dec. 31 - I gave her 1 Litre of nutrient solution and about 500 mL spring water over the week, starting the day with a spring water flush then continued the day with nutrient solution.

Day 49 - Had to put the 3 Girl Scout cookies on a 12/12 light cycle to get them to switch to flower for some reason, first time I have had that happen with autos but all the plants are doing good, 2 of my strawberry pies are showing a little calmag deficiency but overall they are doing great and getting extremely frosty! Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. WELL WELL WELL BROTHERS OF THE WEED! MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SEED HOUSE WAS SENSATIONAL !!!! AS WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE OF GROWING MY PLANT IN PHOTOPERIOD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE ...... THE RESULT ???? FANTASTIC QUALITY GEMS THAT SPILL WITH GLUE. MY SUPER CHALLENGE WAS MAKING THEM GROW OUTDOOR FOR THE WHOLE VEGETATION, THEN PUSH THEM TO FLOWER IN THE TENT! IT WAS NOT SIMPLE .... AT THE BEGINNING I HAD TO FACE MANY PARASITES .... BUT AFTER VARIOUS PRECAUTIONS WE WERE ABLE TO GO THE RIGHT TOWARD ME AND MY BELOVED CHILDREN .... I CUT THE BUDS FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM, that is, I REDUCED THE CANOPY BY CUTTING FIRST THE TOP AND AFTER A FEW DAYS, THE UNDERLYING PART. THEIR RESISTANCE WAS REALLY NOTABLE FOR THE LITTLE SPACE AVAILABLE IN THE TENT AND SINCERE I BELIEVE THAT I COULD NOT ASK MORE FROM SANTA CLAUS THAT A LARGE HARVEST IS EXCELLENT QUALITY FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS (IF THIS WE COULD HOLIDAYS) AFTER AN EXPERIENCE SO CLEARLY POSITIVE .... 10/28 - Pushing this update three days early since much has changed. Did a solution change earlier today to the new mix (as noted) which settled in about 740ppm (570ppm nutrients, 1.14ec + tap). After approximately eight hours (including a dark cycle), she registered 720ppm, but we will see how she swings over the next few days. The other lady in the video was given the same nutrient solution at the same time and is now showing some dark buildup on her roots that this Amnesia XXL Auto doesn't have. Her growth has been fantastic so far and she is responding well to the nutrients. I am excited to see how this goes considering this is my first DWC run and first run with Dyna Gro. Any comments, questions, observations, or concerns are always welcome. Happy Growing! Edit: 10/29 - Added 2ml/gal Botanicare Hydroguard as a preventative for any potential root issues. Edit: 10/31 - Removed two large fan leaves that were actively shading new growth nodes. PPMs have slowly climbed up to 750. Lowered to 700 with pH'ed water. Added second Mars Hydro SP150 and raised to 18" above canopy.

Flipping these biatches today, gummy buns have coped well with my not so dialled in room!! Give them a defol gotta make sure there’s no light leak etc and we’re ready to go✌️🏼
