Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Heeeey all! Sorry for the extremely slow update! The past few weeks have been crazy for me! 😱 This week I made a lot of defoliation and decided to be somewhat greedy. I'll let the plants grow a bit more so they'll stretch well during flower! So while I defoliate I'll allow the plants to recover properly! 💪 Near the end of the week I also made another mistake with Roko (poor baby! 😭). I broke another of the stems (the one that divided the plant in two, right in the middle) and I feared the worst! But so far the plant kept growing without any problems. I'm still thinking a name for my 4th baby, she has surprised me greatly and I didn't notice how many new branches had grown until I defoliated her and I'm sure she'll deliver some great buds! 😍 Anyway everyone, this is all for now. Plants are doing well. Watering roughly once weekly continues to be the current schedule. In this week's watering (week 6, Thursday), a nutrient mix was added (19% Nitrogen, 5% Phosphate, 20% K2O). pH was measured (via the runoff/drainage water collected) on all three plants using a pH probe, of which was measured to be slightly acidic for all plants (exact pH numbers above in the photo descriptions). We are aiming for a pH range of 6.0-7.0, so in next week's watering, we will add a buffer solution to alkalize the soil. All three plants lower branches were also pruned.

This plant is a beast.. she is massive and well into her stretch. Loads of bud sites and great spacing between nodes. I had to supercrop her as she was pushing twice the height of all othe girls in the room. She took it well and is fully recovered and just great. Love this plant. Very odd smell quite disgusting ATM tbh.. I started giving this girl a light misting with some fishmix and activera for a few days as she was looking like she was not getting enough food. 5 days on she is looking good Thanks for stopping by. finly she shows signs of flowering start so here we count in flowering now cant wait to see how she will do. so far im not convinced by 12/12 no "time" savings at all if there are big enough buds it could be a energy saving option.

Ehi ragazzi come va? Spero a voi tutto bene, io ho avuto problemi con la polizia che devi stare molto più attento da ora in poi.. La pianta sembra che stia bene ma la resina è poca, per di più ho avuto problemi di muffa, che spero di aver risolto, come vedete dalle foto alcune cime sono andate... 😢Ma apparte questo la ragazza è bella grande e le cime continuano a crescere, dovrebbe essere pronta settimana prossima ma le cime continuano a diventare sempre più ciccione! Staremo a vedere! Ora siamo alla 16 settimana in tutto ragazzi una bestia! Grazie a xpert nutrients e alla genetica di anesia seeds davvero questa pianta sta diventando una bellezza nonostante i problemi che ha avuto, sembra essere un fenotipo bello resistente,.. Per il resto vi terrò aggiornati con nuove foto, è tutto quello che posso fare per adesso.. Vi adoro ragazzi! Flowering: Week 10 since 12/12 change, Week 8 after 1st pistils, Breeder states 9 week flowering period 11/24 - Trichome Check - roughly 95% cloudy, 5% clear, few random ambers, will check again in 2-3 days, but definitely starting to mature 11/28 - Trichome Check - roughly 95% cloudy, 2% clear, 3% random ambers, will check again in 2-3 days, shooting for 20-30% amber NOTE: Included picture of 2nd Blue GSC I've been growing side by side with this diary. The 2nd plant was planted 3 weeks behind the plant seen in this diary and only had LST with no topping. The plant actually surpassed IMO the one I've kept a diary on and I'd have to attribute that to a combination of not being topped and a slightly larger pot giving it more room to grow. This week marks the beginning of the flowering phase for the lady. With temperatures reaching 33°C (91°F) and plenty of sunshine, it's been an excellent start. Overall, the plant is healthy with vibrant color, strong branches, and a sturdy stem. Small buds are already visible, emitting a faint aroma. Trichomes are barely noticeable but definitely present on the calyxes. The leaves are causing some concern, though. I suspect over-fertilization, so I've reduced the feeding schedule to once a week and switched the rest to clear water. LST has been adjusted again, encouraging the plant to grow wider. It's becoming very compact, almost like a small boxwood shrub, especially compared to my other plants. Additionally, there was heavy rainfall, which provided the plant with a good 0.5 liters (0.13 gallons) of rainwater with a pH value of 7.46.

Die verbleibenden 2 Pflanzen machen sich gut und werden auch bald geerntet. Die Pflanzen werden seit dem 20.01.2025 nur noch mit Wasser ohne Dünger gegossen.

Amazing week! Starting to smell absolutely Devine! Some cherry funk to cherry funk with a hash back and some with just lighter hashy lind of smell all looking great except one oheno growing funky finger nugs (one of the better smelling phenos tho) Need to clone 4,6,3!

ZkyzcraperZ - N.Y.Ceeds Day 105 🚿 She has been watered with 3L of plain RO tap water pH'd to 6.3. She is approaching harvest, so I've steadily reduced her nutrients over the last few feedings until all nutrients had been removed from the water. She has now received her final watering, so once she dries back I will harvest her 🙏🏻 ✂️ I removed a couple of sugar leaves from around the flower at the top canopy to improve light penetration, but other than that it's been smooth sailing 🤞🏻 🌸 Shes into week 9 of bloom and her pistils have mostly turned amber and her trichomes are basically all milky with about 20% turning amber, so we are maybe two days from harvest 🙌🏻 I've dropped her down and away from the light source so she stays cooler and to delay her dry back by a day or so, to give her more time to use up any nutrients left in the soil. Hello everyone week 9 has passed ☀️ The weather is perfect this year temperature around 25 degrees & humidity 40%-50%😎 For the nutrient i increase a little bit + wood ash from the pizzeria around the corner🍕+ bio molasses🍭 Its like a booster for last weeks of flowering🔥 The buds are fattening very nicely. I force the plants to flower in my garage 100% lightproof. So every morning and every night i remove all the plants from my garage at the same hours 💪 See you next week 🤩

Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. It is so well made, it oozes quality, I just want to touch it every time (also to check if it stays cool) and it is just sexy, slender, and compared to my other 300 watt light, a completely different spectrum and clarity. This light could signal to other galaxies. I sincerely recommend good sunglasses with this light. Only thing I'm adding is an infrared light Sunshine found. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do? Looking good and pretty healthy, getting closer to the end. Impressed by how this is going so far.

So we're a couple weeks into flower now. I finally got my hands on a ph meter. Our water has a ph of 7.8 but with nutrients comes down to high 6s. Runoff ph was 6.3ish. I'll keep an eye on it the next few feeds and see what happens. Had a couple weekends where I've been away and girl has dried out a bit between waterings but she's held up under the stress ok. LST has been reasonably successful for both my girls. Will see how yield compares to prev grow. Have just got my hands on some bud burst which I've started adding today.

War eh nur ein Experiment, wie sich die Pflanzen bei 4 h direktem Sonnenlicht verhalten auf dem Balkon. Ertrag ist dem entsprechend gering & die Dichte der Blüte fehlt, sehr sehr Fluffig aber der Geruch/Geschmack erinnert an 2014er Vibes. Also Smoke Qualität ist super und die Wirkung sehr klar & clean. Werde die Sorte sicherlich nochmal im Zelt ausgrown.

The amount of harvest was good even though I lost basically one whole plant to the meldew. So the harvest would have even been double.. But yeah I can not complain about the quantity. I will see how the smoke test goes 💪
