#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. Hi everyone I'm not very happy I top them very late I should done it 2 days ago or yesterday coz I been very poorly couldn't even get out off bed but I topped all lady today (day16)from 6th node and 1 from 4th node(by accident) I cut the wrong stem then I have to cut rest so hope it doesn't effect yield Day 21 they are so bushy already 1plant day21 start preflowering I feed them 1ml silica 2ml biogrow 2ml heaven 2ml activera 1ml alg amic With 1L ph water each Plant every day Following week will reduce grow and add some bloom and top max (Recommended silica liquid for everyone)

Trying out another sativa. Hopefully more luck this time around. Things are looking much better than the previous ones (Selena and Halle Berry). Let's hope for the best!

Seems to be doing well! Stretch appears to be complete and a little LST daily is keeping all of the air and light moving around nicely. Hoping for a solid harvest in a few weeks!

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making their way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

5/4 I stupidly watered everything this morning. They were pretty much perfect weight for transplant......then I watered them. Oh well. If that's the worst mistake I make I'll be ecstatic. Went back over and found my 1 gal and 2 of those wierd slanty airports that tapers and holds like a gallon and a half and washed them. I mixed up 12 gallons of soil in a garbage bag and mixed it thoroughly with my gloved hands. It's mixed good. Looking at my plants in sadness thinking, "today could've been the day" and noticed a Special Kush of average size I didn't water that weighed in the 220's. I was happy. I filled the pit arpund a cup before removing it leaving the perfect hole. Mykos and water were poured in. Plant came out of the cup REALLY easy. Suprisingly easy. This wasn't totally dry. I was amazed it came out so easy so I kinda rolled it around looking at the roots. I started lowering it in the hole and I felt something break away but it webt DIRECTLY into the hole made for it. I tucked some soil around it but it was pretty tight from packing it around the empty cup. Didn't take a picture but the plant is fine. That was an average size plant too. So I may have to give some of the strains I popped later a little longer before I transplant. After everything's been transplanted I'll need to change lighting again. I think I'll open the window and use the hps and the l.e.d on the days and nights cThat's these girls won't be hardening off. I so wanna go plant those others but my intuition tells me to wait until morning and it's been serving me well. A couple can stay in cups longer. Not much longer but still. 5/5 Transplanted everything but two this morning into 1 gals with 1/2 happy frog half ocean forest. Mykos and water used during transplant. Found put the l.e.d was on for 24hrs for a while. I made sure the timer switch was ON but it was a different cord plugged in. Oh well. All transplants went perfect. I'm picking up an adapter for the outlet so I can plug the power strip into the timer and only use one timer. I had to hang the 150watt hps back up with the 1,000 watt equivelant 105 true watts. I hope this lighting setup works. Chemdog #4 and One MK Ultra will be transplanted later today or later in the morning. I also opened the shade to the south facing window. Shits getting real. EDÌT: I FINISHED TRANSPLANTING THE LAST TWO PLANTS AND PICKED UP THE ADAPTER SO I COULD HANG THE HPS NEXT TO THE L.E.D. THEY WERE FIBE WHILE I WAS GONE. EASIEST TRANSPLANTS EVER. THEY ALL LOOKED PERKY AND HAPPY SIX OR SEVEN HOURS POST TRANSPLANT. I OPENED THE CURTAIN TO (SOUTH FACING WINDOW) BUT I MADE SURE THE PLANTS WEREN'T IN THE DIRECT LIGHT. EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD PROBABLY BE FINE. LAST TIME I HAD SEEDLING IN DIRECT LIGHT. I'LL PLAY IT BY EAR BUT IM HAPPY. EDIT 2. Went back over to meditate by the stream and do my qigong. It's 75 and BEAUTIFUL today. The girls will be going out for a few hours on days like this. Anyway when I went in I was surprised to see everything looking nice and happy with praying leaves. Nothing is in direct sunlight but damn that window let's in a lot of light. 5/6 Girls LOVED the transplant! They seem to be all happy. No stress. Easiest transplant I've done. Leaves are praying upwards so I think the lights are approx tje right distance. They'll be going outside soon to harden off. It's been in the 70s but it's rainy now. I'll play it by ear according to weather. I'll continue to monitor lighting and I may lower the hps. 5/7 The soil was super dry when I went over this morning. Everything looked awesome though. I used about a half gallon watering. I don't want to water to run off. I want to keep the nutes IN the soil. It's also easier to fix an undet watered plant than an over watered one. It came out to about a half gaterade bottle on the biggest and half that on the smallest. I'll gradually increase water after I monitor the response. The water sat on the soil for quit a while so they definitely needed it. Looking good so far. 5/8 Soil lookeddry this morning. I think I'm going to up the water. Last time I dod seeds I gave like a pink. Some plants still had a little dampness where I watered that I could see. Others looked dry but happy. I gave the REAL dry bigger ones a small circle around the rootball. Just in case. I'm thinking of lowering the hps slightly so it's at least level with tje L.E.D. That window being open gives tons of light. If u moved them slightly left they'd get DIRECT sun most of the time. I'll be bringing them outside soon to start hardening them off. EDIT: WENT TO CHECK THE GIRLS AT 5 TO MAKE SURE THEY WERENT DRIED OUT. THESE GIRLS ARENT JUST GETTING BIGGER BY THE DAY THEYRE LOOKING BIGGER FROM MORNING TO NIGHT! ITS BEEN RAINING LIKE CRAZY BUT WE WILL HAVE GREAT WEATHER NEXT WEEK AND I'LL BE BRINGING THEM OUTSIDE. I'M SUPER HAPPY WITH GROWTH SO FAR. ILL PROBABLY HST (TOP/FIM) AT THE NEXT NODE. I WANT THEM TO SETTLE IN NICELY BEFORE STRESSING THEM. 5/9 I may have stupidly uploaded doubles of pictures from today. Soil LOOKED real dry. I gave the plants their first real watering. I still went light. Almost a gallon with all plants. I know many say I should be watering to runoff but I want to keep the nutes in the soul as long as I can I don't want to overwater. I always start out careful. Once they show they xan tolerate it I'll increase water next time. This weekend it will be raining but after that we are getting some real good weather and I'll he taking the girls out to begin hardening off. I also need to take a look and top/FIM the plants now that they are settled. Also need to wash grow bags and sanitize outside. 5/10 It's pouring out. Horrible night and morning but this is about cannabis. After the watering ALL the plants shot up in size! Substantially. Leaves are over the sides of containers. I think I'm somewhere close with the watering schedule. I may bring the hps light down a little. I also NEED to start HST. I need to FIM and/or top these girls. Unfortunately I've been dealing with medical problems of my wife so I haven't got to it. If I get some sleep I may do something this morning or in the afternoon.

Started just for fun not sure if it's mail or female but it's going well so far .

For this week or the next, I had planned to harvest the Sour Strawberry, but while inspecting the plant, I found some nanners - still mostly in hidden inside the bract - which made me decide to chop it a few days early. Most likey due to heat stress endured due to stretching too much or me turning up the lights to 80% for a while a few weeks ago, I can't be certain that there aren't other nanners or haven't been any in the weeks prior. I expect to find some seeds here and there, but overall I don't think it's going to be a lot. The nanners and harvest aside, this week wasn't very eventful just like the last one. The Acapulco Gold has started to visibly and quickly fade, I'm removing a couple of yellow leaves every day. Trichomes are still in part clear, I expect this one to take at least another 2-3 weeks. The other plants haven't changed much, the trichomes are also still partially clear, similar to the Acapulco Gold, so I'll probably give them at least another 2 weeks. They started drinking less water, so I'll probably also put a little less into the tank this week, given that it's one less plant now, too.
