This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

This is final harvest week in the growroom Plants are coming down all around me. As always I strip the plants down and put them back under the lights for a few days then I cut them down a hang them by the toes until around 20% humidity which is still a little wet but I like to start the sweating early so it slows the drying down a little and starts the cure Thanks for stopping by and for following along with me on another grow... 1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing! 2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower. 03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱 Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. These fast bud genetics have given me a new hope for autos. For 53 days I have some nice sized colas and buds with beautiful color and the most amazing smells. I can’t believe these things just get better by the day. Can’t wait to grow my next set of fastbuds genetics

Sorry had my ratios off last week on my nutes. Anyway she's turning into a bush I found some balls on the lower half been plucking them off. So I guess technically it's a Hermie not a her. Top half looks amazing. Since it's only one plant I'm going to grow it out I've got nothing to lose. Had to do some lst because it grew up into the light. EC is at 2

These photos were taking yesterday and I meant to post than but here we are. They seem to be doing well, growth seems to be picking up a bit but I've noticed slight burns and I think I just started nutrients a little bit too early. A new addition to the tent is a 4th seed I planted today, I'm goign to breed the best female and male, hopefully I get two females and one male but well see.

Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back! 💚 Woche 9 (Tag 73) im Vergleichsgrow! Bio Tabs NL. vs. Weedefix (Stuttgart/ Germany) Hier im Bio Tabs Grow haben wir nun nach 73 Tagen des Einpflanzens eine Höhe von 136cm erreicht. Der Stretch ging nur bei der Bio Tabs Pflanze so steil. 🤷 Daher habe ich den längsten Haupttrieb gecropped, das bedeutet einfach etwas abgeknickt, dass er gleich hoch bleibt, da mir sonst die Höhe ausgeht. Blütetag: 28 (BW4) Nach der dritten Blütewoche, lässt sich eine etwas differenzierte Performance der beiden Düngersysteme beobachten. Der Stretch performed bei der Bio Tabs NL Pflanze etwas krasser. Auch die Pflanzenmaße scheint hier nun insgesamt etwas mehr zu sein. Diese Woche gibt es noch ein leckeren Komposttee. 🍺 Es bleibt spannend! Ansonsten nur Wasser.
