Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 4 OF FLOWER. The week ran smooth, girls keep on growing well, my soil is becoming a bit compact, i usually use clay pellets mixed but this time i when straight with the soilless mixture, 50% Mosses and 50%p Perlite, with no organic correction so is inert, a pro is that you don’t see bugs such as gnats, till now. For the moment @B4RNS gave a nice idea on how to improve the aeration by using a knitting needle, to poke the soil, and that was easy to do, with minimal damage. Is a regular plastic pointy stick. Had putted up the lamp to around 40cm from the canopy. EC continues at 3.1, and added overdrive to the feed, lowered the B-52. Cal mag more diluted 1ml/l one time a week only. STRESS KILLER COMMENT. All good and easy, super strong, getting nice and fat, and this week she started to produce some trichomes, yummy! Smell is very citrus oriented, and enjoyable, super fruity with a touch of acid. Would like to super crop the top but as she is doing her thing very nice decided to keep that way as the NL also has a upper canopy and the lamp is one wouldn’t t do much.

Say 57, start of week 3 flower. Everything ticking along nicely so far. Tank got a full change out today. Have dropped the A&B strength slightly to EC1.4 as the last couple of days, the EC has went up 0.1 per day (hitting 2.0 today) so thinking they're happy with water at the moment for this last week of transition before full force flower (And the PK warrior starts getting added in!). pH came out at 5.5 from the mix so left it at that as this is a 1 week tank (due to PK warrior going in next week). History shows my tank rising around 0.1 per day so will do my usual daily checks just to see if any adjustments are needed but hoping this should do it for the week. It rained all day today, so I skipped watering at all today as the ground got well saturated. 7/22- Our weather continues to be really hot with daytime temp's in the upper 90's Fahrenheit. If it does not rain I am watering everyday with 10g of well water. 7/24- The daily watering routine for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF continues with 10g of straight well water from the garden hose given at sundown daily with the exception of when we get substantial rain. 7/26- Well there's another week of vegetative growth for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and, hopefully, she'll be tranitioning into flowering in the next week or two and then thing will be getting a lot more interesting for sure! Last week update: the other crop, imported from abroad, was infested with whiteflies (and odium at the end). I didn't see anything in that tent, but as a precaution, I applied a foliar treatment (bio) against these pests. I rinsed with demineralized water five days later to clean the leaves. I'm planning another treatment this weekend, this time a fungicide (also organic), again as a precaution. Otherwise, everything is going well. I'm still struggling to maintain good nighttime humidity (my air extractor isn't look sufficient around 67%); a solution should be coming soon. I started flowering yesterday and I'm eager to see how they develop.☮️😎

Good thing about this final stretch is that the bud sites are growing along with the stretch. Glad I stopped giving her grow nutes or else she could be stretching even more. Every 10 days or so I feed them with only water and enzymes to help out with the roots. Funky smell is starting to come out. Isn't that strong yet but it's nice. OG Kush type of smell. Switched to 24h light cycle for faster grow. Added one 25€ 6500k 100w light for better veg. Took the warmer light bulbs away for lower electricity costs. Started to low stress training few days ago. Thinking about defoliation. Got the funny humidifier from my granny😆 It doesn’t work that well. Getting the right one soon.You can see it in the video. I ordered some things: Co2 bag, larger textile pots, clip fan and 50L light soil mix. I know that pots are getting tight for them and it seems that I have to buy larger pots from the local store bc shipping takes too long.
