~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and they should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I love my west Coast OG from fastbuds.. The smell is crazy and after I touched a bud I couldn't believe the smell and the stickyness... Wow.. Aug 10 I just flushed today.. might have been feeding her to much last week and my leaves started to get brown spots... Buds are getting thicker and they're very hard now.. Think I have 2 or 3 weeks left... Been under the mars hydro sp150 and it's really doing it's job... Update... After flush looks like pH is a bit high I guess but not crazy high

June, 1st. Totally forgot to update the Bubblegum. What should I say, its awonderful, stunning Plant. Never thought that after i had so Problems to get her to grow in the very early Seedlingsstage So once again... never give up on a Plant and iam having Clones... yaay She has a great Structure, ( LST pays off now) and Buds are stacking up all around lushgreen Happy looking Plant Watering nearly daily ( with the Beneficals) Feedings if needed

4/10/2023 Week 1- Day 1 of Flower (Day 68 overall) So when I looked in the tent today the leaves were just above the Net. They hit my " I have to flip mark" so I did just that I flipped them today. I drained the system and filled it with Week 1 Day 1 Flower Nutes. The lights are set to turn off at 8:00pm EST and will turn back on tomorrow at 0800 EST and everyday for the rest of the Grow. To get my water change schedule back on track to Saturdays, since I had to flip tonight on a Tuesday, I will wait 1 week and 5 days instead of the typical 2 weeks for my first change out of the system, so not this Saturday coming up but the following Saturday. A few branches are close to where I can SCROG them down. 4/13/2023 Week 1- Day 4 of Flower (Day 71 overall) Super Cropped it and SCROGed it down to the net, I will keep and eye on it and take action as different branches reach over the line. 4/14/2023 Week 1- Day 5 of Flower (Day 72 overall) I defoliated the canopy some and I cleaned up some of the under bruch that was getting no light. Deep in the middle and low under the canopy. I also did a little Super Cropping of any branches too far above the canopy. 4/15/2023 Week 1- Day 6 of Flower (Day 73 overall) Continued defoliation of the top bottom and front and some heavy defoliation of the backs of the plants today.. 4/16/2023 Week 1 - Day 7 of Flower (Day 74 overall) Did Some Heavy Defoliation of the stuff on the inside that isn't getting any light and I cut off anything that I found that seems weak and is still just not making it to the canopy. I also did some super Cropping of the branches as well SCROGing it down. What a fucking main cola! Shes got atleast a foot of length that will be a solid mass by the time shes finished! No vertical growth to speak of... thank God lol. Trichomes are starting to pile on, and that oh so familiar smell of straight gas ⛽ beautiful. This lady got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. I also adjusted her feed to a more bloom heavy dump. Next I will start to tail off the nitrogen. Little bit of tip burn just on her upper portion. That got a little over exposed to the light in her old setup she out grew. No biggy though life goes on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Hey everyone, I think a few more days. At least I put the fertilizer down and keep an eye on everything with a magnifying glass. It definitely smells and sticks like hell.

Recovery at its finest, that's what you will see on week 4 around here! Guess who's loving the CO2 with high temperature? Thats right, all plants are! The comparison of last week with this week have such a difference, on day 24 I introduced a DIY CO2 bottle, the recipe consist in: -CO2- 2 cups of sugar 1 tablespoon of yeast 1 tablespoon of baking soda 1 later of warm water Mix all ingredients on a bottle, make a nail hole on the cap shake a little (when shaking put your finger on the nail hole, you should hear a hissssss when you release the hole) use it when lights are on, increase temperature to 30-35C, watch for high levels of humidity, and voila! I haven't started any LST yet, I am waiting for a bit more growth to start bending, I have to make sure all 5 plants will have enough space inside this 2x4 tent. week 7 first flowering week when I finally discovered my princess was actually a prince. 12/12 flowermind ferts (6ml + 0.5g) LST + defoliation started seeing some thrips again, but just a few, nothing to worry so, the plant stayed for 4 weeks in the tent, under COB LED 200W.

Easy grow for the most part. This strain had a very tropical/gassy smell to it.

Chopped and hanging in the smaller tent, I’ll be back with edits for jarring and curing… The Acapulco Gold smells like sour green apple WarH3ad candies 🍏 leaves my nose tingling. The Laughing Buddha smells tropical, lot going on in its profile I’m not quite sure what kind of fruit cocktail it reminds me most of but it’s more sweet and creamy. Next up, I moved 4x clones of the Laughing Buddha into the 4x4 tent, and setup drip irrigation. 💧I’ll start up that log soon. 🤘 I’m high.. HIGHLY recommend grabbing these strains from Barney’s Farm. 🏆

Second week, little to tell, the girls are big and looking to root, I have passed them to pots of 3 liters, at the moment only water and Rhizotonic to stimulate, and are already under the 600wLED

Day 36 - Starting week 6 and can’t really complain. She does have a couple funky leaves but just a few and probably from me dripping nutrient rich water on them but she’s looking nice and healthy overall so saying this week is the start of flowering. She stretched almost a full inch over the last 24 hours and really looking forward to watching the buds develop. Day 37 - She’s still doing a bit of stretching but pistils are shooting out like fireworks. She’s definitely going to be needing some more water tomorrow and did some leaf tucking tonight. Day 38 - Decided to hold off on watering and feeding for another day or two. She still didn’t seem quite dry enough to don’t want to push it. Re-tucked some leaves and will check things out tomorrow. Day 39 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today and there’s not much I can complain about right now. She’s budding up nicely and looking like when all is said and done, it should be a good harvest. Not much of a smell coming from her right now but still looking good overall. Day 40 - I turned on the second light in the tent to help pick the temps up a little bit and all of a sudden growth on all the gurls exploded. Just took some pics for progress and readjusted everything and tucked the leaves a bit more. Day 41 - She’s still doing some stretching and really budding up nicely. I ended up removing a couple more fan leaves so keep things open. Will probably need to give her some water on Tuesday. Day 42 - The end of week 6 and she’s doing great. Nothing else new to report and just updating some pictures. She’ll get some water and nutes tomorrow.

Start of the thrid week today. I was behind on my dairy the first two weeks so there may some date differences in weeks 1+2 Gorrila zkittlez - doing great so far getting nice and bushy. Doing LST on the three off the every 3rd day and that's about it. Psychosis - she has still been growing and new stems appear evey few days. Two of the leaves had yellowing in them for 2 week so I've put in down to the lack of cal/mag in the system. Today I was going to replace the nutrient water but instead I decided to leave it and and cal/mag to the res. The reason for not changing water is down to the volume I am using. I have a 225L tank, 6 20L pots with a 20L brain unit. So I'm roughly using 300/310L if I'm at full capacity (365-15%) due to me obv not using the full capacity of the red or bucket for many reasons. I only need 50/100 litres at this stage per week so instead of changing it every 7/10 days. I have filled the system with more than enough supply as to not need to change it so frequently. Ps. The nuits/ec/ph have been holding steady for weeks now hence another reason for keep the water res from week 1 I will be changing the nuit strength and water at some point soon of course... Maybe give it another 7 day depending on how the plants are doing 🤙👍
