Good morning everyone! First off I want to say a special thank you to grow Diaries for Choosing Tutorial "how yo build a scrog" for Second Place! Now for the update I discovered two males in my grow both of them are Blue Hawaiian. I decided to inspect the root development sence they were going to be destroyed anyway. I was really upset on the how they look. Normally I transplant at least 4 times before I reach my final pot. On this grow I experimented by transplanting from a solo cup to my final pot and also another by just placing the seed directly into the soil. You can see from the pictures that the roots did not develop much at all. I will not be using that method again. On another note for those of you that have experience using molasses in your feeding schedule for your plants can you chime in and tell me what you would use and how you would mix? Buds are now looking ripe. The trichomes are mostly milky and senesance has set in nicely. Pushing until i start seeing 1 or 2 Amber's and then will induce 48hours of darkness to attempt to increase thc production before harvest

Day 64 - Starting week 10 with this girl today and she’ll probably need another round of water tomorrow. She seems like she’s coming down to the end and might have about 2 weeks left. Looking at her trichs, she’s got a little bit of amber in there, mostly cloudy but a few clear mixed in as well. Day 66 - Didn’t have a chance to update yesterday but did give her 2 gallons of water with 5ML of Magical and 80ML of Sugardaddy to try and finish her up strong. She’s got some nice tight and compact buds going and can’t wait till she finishes up. Didn’t do much to her tonight other than check the trichs, which is all milky with a few amber in there, didn’t see any clear. Day 68 - All looking good still and she’s still got a bit of time left looking at her trichs, still some clear mixed in there but mostly milky with a few amber. Most of her pistils are still pretty white as well but she’s getting close. Not gonna need any water for another couple of days either. Day 69 - She’s starting to finish up nicely but as of right now, she’s probably got another 7-10 days left. There’s not very many clear trichs mixed in but enough for me to let her got another week. Other than that, she’ll get some water tomorrow.

D8. We're at the start of the second week, and there isn't much to report. The girls are slowly getting taller and wider. The leaves of both plants show interveinal chlorosis, and the first one also has a tiny bit of a burn and twisted leaves. I suspect that is due to the girls growing right into the topdressing, and I'm hoping that it will correct itself as the girls get bigger with more substantial root systems. I prepared some foliar spray with fulvic acid and horticultural soap as a wetting agent for my other tent, so I also gave these girls a very light foliar spray. I might as well when I have extra :) ------------------------------ D9. The chlorosis is decreasing, but we have squatters in the tent! I've started germinating this year's chilis: Fidalgo Roxa, Jalapeño Early, Serrano, and Mushroom Yellow. I'll keep them in the tent as long as possible since it saves me some electricity. ------------------------------ D11. The second girl had a later and slower start, so she is lagging. Let's see if she catches up eventually. Soil is slowly losing moisture but still far from needing a watering. DLI set to 16. ------------------------------ D14. The end of the second week. By now, there's a clear size difference between the two girls, with the first being significantly larger. On the other hand, she also has twisted leaves, which the second girl doesn't have. One leaf is even a bit burnt. I tested the soil today, and it clocked in at a neutral pH of 7, so I doubt it is a pH issue. Instead, I suspect it is due to the topsoil being too "hot" with the top dressing I put on before the grow. In hindsight, it might have been better to wait with the top dressing until the plants had established themselves. Oh, well. We grow and learn. I still haven't given the girls any more water, so the fungus gnats get to enjoy life a while longer. Although, they haven't really become much of an issue. Still, the buggers have gotta go, and I'll water in SF nematodes to deal with them in a few days. I raised DLI to 20 yesterday. ------------------------------

This wonderful ak 420 is developing very good, now she's been Transplanted ill start working on her lst to get a very beautiful ak420 bush. She's looking super healthy on her living soil by florganics and she's developing very fast. Let's see what happens.

Hey now, hope everyone is doing well, I had one out of two Fastbuds Strawberry Bananas pop and she is currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter/perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as her roots fill up the solo cup. I will transplant her probably in a week or so, she seems to be starting slow even though she's in a perfect environment. I have seen this before, and some of the ladies I was ready to give up on became massive producers, so I'll see what happens with this one. I have gotten some great yields and flower quality from Fastbuds strains, but I have not had the greatest germination success rate compared to other breeders. I started prepping some coco for this grow by flushing it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in buckets of water with an EC of 2.0 from Cal Mag. This will help prevent cal mag deficiencies in the plants. I will transplant her to her final home in a week or so which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am very excited to crank this Medic Grow LED up and especially add that UV/IR spectrucm to the flowers and see what effect that has on the final THC and terpene production. I am currently running the Spectrum X at 30% which is about 230 watts in the F1 spectrum which is the blue/veg spectrum. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest expected grow times of Glueberry OG and Strawberry Banana, and next week I will add a Gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds and a Purple Punch from Barney's Farm with the hope that they will all be ready for harvest within a week or two of each other. Hi, and welcome back! I see a little nutrient deficiency starting in the Solo cups on some of the plants, so it is time to uppot! I transplanted each of them into their own 1 gal fabric pots. All of them are looking good, with no visible mutations. So far, these girls have been stress free!

Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. * ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. 10-25 Day 1 - FEM 9 is standing up today and ready to plant! DAY 1 - The coco is prewet. - Same feed: 1.75ml/gal cal mag 1.75ml/gal Coco A 1.75ml Coco B 270ppm @ 5.8ph. - I made a hole, poured about 50ml into the hole of the pre-made mix, same i used for the coco, and planted my puck. I then poured the other 50ml around her where i planted. 10-26 Day 2 - No water today, giving them a slight rest lol. - FEM 9 is sticking straight up today - Helped her out a bit and I finished pulling off her shell, but she fully opened by the end of the day 10-27 Day 3 - Same feed I made earlier this week, 270ppm @ 5.8 pH. Gave 100ml in ring around the plant. 10-28 Day 4 - Same feed, another 100ml today. - Still standing tall 10-29 Day 5 - Gave another 100ml in ring of same feed again - FEM 9 is the 2nd biggest in my new batch of babies! She came from the smallest seed too LOL. 10-30 Day 6 - 100ml, same feed 10-31 Day 7 - 100ml again. - Last day of her week 1 nutrients. Will make a new batch for tomorrow

Very happy with this first time topping and got some hefty sized tight boulder nugs just drying now smells strong and musky with a hint of green apple, tried a tested and I slept for 16 hours very heavy hitter I did have a hard days work before hand though, buds stayed nice and tight after drying grinds up beautifull cured for a week tastes STRONG definitely dominant in GDP I hadn’t smoked in a while had my test of this and slept for 14 hours solid 🥊
